Kaye Blue, I loved this series. Damien and Lacey's journey back to each other was well written and easy to read. Couldn't put down until I was finished!! A must read series!!!

Damien is a highly decorated ex SEAL who lost everything that mattered to him.
Lacey is a reporter and a blogger...... and she lost Damien.
Damien and Lacey shared a past until she left him. Years later, Damien finds himself in the company of Lacey once again, but this is no social visit, he is here to help her even if it is going against his grain. After what she's done, she doesn't deserve his help and she knows it. They will have to put all that aside in order to fix this new problem. This proves to be hard because every look they exchange reminds them of the past. Their past. Despite all of their history, good and bad filled with lots of hurt and pain, Damien still can't resist Lacey. Even after years, the chemistry is still so powerful between them. Someone wants to take down Silver Industries and hurt Lacey. Someone from Damien's past. Lucien, Damien's brother, will never forgive Lacey for what happened between her and Damien. It all started when Damien left the Navy and Admiral Tremaine, his father's long time friend, and opened Silver Industries; the beginning of his downfall and Lacey played a big part in it. Someone is determined to enact revenge on Damien and his brother. Lacey is holding back with Damien and she needs to come clean in order to be safe. AMAZING CHARACTERS AND AWESOME STORY ! I loved reading Damien's story after the glimpses we got of him the the other books ! Damien was courageous and a true hero. He could not deny his love for Lacey and fought to keep her safe.
THE SEX WAS HOT ! LOTS OF HOT, ANGRY (at times) SEX ! ! ! GREAT READ !

Thoroughly enjoyed Damien and Lacey"s story. This book is one I couldn't put down, not just wanting, but needing to know what happened next. Lydia has delivered on the anticipation and intrigue built from previous encounters with Damien. The man is sexy hot, intense and brought to his knees by the woman he loves. Lacey is strong, independent but wary. They are drawn to each other which results in a reunion of sexual intensity that is off the charts.

I must say I was intrigued by this book. It took me many pages to grasp what was going on in the story (I will admit this was my first book). Damien sneaks into Lacey's house in an effort to protect her. Come to find out they have a history together and it fell apart at the same time as Damien's life was falling apart. The chemistry is good between Damien and Lacey and you're routing for them to get back what they once had but at the same time, Damien gets into a fight and I will admit for someone who was an ex-SEAL, I was kind of surprised that he was so ill prepared for this fight especially since he planned it.
I'm a sucker for second chances and was glad to read this one.

This is my review and how I see it. I received an advance copy of this book for an honest review. This is my third book that I have read of this series. It was a good read, I had hoped Damien's story would be told. In this story we learn the circumstances behind Damien's downfall. Damien shows us he still has what it takes to protect those whom he loves, redeem himself, rescue the woman he loves and find out the secret that she has been keeping from him.
Although, one thing in this story had me puzzled in this story. What happened to Rebecca, Admiral Tremaine's assistant.

Ultimate Redemption. I received this book as an ARC member in return for an honest review. I enjoyed this book. This book was intense. I learned more about the Silver brothers and why Damien was drinking something he said he would never do. Stripped of everything and the loss of your lover can make you do crazy things. Damien loved and hated Lacey at the same time because she left him when he needed her the most. Now she needs Damien to keep her safe but she is holding on to a secret that keeps them apart. Good read!
