Could Beau forget and forgive what Gray had done to her? Would she give him a second chance?

SEVEN NIGHTS WITH HER EX is an emotional story amid all the medical drama. Beau is a strong character who knows how to fight for her self-respect and love. Author Louisa Heaton once again brought this emotional story full of tension and romance which would keep a reader hooked to the book till the very last page.

Highly recommended for all readers of medical romance.

If you’re looking for an absorbing, emotionally engaging medical romance with plenty drama and imperfect characters with a shared past then Seven Nights with Her Ex by Louisa Heaton is the ideal pick for you.

Dr. Gray McGregor once had a relationship with neurologist Beau Judd until one day Gray leaves, breaking Beau’s heart in the process. Now Gray is back and Beau is torn on whether she should give Gray a chance to redeem himself. Their journey rediscovering each other, the struggles, the regrets about past actions brings together this story nicely, offering you a glimpse of the power of forgiveness. Overall, Seven Nights with Her Ex is a good story that will keep you turning the pages.

Well....I'm flabbergasted. What a great big pile b*ll sh*t. Excuse my language but I nearly got out of bed late last night to write this review I was so worked up. I actually bookmarked key points in the book for the review but I haven't the discipline to write it without a rant.

The H did a runner some 12 yrs ago, leaving the h at the alter (literally!) and never had any contact with her since. They meet again on a wilderness course, and I confess to thinking oh no we're going to get the fauna and flora in great detail. For the most part we were spared that. Anyway, the h is now very successful but still burnt by her past and rightly angry. The H too was successful in his career but also one big piece of cowardice. His childhood experience was his excuse but the fact that the coward (H) made excuses like wanting to save the h from future hurt was just to galling to be believed. You don't save someone from future hurt by totally humiliating them in front of others. The h's anger didn't last long but what was really really disturbing is by the end she took on equal blame for his desertion. How?? Did he tell her his issues and she ignored them and forced him to get married. Didn't sound like it. When he leaves her a second time, she chases after him and grovels....yes grovels to have him back. He of course graciously allows her to have him. By the end I was pretty much in a rage at having wasted my precious time on this load of ****.

Now I know this is fiction, and I need to keep things in perspective. The writer was brave to take on a 'jilted at the alter' angle. But please, if you're looking for a good romance to read, this is not it.

Fabulous story that I loved it is emotional and moving it pulled at my heart strings, a second chance at love for these two and so well deserved.

Beau Judd is a neurologist and very good at what she does she has thrown herself into her work for the last eleven years after she was jilted at the alter by the one man she truly loved. Beau needs to get out and about and has decided that a medical survival course in Yellowstone Park is just what she needs so off she goes to America from her home in England never realizing who she will meet and how her life will change.

Dr Gray McGregor is a cardiologist in Scotland he loves extreme sports and has thrown himself into these for years he had a tough life growing up and is convinced that he will never love but when he meets fellow medical student Beau in college there is a spark that cannot be denied and falls for her but when crunch comes to crunch and he is due at church he cannot do it and walks away never thinking he will see her again but never forgetting and feeling guilty, that is until they meet again in Yellowstone Park and that spark is still there but so much has happened.

I loved the strength and courage that both Beau and Gray showed throughout this truly emotional journey there was so much that had to be said they had to be honest with each other and they were, this is a magical story that had me in tears smiling and sighing to see them finally have their HEA that was so well deserved, thank you MS Heaton for another fabulous story that will stay with me for a long time

This review is way behind schedule, but I LOVED this story. "Seven Nights with Her Ex" by Louisa Heaton is a quick, romantic story that is listed under Medical Romance but doesn't take place in a hospital. Neurologist Beau Judd decides to take a survival course in the Yellowstone Park area to get out of 'theater' and out in the fresh air. She doesn't plan on running into her ex Dr. Gray McGregor, the man who left her standing at the altar. When they are thrown together as teammates they learn to get along with each other again, and how life and time has changed them.

This is a sweet second chance romance with a happy ending and no cliffhanger. The main characters meet up again on a wilderness survival/first-aid excursion. Due to this premise, there is some interesting information on what to do when out in the wilderness. Once the hero was able to get out of his head and deal with his childhood issues, he was finally able to be with the heroine. This was a quick read that was enjoyable.
