Been reading this book on and off for a few years now and Finally finished it today. Lots of interesting food-related trivia and answers to questions I didn’t know I had.

One of the best trivia books I've read. Very entertaining, very informative. Gives you just the right amount of information about a variety of food related topics

Interesting and informative. Some of the information is out of date (in my edition, anyway). Still a good way to spend some of your spare time if you're searching for a fairly quick read though.

I only read the questions in this book that actually interested me. It was interesting to learn more fun facts about food.

This book was very interesting and informational. It gave me plenty of facts and information on many different types of foods. I chose to read this book because it caught my attention with all this random information. It was something I could easily read and would provide me with answers to many different questions about food that I probably wouldn't ever learn about elsewhere. The author's purpose in writing this book was to just give the readers a source to find out facts about different foods and how they were made or how they got their name. Basically it was just a chill, cool book for anybody who wants to learn about random stuff it an easy way. The book is easy to read and you could catch yourself laughing every once in awhile. The theme is very difficult to determine because it is not very well stated. It is pretty much the same as why the author wrote this book, which was to give the readers something information to read and have fun at the same time. I would say it is to find out how popcorn pops, but that is not it because that it just the title of the book. That is just a random section in the book and is no different than all the others. The style of this book is informational. The book is nothing but random information and facts about different foods. It has no story to it what so ever. Overall I thought the book was pretty good, but I could see how some people would think it is boring and useless. I gave it a three out of five because it was interesting in some ways and I learned many different things about certain types of food, but some of the information was useless. The book was easy to read also. I like how it gave you the type of food each chapter would talk about, so if one food didn't catch your interest, you could go to one you might like. I dislike some of the sections because some were useless and I thought they were boring. If I were to change anything it would be to add more humor to it instead of all the history behind it. My favorite section of the book was when it talked about which chocolate was the healthiest to eat and how they make it. Also I enjoyed the part where it told me who eats the most ice cream and how bubble gum became pink. I have not read a book similar to this one.

Rather than just a brief line of trivia, this is in depth information separated into specific categories and then titled with a question, like "Why does popcorn pop?"

Definitely recommended for any trivia buff and those looking for more than tidbits of food information.

I like the book. I like it because it tells me foods that I like. I like food a lot. It tells me what's the best chocolate to eat and how they make it.
