My hero is an art enthusiast so I wanted to brush up on da Vinci.
This was a quick way to get the facts as well as view the artist's work. I knew some of the things that he contributed to the world, but not everything. I found this book broke it all down in a concise way.

I ended up bookmarking pages in order to discuss sections with my kids later. So this is a good book all around.

Leonardo was an amazing artist. I enjoyed reading of his life and work. I also enjoyed the commentary by Wasserman. He pointed out many things that a layman like myself would never have noticed.

The book had beautiful prints and was a good overview of Leonardo da VInci's life and the development of his artistic style.

The drawings and colorplates are beautiful and I learned a lot about Leonardo and his works.
