The Great Within

Rate this book
1908. The mind of man is conscious and subconscious, objective and subjective, external and internal. Everything that is expressed through the personality was first impressed upon the subconscious, and since the conscious mind may impress anything upon the subconscious, any desired expression may be secured, because the subconscious will invariably do what it is directed and impressed to do.

Really liked this, but it did take me a while to read it because of the language; copy written in 1907/1908. Am planning on reading it again. Talks about the subconscious and conscious; and how they interconnect. How the knowledge of this can benefit you.....
"The subconscious is within the conscious, and, being unlimited, both in power and in possibilities, is appropriately termed the great within." --Christian D. Larson

gets a little weird at times, such as using your subconscience to literally heal your body, for example. But otherwise another decent read to help reprogram your subconscience to help you instead of hurt you.

This wisdom for reading since the 90s has some good suggestions and advice into how the world around us shapes. The thinking and how we think just forms itself before us into the world and that very thought can very much make or break us. Definitely a good read if the reader have less knowledge on the foundation of the subconscious mind.
