While I confess that our hero and heroine, Gabe and McKenna, were absolutely explosive together, I was just not as impressed with them outside of their intimate scenes.
Gabe made an assumption about McKenna and his actions were driven by it. She forgave him waaaay too easily in my opinion. She felt unnecessarily guilty for something she had no control over and it just didn’t jive. Might just be the grudge-holder in me.
Other than that, these two really did have great chemistry. The plot was ok. The writing strong.

Cuffed By His Charm is a charming and although intense had many sweet moments that I wasn’t expecting. Honestly, I had the most enjoyable time reading Gabe and McKenna’s book. Now I will say first off that this book can be read as a stand a lone, but I think I would have preferred being able to read this series in order to get more background information on this couple and Gabe’s three other friends especially since they play a big role in this story. This was a contemporary romance that I honestly was expecting a ton of angsty stuff going on and this book blew me away. All the angst pretty much happens in the beginning of the book which I found so refreshing. Most authors tend to drag it out through all the book but this author didn’t do that and boy I love her even more for that because I so needed a book where the romance was sweet and emotional and it had a vibrant feel to it.

So our lovely story begins when Gabe learns that someone has been spying on them and working with the tabloids. He has worked hard to make sure his name and his company’s name has never been slandered by the press and now he has proof that it was McKenna. A woman he deeply cares about but since she is his employee he has never crossed the line with. And so they have hot angry sex (all consensual though) and then Gabe breaks the news to McKenna and demands to know the truth. And learn that McKenna is completely innocent and that her brother stole her key pad number and sold information to the tabloids for money and he is always getting into trouble financially and McKenna always bails him out because she is protective and loving and sweet. So now Gabe has a lot of groveling to do and they have to get to the bottom of who is behind everything and to save McKenna brother’s life and still somehow find a happy ever after with Gabe.
So I really enjoy every aspect of the story and seeing this character-driven romance was just icing on the cake. We really learn so much more about Gabe and I loved that. Now, McKenna, she is an open book from the start. She is hard working, driven, kind and generous and doesn’t have a mean bone in her body and completely devoted to those she loves the most. Then we have Gabe who is a bit more complex but not really. He has a heart of gold but also likes to use his imagination in the bedroom. He runs a secret business that hardly anyone knows about but he has a great eye for business that works wonders and a talent he inherits from his father. But boy I loved hiim as the hero. Because he is so attentive and gentle at times with McKenna and he can be just as strong and alpha like in the bedroom when McKenna is all out for that. What I found most interesting is seeing how intune these two are with each other. And how the focus is on their relationship and how close-knit they are together. So many sweet and poignant moments I just never wanted to put this story away.

I’ve been looking forward to Gabe’s book. Out of all the guys in the series, he’s intrigued me the most and it started with a bang! Literally. The author wasted no time in the beginning and gave us a really hot angry sex scene. Talk about starting at 100 mph!
Even though I liked Gabe the most, I think we needed a bit more grovel from him for McKennas sake. I did like these two together. We’ve been teased by their attraction in the previous books so I was ready for their story.
This was a great series that I can’t help but think we might get another one for Alex? She’s such an intriguing side character and I want to see the man that will snatch her right up.

This is a delightful book, with strong, likeable characters, emotional angst, a complex plot and steamy sex scenes. It wraps up the Dirty Little Secrets series, and we finally find the source of the information the tabloid “Gotcha” has been printing about the owners of several local sex clubs.
McKenna Archer has been in love with her boss, Gabe O'Keefe, for some time, but he won't blur the line between boss and employee-until he believes her guilty of spying on him and his friends and turning the information over to a tabloid. His treatment of her is horrible-as his guilt when he finds out that her brother, not McKenna, is the culprit.
McKenna has been bailing her little brother out of serious scrapes for years. She loves Gabe, but when push comes to shove, will she chose the man she loves, or the brother she has always protected?
The suspense in the story starts with the first chapter and continues to the epilogue. Expect some explicit sex scenes, including BDSM, McKenna is a woman who has overcome the tragedy of her childhood to support herself and her brother. Her strength and self-confidence are inspiring. Gabe is not particularly endearing in the beginning, but as he works to overcome his guilt, we see the loyal, determined friend and lover he really is.

