Nice, brief bio about Dr. Seuss. My 4 year old enjoyed it and learned more about someone he knows. The book prompted questions which made it feel interactive.
This biography was very interesting as i found it cool that information could be compressed in a way that small children would understand it. I personally thought that this book would be perfect for children in the 2nd grade as they can practice their reading skills and learn about a famous author. I think it is cool way to teach children small facts about famous people. I liked the pictures on the side that went with the text. I think the most important thing that i found about the book was that it didnt fill the children with facts that they would not remember but it was concise and to the point. I however was left interested in learning more so maybe there should have been a bit more of information. I would like to use this book as an introductory book to when we go over Dr. Seuss books in class. I think this will give students a better idea about who they are reading about and maybe even make connections to what they are reading.
Reading about Dr. Seuss in preparation for his birthday on March 2! This is a great quick easy to read biography of Dr. Seuss. It is in our school library.
