Book two was an emotional roller coaster. I cried, got mad, laughed and cried again. I enjoyed book two much better than book one, it was not as wording and the other characters had more verbiage in this book. In book one Viv told most of the story. There were parts of the book I did not follow since Viv was to move in August but nothing more was brought up about that within the story. The conversations between Alice and Viv are so realistic and I could see girlfriends talking to each other this way. I also think that there could have more of a positive twist on the domestic violence that Viv had. She is a columnist with a broad audience and could have used that as a way to encourage others who are or have experienced this same thing. Also with Justin, being as famous as he is, rather than this hurting his career, he could have taken the opportunity to help bring this type of issue to the front and helped get the message out about domestic violence. I feel like that was a missed opportunity within the book that could have gone a couple different ways rather than the way Viv handled this issue. I did enjoy book two and all the twists within the book. I am looking forward to finishing up the series with book 3.
An enjoyable read but I did find some issues. There were times that I felt some aspects were glossed over so you didn't really understand why things happened the way they did. There was no follow up in some parts such as her moving in September but then they got to the wedding and Viv still hadn't moved.
Found several sentences in the book that appeared to be missing a few words or were somehow mixed up. At times, it was not clear who was actually the narrator so the text didn't make sense.
I can't believe how much fun this book is and it never, ever, ever gets dull. Emotions are all over the place and I'm right there along with them. I laugh and cry, I yell at Alice and Viv when they doubt themselves or those around them, I've fallen in love with all the characters in this series and I'm excited about book 3 . So much more to read , more excitement and drama.
This series has been an emotional roller coaster for me! I LOVE all of the main characters so much. It's so bad that I've become so invested in their lives that I couldn't put this book (as well as its predecessor) down! It was wonderful to finally see the events that occurred in this book finally happen, but my heart can't handle the ending twist! I am dying to read the last book so I can finally breathe again!
When In Doubt is Book 2 in The Unattainable Series. It is a fantastic book leaving with wanting more. Literally I need more. This book you will find out more about these two amazing couples. I’m in awe of these very strong women and what they went through and what they are still dealing with.
Alice and Vivianne have been best friends for so long that when they need each other they don’t have to put it into words. They just know. Alice, Vivianne and their kids just got back from a London excursion and now real life begins again after everything changed in London.
Ryan and Justin both work very hard at seeing Alice and Vivianne as often as they can when they aren’t working. These men work very hard at chipping away at those walls that are up in them. I can’t wait to find out what happens next.
