Paul J. Zingg, Ph.D., is the Provost and Vice-President for Academic Affairs at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, CA, as well as a professor of history at the university. He has previously published eight books, including four on American sport history, and over 50 articles in academic and popular journals. A devoted golfer for much of his life, Dr. Zingg belongs to several golf-related associations across the United States.