This is the fourth book in this series and it really is a very good series and well worth reading. I do like this author's writing a lot and she holds my interest .
Unfortunately I have to say that this is my least favorite book so far and also I imagine the final one.
I really liked Gabe's character, even with his initial harsh treatment towards McKenna and that was partially due in fact to her brother's deceiption. I could also definitely understand McKenna's sense of loyalty to her brother but aspects of this story fell a little short for me and this was really just an ok read.
I deliberated between 3 and 3.5 stars but the inclusion of an epilogue and the opportunity to find out more about some of the character's from the first three books swayed me to the higher rating.
Mild bdsm scenes.

February 24, 2018Stacey Kennedy is one of those authors that read one book by and you cant stop reading her other works! And this is no exception to that rule! I absolutely loved everything about this book. Her writing stole my heart in such a way that I couldn't help but keep reading every chance that I got and didn't stop till I was finished! If you need a good romance to pick up then look no further!

I have read all four books in this series and must say this was my favorite. Gabe is a dream. He is passionate loyal driven protective and let's face it he's rich. Who wouldn't want him as their man. He is also easy going. He has all the money in the world yet he is more comfortable working behind a bar wearing jeans and a t shirt instead of being the CEO of his own company wearing suits and ties. That's another thing that makes him my favorite of the four guys.
Mckenna has had a rough life. She had a mother who she was better off without and a brother headed down the same path as the mother. Yet even though he has caused her so much trouble she still protects him and bails him out. She is badass. And brings Gabe to his knees. There were a few times I wanted to shake her because of her fierce loyalty to someone who couldn't care less about anyone but their self but I can also understand the circumstances behind it too.
Stacey Kennedy knows how to keep her reads on edge and how to give her readers explosive sex scenes as well. All I'm going to say is shower sex never seemed so good. I will add that even though this book could be read as a standalone I would highly recommend starting from the beginning so you do not miss anything. It will make much more sense that way too. I did not want this series to end. And I really wish she would write Alex's story. You'll understand why when you read this one..

I have always loved Gabe, but after the way he started out his book, I am not sure if that love will last. Will he redeem himself???
McKenna has had a hard life, but she has a big heart and sometimes that lands her in trouble. She has loved Gabe for a long time and she knows that he has feelings for her too, but he won't cross that line because she is his employee. Just when McKenna thinks that Gabe has finally given in to his feelings, he accuses her of something that she doesn't know anything about. Again, McKenna is devastated. 1) Because Gabe don't trust and believe in her and 2) she thinks that she has now lost somebody else that she cared about.
Gabe knows that he has totally screwed up with McKenna and doesn't know how he will ever get over what he did or how he will ever get McKenna to forgive him. He broke her heart. It will take something major to make them see past their hurdles, but sometimes love is worth the pain.

Received an ARC for my fair review for netgalley. I did enjoy this book, however did not like Kenna, and she never grew on me, she actually annoyed the crap out of me. I understood her loyalty towards her brother, but I think she took it overboard, she did not help him the way she should have, she should have gotten him help, but she enabled him, and she did not get to the conclusion til the bitter end, and what I did not get, was how when she thought Gabe paid a certain amount, she chose her brother, til her brother told her the correct amount, and then she got it? what? His actions didn't show you?. Gabe was awesome, he was a loyal friend, and he was good, too good with Kenna in my opinion, but he showed her he loved her, and she still did not get it. It was great to read about the other characters from the previous books again. Still love my Ryder, he is my favorite, I would have loved to read about his wedding. I would love a story about Alex, hopefully she get one, even though this was about these four.

I have been waiting for Gabe's book for so long and honestly I could not wait to jump right in! Gabe and McKenna were pure chemistry. They were drawn to each other from the beginning and nothing could stop the explosive heat from sparking between them! I could not get enough!

