The three full length novels in the Power Station Series.
T Gephart is a USA Today and International bestselling author from Melbourne, Australia.
With an approach to life that is somewhat unconventional, she prefers to fly by the seat of her pants rather than adhere to some rigid roadmap.
Her lack of "plan" has resulted in a rather interesting and eclectic resume, which reads more like the fiction she writes than an actual employment history.
She'd tell you all about it, but the statute of limitations hasn't expired yet. But all those crazy twists and turns have led her to a career she loves—writing romantic comedy.
When she isn't filling pages with sassy and sexy characters with attitude, she's living her own reality show in the 'burbs of Melbourne with her American husband, two teenage children, and her fur child—Woodley.
She loves adventure, to laugh, travel, and strives to live her life to the fullest.
High Strung: Another wonderful read from T Gephart! I thoroughly enjoyed watching Ashlyn and Dan's relationship grow and change. There was humor, angst, and a healthy dose of steam that all balanced perfectly. I will say that my heart was heart up a little, but it was healed in the best way. And let me tell you it was written so well.
Crash Ride: Another wonderful read from T Gephart!! I really enjoyed Megs and Troy's story. This one is my favorite in this series! One of the things that I love about this authors books is her consistency with her Heroines being strong, yet hilarious. I laughed quite a bit during this one. While there was humor, there was also a rollercoaster of emotions that were definitely well balanced. My heart flat out broke at one point, but it was put back together so beautifully. Proving that true love can absolutely last through the tough times. Issues that are dealt with, but never talked about, in today's society are a part of this story.... But is done so beautifully and respectfully.
Back Stage: A fantastic ending to this wonderful trilogy! T Gephart knocked it out of the park with this one. While this story had a teensy bit more angst, it made the relationship between Angie and Jase that much stronger. There was humor, angst, and a wonderfully healthy dose of steam. There was a very really sense of family with the story as well. My heart broke for both of our main characters, but it was healed so perfectly as the story went on. The writing was so dead on that I actually felt like I was there at some points.
I've heard great things about The Power Station series and while I really enjoyed the stories, I had a really hard time getting past the poor editing throughout. The first book in the box set, High Strung was particularly rough with far too many errors to count, making the reading experience a tough one. The story was fun but I felt it was really hard to get through with the distractions.
For me, my favorite story was Megs and Troy's. It wasn't just sexy but it was emotional and real. I was sad that some major events were glossed over rather than detailed which was definitely a let down. Overall, I enjoyed the stories but would've liked more.
Ok, so my if is I just read this series ( boxed set) again, only in order. I know a lot of writers were involved, so needless to say I’m not going to try to list all of you, so I will just say to all of you: Thank You So Very Much. As I have said second time, even better. Anyone that wants to read a fannntastic Rock contemporary series, I recommend this one. Sooo freaking good, in my opinion. No more to say. If you like Rockers! What the heck are you waiting for??? I would like to think that actually rockers got together, banded together and had some of the experiences that these men and women had.❤️❤️❤️
I loved this box set and I couldn’t stop reading. Dan & Ashley were funny as hell. Dan and his mouth had me laughing out loud. My daughter kept asking me “what’s so damn funny?!” Troy and Megs were even more special. Troy was just clueless in the sweetest way and the conversations in Megs head were hysterical. Jase was a little bit more complicated but he was definitely his own worst enemy. I loved Angie and when she and Jase got together it was off the charts hot as sin. Really all three stories were perfect and I recommend it highly.
It's an easy read, with an interesting plot. It's mostly well written, except for a few typos (ex. lots vs lot's, breath vs breathe, affective vs effective), but thank goodness these are few and far between.
Considering the fact that this box set is three different complete stories & I got it for about a dollar, this was a great deal. I read a lot & don't like cliff hangers that force you to buy the next book to find out what happens, so this was great for me.
All three stories were told from the main characters' points of views, and the stories connected well together.
This was amazing to read. I laughed.I cried. And cheered for all of them. It's rare when all the stories in a box set are great. I can say all three in this one are great.
High Strung (Power Station, #1): This was a love story of two people who shouldn't fit together, but in the end they do. The rock star & the college graduate. I had a couple favorite lines from this story. They are: "I used to think those poor assholes had to make this huge sacrifice to keep their women, but it had been us poor losers who didn't know what we had been missing who had been doing the sacrificing, and I wasn't willing to anymore. Not a chance." and "All that shit about feeling like your heart was tearing in two was a lie. That didn't even come close to the pain I was feeling. It felt so much worse. Like having your heart ripped from your chest, tossed on the floor, and forced to watch it helplessly while you slowly die. That's what it felt like. It felt like dying."
Crash Ride (Power Station, #2): Another great story in this series. It's definitely got it's fun comedic spots in it. I love it when you know 2 people just get each other. Now to overcome the obstacles of being able to stay together. My favorite line in this book was: "I tilted her chin so that I could look at her, her lips parted, waiting for me to take her mouth. I loved her. I'd never been more sure of anything in my life".
Back Stage (Power Station #3): This book definitely pulled at your heart strings. Talk about one stubborn man, but to find out what made him that way, I couldn't imagine. Love the new group of characters brought in too.
