Great YA book, good for adults who luv paranormal

I am eagerly awaiting next book. Writer immediately draws in reader with great imagery of the characters, location and emotions. Book tells the story of Sara, a teen who manifests her powers at 16 instead of 19 as the norm. She is sent to a school away from friends and immediately has to overcome so many obstacles. There is an evil doer, love interests and characters maturing throughout the book. Must read!!! When is 2nd book.

Both books on magic academy's

I have read and enjoyed both books on magic academy's I'm hoping there will be a lot more of each. Is it possible that that Rowling's has someone else writing what I could see being huge in the years to come. I did not get bored or fed up like some books I've read the characters were fab in both and believable so can you please just keep on writing dying to see the next of either book be lucky and believe in yourself magdg. PS I'm a lot older than 15 I have grandchildren so 15 to any age

Oh my gosh, that was great!

This book takes magic schools to an all new level. There's more of a realistic approach to how this book was written than I've ever read before. There are so many types of characters, you will find someone to relate to. The romance part may be a bit jumbled but so is the main character. I'm dying to find out how the Ad-pro's plan went, but we need to read book two.

Interesting story

I can't say I enjoyed reading this because it creeped me out way too much. It was good story and what's happening to the kids just makes me cringe. It's worth reading and hopefully the next book puts a happier ending. Nice new cover.

I walked away from this at 53%. I love books where paranormal kids are sent away to school or camp and figure things out while fighting a big bad, but these kids are straight up abused and their parents and the non abusing teachers are so negligent that they don't even notice. That is aside from the fact that while this smaller group or younger kids are abused the entire college aged witch population is imprisoned against their will at these schools where they are prevented from having outside contact with the world and treated like they are in reform school. And the younger kids, the ones being abused trying to figure out a way to make it stop, actively tell the one person who is concerned and in a position to get word out to someone to look into things that they are fine and everything is OK. WTF are you doing. I just can't. This whole thing is disgusting.

This is a new to me author, and I think I will be reading more. Wildfire is a very detailed book, it's like you are right there with all the ad-pros. This book has a Harry Potter vibe to it, where these kids are at magic school. They are young kids who developed there magic too early and are sent to this school to learn how to control it. But not everthing is as it seems with there mentor.
Looking forward to the next book.

Good first book

I liked it alot for its plot and the world it created but it was lacking in depth slightly these kids are literally being tortured on the daily and the big plan is to.... I wont spoil it but even though i thought it was a good book it could have gone deeper and a little romance between jay and sara wouldnt hurt either ;)

WOW!

This book is amazing. I would put it up there with hairy Potter. It’s something teens today could relate to despite the magic use. I highly recommend this book.

I am just shocked this book is so not hyped it is better than some other over-hyped books according to me so I am disappointed
the author has created this world and had kept us all on our toes in anticipation of not knowing what's going to happen next in this adventure our fav characters are on
not knowing who to trust and who not to trust
just gonna say this needs more attention people

This book is probably aimed at a younger reader than myself but even so I found it easy to finish. My thoughts are perhaps teen girls would relate to the circumstances the heroine fids herself facing. I gave it 5 stars as the writing kept my attention although not something I normally am interested in.