Great Series and Great Author!! Boss Gabe and Employee McKenna have had a chemical attraction since she started to work for him in his bar. Gossip and Taped conversations made public have prompted Gabe and his detective friend Ryder to track down and eliminate this privacy infringement! Anger and Rage fill Gabe prompting his actions when the finger is pointed at McKenna. Even with their rough encounter and regret it is discovered that it is McKenna's brother who has sold this information to the tabloid. Taking care of her brother and bailing him out of his debts have taken a toll on McKenna but family is forever. Gabe knows how McKenna feels and fears that his love will never take a front seat with her. Kennedy’s emotional and erotic Dirty Little Secrets series is based on four men who are bound together by friendship, business, and BDSM. Cuffed By His Charm is the fourth story in this series and deals with the last man standing-billionaire Gabe O’Keefe. Book three revealed who has been selling Gabe and his friends’ out to the tabloid Gotcha. Now he has to figure out why and how to stop them. A spin off the Club Sin series, each story in here focuses on one couple with a strong ongoing arc. While you don’t have to read the Club Sin series to understand this one, I do recommend reading this series in order.
Kennedy opens on a tense scene with Gabe storming the castle (actually his pub) to confront McKenna Archer, the supposed person behind the bugs and tabloid stories. Gabe is heartbroken and angry that this woman whom he trusted has betrayed him. He uses their sexual attraction against her, engaging in rough sex as a way to punish her, before demanding she confesses. Her repeated denials only further anger Gabe more so he forces her to go to with him to Blackstone Security, hoping Ryder can break her. Only, while there he learns that he was wrong.
Very, very wrong.
McKenna is shocked, hurt, and confused. She can’t believe Gabe thinks she would betray him. At Ryder’s office, she learns of the bugs and watches a security tape only to learn that it’s her brother has been using her. Again. He is the one selling the information to the tabloid. Literally her brother’s keeper, McKenna agrees to help Gabe and Ryder locate Evan as long as they don’t hurt him.
I have been looking forward to Gabe’s story. The multimillionaire owner of a popular chain of Irish pubs and an exclusive BDSM club, Gabe has it all except for the woman he wants-McKenna Archer, his employee. Gabe has a strict policy of not dating employees but McKenna tests his resolve every day. His quiet yearnings had me curious to see how Kennedy would overcome his obstacles. The beginning showed great promise. Heavily character driven, Kennedy builds on the tense romance with it’s forbidden vibe as it unfurls against the mystery of Evan and his connection to the tabloid. Emotionally fractured, Gabe and McKenna try to find a way to repair the damage to their relationship and start anew while looking for Evan for answers.
Unfortunately, this story peaks way early and never recovers. Gabe and McKenna never move beyond a superficial level and frankly, they’re boring. The emotional connection I was looking for never fully develops. Intense sex scenes and repetitive erotic dialogue showcase the sexual chemistry between them but completely overwhelms the romance. Kennedy tries to make us believe they are falling in love but for the life of me, I couldn’t see why. I think a large part of this is the very short time span this takes place in. Less than a week, I believe. It doesn’t help that a majority of the mystery takes place off scene through a third party. So we spin our wheels listening to them have sex in between McKenna giving excuse after excuse for her brother’s actions while Gabe beats himself up over his actions. And yes, I had a hard time getting over Gabe action myself. Even though he told her to tell him if it wasn’t what she wanted, he is still her boss, he still grabbed her demanding sex, and it felt abusive.
Various familiar faces drift in and out of the story with no real purpose beyond pushing the story forward. Manufactured drama and outrage wear on you as you struggle to reach the end. Evan and the tabloid were the most positive aspects of the story and Kennedy only spends about 10% of her time on them. She pushes the main conflict and arc to resolution only to leave some parts unexplained and unbelievable. McKenna’s actions towards the end made her unreliable in my eyes as a strong partner for Gabe relationship wise and I ended the book disappointed overall.

And yes, I had a hard time getting over Gabe action myself. Even though he told her to tell him if it wasn’t what she wanted, he is still her boss, he still grabbed her demanding sex, and it felt abusive.
Various familiar faces drift in and out of the story with no real purpose beyond pushing the story forward. Manufactured drama and outrage wear on you as you struggle to reach the end. Evan and the tabloid were the most positive aspects of the story and Kennedy only spends about 10% of her time on them. She pushes the main conflict and arc to resolution only to leave some parts unexplained and unbelievable. McKenna’s actions towards the end made her unreliable in my eyes as a strong partner for Gabe relationship wise and I ended the book disappointed overall.

