AND CAN IT BE was inspired by the great old hymn written by Charles Wesley. The words of this hymn weave throughout the book and play a vital role in the life of beautiful Brenda Matthews. Armed with her deceased mother's Bible and her faith in God, she sets out to achieve her goals of becoming a successful author and finding her beloved sister. Her beauty draws the attention of spoiled Kent Andrews. Used to having everything he wants, he becomes obsessed with Brenda, and sets out to ensure her failure, no matter what it takes. Will her faith be enough to see her through her trials? Travel with Brenda on a descriptive journey from the splendor of the Rocky Mountains to the sights of New York City and Seattle. Discover the history and uniqueness of Vancouver, and enjoy a magical night in Victoria B.C., Canada. The surprising events that unfold are filled with suspense, but this story of trials, miracles, and forgiveness also delight and uplift. You will see how God had a plan for Brenda's life just as He has a plan for yours."

Wow... Okay, This book started interesting, but the lack of talent in writing put me off. I wanted to like this book, I wanted it to get better, but I couldn't take it any longer. It really is sad that the writing was so poor, as the author had a good plot it seemed.
