This book is a must read, I actually took my time reading this one, what I learned from this book, I am still learning right now today, and the sad thing is, is most of African Americans still don't get it.

Great for young black men to know where they've come from and to understand where they're going.

Very direct...very powerful! I’m glad I finally got around to reading it. You don’t have to read volume 1 to read this one. It is a MUST read!!! I added Akil’s books to my list.

Great book! Seriously opens the mind of the reader, putting an emphasis on what's overlooked in the everyday life of people of color. Would seriously recommend this book to every single person I know, looking forward to checking more books from this Author!