Cuffed By His Charm is book four in Stacey Kennedy's Dirty Little Secrets series featuring stong and powerful men in San Francisco. Since this is the last book in the series, I knew we were finally going to get some answers! It can be read as a standalone, but the underlying mystery is present throughout all four books. I would recommend starting from the beginning to understand all that had happened prior to this book.
There is a tabloid magazine publishing stories exposing dirty secrets of a group of San Fran's most powerful. Who is doing it? Why? What do they want?
At the end of book three, we know that Gabe's bar was bugged and that's how the secrets were getting out, but we are thrust into another layer of questions to solve this mystery.
McKenna works for Gabe, and she looks pretty suspicious as the one who sold him out. But why would she? Gabe and her have had an unspoken trust and attraction that they never acted on. The boss and an employee is all sorts of danger, so they never crossed that line. Gabe is hurt about the tabloid stories and takes it out on McKenna when he confronts her about her betrayal.
McKenna is loyal to a fault. How could Gabe even entertain that she would do that to him? But she unfortunately knows someone who would-her brother. A man who would do anything to fund his gambling habit. Boy did he turn out to be a slimeball and a half! McKenna's priorities are definitely screwed up there! I felt she was strong at some points, but her logic and reasoning were way off. She was her brother's enabler, plain and simple!
I enjoyed this book and loved Gabe throughout. I had a harder time with McKenna. I just didn't connect with her. Probably just me, but she was making me pull my hair out at times! I had a hard time following her as she bounced back and forth a lot.
I also liked seeing all the guys and their girls! But the real star here was Alex!! Gosh talk about an ass-kicker! I would love to get a chance to read her story!!
All and all, a good book, and a series worth reading!

This is the fourth offering in the Dirty Little Secrets series, and I have to say that I enjoyed it just as much as it's predecessors, it had the same intensity, heat factor, and emotional depth...and of course a certain sexy multimillionaire that I have been dying to meet! Gabe was everything I thought he would be and so much more, and while I thought he acted like an ass a few times, I let it slide because I knew he would redeem himself eventually... and boy did he ever!! If you haven't made time to read this series yet, I highly recommend you remedy that ASAP, because not only are you missing out on some exceptional stories, but also the opportunity to meet some really amazing characters too!! Loved this one, it left my cheeks with a permanent blush, and my heart overflowing!!

In this Dirty Little Secrets book #4, Gabe O’Keefe wants to break all his rules about not dating his own employee when he falls for McKenna Archer but what he does when he finds out she betrayed him certainly sets this story up to be controversial in some people's eyes. Quite honestly I can't imagine anyone doing something worse and though I wanted to dislike him for it, I just couldn't. I could actually understand how he justified it to himself and how it broke him.
With everything that has gone on in McKenna's life she is the master of keeping her personal power in spite of events turning it upside down. Along with her depth of compassion and understanding about how people think she is a female character that the reader will feel drawn to. I understand her love for her brother who is only trouble. A part of me cheers her dedication to him and the other part says enabler.
The author Stacey Kennedy is the queen of showing real people with real problems in a compassionate manner and she does it superbly with McKenna and her brother. In this complex plot she hits on gambling addictions, hurting someone so deeply that you may never be able to correct it or get their love, finding love but giving it up to protect them and letting go of a loved one to love another.
A big 5 STARS for ending this amazing series in a manner that is deeply satisfying to the reader.

