Mountain Stream: The Chinese Classic Story of Friendship Betweem Yu Boya and Zhong Ziqi

A well known classic Chinese story about the friendship between Yu Boya and Zhong Ziqi from the Spring and Autumn Period (771 to 476 BC,) and the Chinese classical instrumental music "Mountain Stream" written for children 5 and up. Zhong heard Yu playing "Mountain Stream" and was totally engrossed. The two became "zhi ying" ("a person after each other's heart." Later, when Yu found out Zhong had died, he smashed his instrument, vowing never to play again because no one would understand his music like Zhong.
