Smut level: 4.5/5
Actually I didn't hate this book. It Takes Two was a very fast paced and hot read. I didn't really care about the author's attempt at a "romance" though. The randomness of the couple and how they got together after one night was just too dumb for me. I think I would've liked the story better if they had all gone their separate ways. Not everybody has to get together and not all books should have that kind of a happy ending. Sometimes happy endings don't entail a relationship. And that's something I'd like to see more in my books.
Otherwise, this short story was enjoyable. And as always Nikki Sloane made my panties disappear and that's not an easy thing to do. Since I am, as usual, very hard to please.
I recommend this if you have nothing to do and would like to read about stuff you might never do in real life in a book.

A hot dirty quickie read, Nikki can write anything and I'll read it, her style of writing almost makes you feel like your there watching....
Nina and Scott are freakin hot in this short novella, as always it ended to soon for me, would love a full book on these two.

Short, smutty book to read that I actually enjoyed it! I really want to read the next book in the series. This one was a nice introduction and it didn't disappoint.

This was a super short novella that takes place in just a day. I read Nikki Sloane’s latest release, The Frat Boy (loved it by the way) and in there we get to see Nina and Scott (the couple of this novella). I wanted to go back to their meeting and start of their relationship since it’s mentioned in The Frat Boy. This is just a quickie read that jumps right into it, Nina shows up for an adult film shooting and finds out she’s filming with 2 male co-stars. We kick it off with a MFM scene of fun. Her and Scott hit it off during the shoot and it leads to them hanging out directly after and jumping into a relationship real quick.

Listened to this on the read me romance podcast. First audiobook I have listened to and this was hottttt! I mean Nikki Sloane peeps you can’t go wrong! Basically a girl needing money shoots a porno to help with the bills but gets a bit more than expected. To be honest I would gladly be the meat in that man sandwich!

This short story did it's job. I find I'm intrigued to see what the club is all about and if Scott and Nina can navigate a real romance despite just meeting at a porn shoot and deciding to be a couple after that.

Quick, steamy and enjoyable prequel to a series I surely will pick up as I liked the idea and the writing.
I also liked the pretty unique and new - at least to me - setting but though the romance seems to make sense with where this is headed, I didn’t appreciate how insta-intense it got.

I'm going to be harsh with my rating of this audiobook that I listened to from the Read Me Romance Podcast. There was no plot and story. Due to this, the romance came out of no where and seemed inauthentic.

A great short story to get a glimpse in the life of Scott and Nina. I really love Nikki's books and I can't stop reading the Blindfold Club so obviously I had to read this one too.

A quick prequel novella to Nikki Sloane’s Blindfold Club. I decided to read this to see if I wanted to head into this series… but then decided I would read the series at a later date.
I don’t feel like there’s much to say about this one. It’s short spicy/smutty read. You don’t get a lot of depth with the characters in such a short time. But it was well written. I am curious to see how it ties into the series.

Super sexy novella to read before Three Simple Rules. Here we have the steamy story of newbie Nina and Scott in a threesome with Ben. But working as in paid to have sex.

This was… entertaining enough, I guess? Got the ebook for free, and the rest of this series has been recommended to me by a friend who loves it - and I was in the mood for a quick read anyway - so though I’d give it a shot... 3⭐️ as it wasn’t bad for what it is.

I originally read this in the anthology. It was a great "teaser" read that would entice new readers to read more from Nikki Sloane (please do read her other books - they're fantastic) or give backstory to those readers already familiar with her writing. It Takes Two is told from dual POVs - it's written perfectly. Her style is well-balanced - you get a good, believable story with crazy hot scenes.
A few things here with the updated version - 1) it's free. Everyone wants something for free. Here you go. Thank you, Nikki Sloane. 2) We get MORE with Nina and Scott. 3)We see a familiar face, and I am a huge fan.
If you haven't read Nikki Sloane's books, It Takes Two is a perfect place to start. It's a quick read. And, I haven't mentioned the hotness level. It is off the charts. Spoiler Alert....
Although is it really a spoiler? Look at the title of the novella - there is a threesome scene, it's HOT, and it is definitely a DP scene done right!
Like any greedy reader, I always want more. I'd love to see more of these characters later.

I haven't read any books by Nikki Sloane so this novella was a great opportunity to try out her writing style.
The sex scenes are hot!
The plot is a movie shoot for a mfm porn film but two of the characters feel something more between them, I expected it to contain graphic sex but it was also light and not to intense.
I liked It, I thought it finished to abruptly, I wanted to know if two porn stars could make a relationship work while also being with other people but when I next want a hot read I will definitely look at other books in this series which reach a hea.

I just couldn't get into this book because of the plot. The weird thing is I liked the characters and how they were being developed, but it just wan't my type of book. (Spoiler) I don't like sharing for any reason once their is a connection between the characters.

I read the series in sequence in hope of getting the idea of the story. This was shit. No story. Just shit.
