A short and excellent description of some of the reasons why Masonry is inherently opposed to Catholicism. However, the ending seemed to waver in regards of what to do in the case of people who had already become Masons before, for instance, their parish priest realized, thereby seemingly contradicting its earlier points. A better argument is needed at the end of what is required for these cases in order to flow with the rest of the text.

As a Freemason and someone raised Catholic I couldn't help but read this. It's strange. It's a good primer on why the Church originally condemned Freemasonry but it seems to be stuck there. This is very much a pre-Vatican II / Ultramontane document. As far as I can tell it all boils down to: Freemasonry is bad because it's a competitor to the Church and teaches general freedom of conscience.

Short and easy read of 65 pages. All Catholics should read this booklet. Describes a few reasons why Freemasonry is completely antithetical to Catholicism in particular, and to all Christian denominations in general.

This short book describes the roots of today's evils and chaos.

Freemasonry is anti-Christian by disavowing basic Christian truths, denying the divinity of Jesus Christ, the Trinity and God as our Creator, is an elitist secret society [Gnostic= information only known to a few], and is a Deist-based naturalism. From the beginning, the Freemasons were founded for the destruction of the Catholic Church because this Church, founded by Jesus Christ, is the one and only organization that can stand against demonic-based hatred of humanity. No conscientious Christian can subscribe to its belief. A Catholic belonging to the Freemasons may not receive Communion.

To those familiar with the more-vanilla form of American Masonry, this book reveals Freemasonry's true basis and evil intents. Hopefully the book will create an interest in the dozens of papal and Church documents warning against Freemasonry, as well as the many more detailed books and articles over the centuries describing its pervasive evil.

This book was given to me by my Dad, who always told me and my siblings as children, stay away from the Freemasons. This book helped me discerning history, as I began asking questions to my Dad.

A must for all Catholics to read, as Freemasonry cannot work alongside Catholicism, as they have different plans for humanity, but through Freemasonry they disguise with with conpects like light and wisdom. But, its all about crushing the spirit, and handing one's soul over to the evil one, in the means for power and contol.

I think the condemnations of Freemasonry, particularly of Pope Pius IX in his Syllabus of Errors and Pope Leo XIII in his encyclical Humanum Genus, may have sufficed. Instead Popes as well as Protestant leaders are equally referenced as sources of authority in matters concerning religion. But there is only one source of authority, and He founded but one Church.

Notice also this quote from Wojtyla (JPII) as it strikingly diverges from the manner in which similar errors or even the same error was condemned by the likes of Pope Leo XIII and Pope Pius IX:
"'The negative position of the Church in regard to Masonic associations remains unchanged, since their basic principles have always been considered irreconcilable with the teachings of the Church, and consequently membership in them remains forbidden.'"
As though you could separate the truth from its own signification.

A fascinating little book and a very quick read. Full of helpful (and unsettling) information about Freemasonry from a Catholic perspective. I had heard before that it was a deeply anti-Catholic religion, but it was very enlightening to read this.
