O I was told by medical person to follow this diet in effort to improve my blood test. It is high and low in certain common areas. I have not actually tried it. Doubt I can. Some of words are so strange to me. I am an adopted son of the south. You want me give up grits for polenta? Don't thinks so. I will do more olive oil and fish. Fresh fruit and salad almost unknown in my current eating. At least now I will know I am killingmyself
Greatest recipes and explanations for their values I have e Dr encountered.
I am amazed that I would find a book that I could understand well enough to prepare and serve to my wife; who happens to be not only a great cook, also an excellent judge of good food. I'm happy to say
Four different 4-week diet plans (traditional, meatless, seafood-free, and 30-minute) with recipes. Great story-telling and deliciously indulgent recipes which we will be incorporating into our rotation.
Packed full of information and easy to understand. Great recipes with everyday ingredients. Would definitely recommend this book. Has something for everyone.
This was a curiosity and investigatory read. I did not get into the meal plans and recipes. Found it interesting and will probably make a few changes to my own eating because of it.
