This book was much more informative and in depth than Atkins’s other book, “Pottery Basics”.

I liked that she includes throwing, molds, and slabs as production methods, and it was interesting to look at the templates at the back.

I also appreciated the more in-depth look at the forms themselves, and what each piece was called.

This is definitely one to look at if you’re a super-new beginner getting interested in pottery.

This is another pottery book that I absolutely adore. All of the projects are great for beginners and advanced alike. The pictures are incredibly helpful and aid in each of the projects.

Once again, I look forward to starting a project from this book. If you're just starting out in pottery, this is a must-have.

The pottery is pretty and I like that it provides short and informative details about choosing the right clay, how to start, and health/ safety.
