Presents the grim facts about drunk driving and the drastically under-recognized problem of drugged driving, and details programs that have succeeded in reducing the number of such drivers
Starts out by saying that to be legally drunk at 0.19 BAC a man would have to consume 17 drinks in two hours. Bosh. Seventeen? Every seven minutes he downs a drink, and that he's driving from bar to bar to do that.....
Sadly, most of the originators of DWI awareness ended up in the papers for-- um-- DWI. When the book was written, intervention was a novel idea. The book is well-organized and makes valid points, but photos of victims is NOT sufficient to get people to act against drunks on the road. How about it's just the right thing to do?