I enjoyed this book though I have to say it was my least favorite in the series so far – the story just wasn’t as intense as the previous characters stories. I
Gabe is the owner of a chain of pubs by day and Club Sin by night. He’s decided to take a break from the CEO life and just work in one of his pubs – he’s taken quite the liking to one of his most recent employees and though things are pretty hot between them he knows getting involved with an employee would be risky. When a tabloid runs a story about his personal life he’ll do anything to find out who leaked his story, when he finds out it’s gorgeous bartender, McKenna he sleeps with her then fires her. McKenna can’t believe that after all these months of sexual tension Gabe’s finally acting on it�� only to fire her right after for something she knows she didn’t do. Heartbroken and hurt McKenna assures Gabe it wasn’t her then walks out and Gabe can’t help but to wonder if she may be telling the truth.
The chemistry between Gabe and McKenna is undeniable but I have to say that was probably my favorite part about the book. There were almost too many details – it made it so that I was skimming a lot more then I would have liked. I don’t know that this is the last book in the series but it will most likely be the last one I read.

Gabe O'Keefe is the owner of many pubs across America and when he learns that the one woman he has wanted for the last year has sold his secrets to the tabloids, he wants revenge and answers. But first he wants her and he will not be easy because his anger will not let him. But when he learns the truth, he feels guilty for using her like he did without getting answers first.
McKenna Archer has never had an easy life, first her drunk of a mother and now her addictive brother. She has tried to help him but what she needs to do is throw him in rehab and leave him there. Because he isn't doing anyone any good now. So when Gabe comes to her and she learns why she knows it is her brother that has betrayed her once again.
Can McKenna accept help from Gabe and his friends, the only people to be there for her? Will Gabe forgive her brother for McKenna's sake? Will McKenna choose her brother over Gabe in the end? Will Gabe and his friends get their revenge on the tabloids in the end?
I love Stacey Kennedy's writing style and this story was great, I need to go back and read the rest of this series too. I loved Gabe and the way he wanted to protect McKenna and she drove me crazy with the way she always bailed out her brother but he was family and that is what you do for a family until you have had enough. So I loved this one and hope you do too, so enjoy.

This is the fourth book in the series - and we have been working up to this episode for a while, so I would recommend that you read them in order to get the full force of this installment. We also get a nod to the Club Sin series too, which is fun for the loyal fan!
Gabe and McKenna have been skirting around their attraction to each other forever, so what happens at the beginning is a massive shock to the system, and completely out of character. It takes a little while to get over that, even with everything we know about Gabe. But the twists and turns mean that he is now going to have to do the very opposite to that which he planned, and may still lose the girl. The plot works perfectly at ramping up the tension, both in terms of the ' Gotcha! issues, and romantic ones.
Super hot, a working resolution and another man off the market! Thank you Ms Kennedy.

Cuffed by His Charm by Stacey Kennedy is book 4 and , from what I understand, final book in the Dirty Little Secrets series. This is the story of Gabe O’Keefe and McKenna Archer.
McKenna Archer has been in love with her boss, Gabe O'Keefe for quite some time but Gabe doesn’t want to step over the line from boss to lover. He prefers to stay her boss while she is desperately in love with him. Gabe gets some wrong information and thinks McKenna was spying on him and his friends and then selling this information off to a tabloid . He turned so nasty and hateful towards her. My heart literally broke as I read his treatment towards her at that point. When Gabe finds out who the true guilty party is, he feels devastated and then in turns really guilty because he realizes that it wasn’t McKenna’s fault. He is going to have a devil of a time getting her to trust him again.
McKenna has had a hard time in her personal life due to a family member having scrapes with the law. She hasn’t had the best home life or people who treated her right growing up. She has had to be parent and sibling to her younger brother. She protected him when there was no one to protect her . She was the responsible person while her brother was in and out of trouble in his life. Now the time has come where she has to decide will she let him take the punishment he so richly deserves or will she bail him out yet again? Also, I was waiting to see how she would handle how Gabe and how he treated her. McKenna was super loyal to a fault and never gave Gabe a reason to doubt her. There was lots of ups and downs yet when it all comes down to it, will she chose her brother or will she chose the man she has always loved. This was a great way to end this awesome series. Gabe and McKenna made a fabulous couple and their chemistry was intense and lovely.

