Re-read again this year.
Excellent guide, so glad I bought this book on sale from the Book Depository UK, it's been very helpful.
Advice on everything, from builds, gear, recipe and formula locations, monsters, Gwent deck building and tips, combat advice, and of course all Contracts and quests (just in case new players get stuck.)
Not only helpful, but a gorgeous book to flick through and get nostalgic about!

I won't lie to you and say I read every single word of this book - in fact, I deliberately did not read a bunch because I'm trying to avoid main game spoilers - but this is an unbelievably comprehensive guide to a massive game. well done.

So clearly I have not read this thing word for word. I'm still in the midst of my first play through and don't want spoilers. But what I have read is great, very informative, and nicely organized. I just wish the paper was thicker and that some of the character design art was included in print and not exclusively digital.
