An Excellent read. I read this book to help me understand my ancestors in the area. It's a excellent account of the Common and describes a time well. William wrote a diary of his time there. The only sad thing is that names of people are taken out. William also has accounts of the electric shocks he adminstered to people to rid them of their illnesses though again names are not included. It delves into the religious aspects of that time. Furtherly enjoyed this book.