Cuffed by His Charm is the fourth book and final book in the Dirty Little Secrets Series. The story line continues in this suspense filled romance. You do not need to read the series in order, each story is an independent romance.
We pick up with Gabe O'Keefe confronting the possible snitch, his employee, love interest, McKenna Archer. Gabe and McKenna share a mutual attraction but Gabe has kept his distance because McKenna is his employee. Now all bets are off since discovering that McKenna is the snitch.
As it turns out, it was McKenna's brother who has sold out Gabe and his friends to the tabloids. Now the issue is McKenna's brother is missing and Gabe has to put his feeling aside or lose McKenna.
I really enjoyed this series but I felt Cuffed by His Charm was a small let down. McKenna, our heroine, didn't have enough balls. She didn't get angry in spite of being hurt but rather she was a doormat. Although at the beginning of the story Gabe made a terrible decision he redeemed himself by putting aside his personal feelings in order to keep McKenna. 3 Stars

This is Gabe's story. He is being hounded by the tabloids and he doesn't really know what to do when he finds out that someone from inside one of his establishments is the betrayer. He is angry and does something that ultimately made me really dislike him as a man and as a dominant: He took his anger out on McKenna by sleeping with her - it was him trying to get her out of his system.
McKenna has had a difficult life. She is also trying to keep herself above water because her brother who is troubled has been living/sponging off of her for a while and when he finds himself in trouble, she enables him to get him out of trouble. McKenna has always been attracted to Gabe so when he comes to her and she finds herself in his arms, she thinks finally something is going to go right for her. However, she finds herself not basking in the afterglow of their encounter, but faced with an angry Gabe who accuses her of betraying him and his friends.
What follows is the tale of how Gabe needs to find a way to redeem his horrible behavior, McKenna's past is revealed more and more and finally, whether or not Gabe and McKenna find their own happily ever after.
I do wish that Alex would get her own story, as she was one of my favorite characters throughout.

This time it was Gabe and McKenna's time to write their story, but it was not gonna be easy, they had a lot of secrets and bad blood between them.
Gabe misjudge her and he put their relationship at risk by not trusting the person he knew her to be. But she saw through his anger for her allege betrayal and accepted him again because he was all she needed.
Unfortunately, the truth didn't set them free, it just complicated everything a whole lot more.
Very bad people and a troubled family member threatened their lives and it's up to them to decide whether this is going to destroy them or bring them together stronger than ever.

Sexy and sinful. Gabe and McKenna’s story does not disappoint with its secrets and mystery. But you will be drawn in by the way these two dance around each other and challenge each other at every turn.
Gabe can’t believe that someone he has trusted us leaked his secret. McKenna has intrigued him from day one, but she has also betrayed him or so he thinks. The one thing that he can’t deny is his attraction for her and they have been flirting for months. Now he is going to take what he wants and ask questions later.
McKenna can’t deny the pull of attraction she feels for Gabe but when he accuses her of leaking his secrets she is devastated. And when he won’t take her denial, she just wants everything to be over so she can move on.

Sexy as sin. I loved every part of this book it hit on every one of my must haves in a book to keep me reading and enjoying it. Hot sexy domineering alpha male Gabe has feelings for sassy sexy sweet employer McKenna. Unfortunately there are so many different things and people standing in their way of happiness. Will they realize that they need to work together so they can be together or will some one get in their way? Thank you NetGalley and Stacey Kennedy for allowing me to read an ARC of this book and write a honest review.

This is the second book I've read in this series; not reading the other two books didn't take away from this book.
The opening of the book grabs you; Gabe is convinced his long time, trusted employee Kenna has betrayed him. He takes advantage of the crush he has had on her but never acted on before confronting her and firing her. However, it all backfires when he discovers the truth about what happened. Not only does Gabe need to apologize and make up for what he did to Kenna, but he needs to protect her when they discover that she's in danger.
Loved how Gabe truly had to redeem himself and that he carried the guilt around for her so long for what he did. I'm glad the author didn't gloss over this as it was such an important part of their friendship and their relationship.

3,5 stars and that is for Gabe,
what a sweet and good man.
Mckenna,was an oke character.she has a great heart
for her Brother.it is possible.ore she is too stupid too see
who really deserves her undying loyalty and love.
She will get there,but it takes way too long.
And that takes down the rating.
It is fun too see Riley and ALex.
loved the Epilogue.
The story is well written,it all works out nicely.
but did not love Mckenna,Gabe deserved more.
