Ruth Anne Scott was born and raised in the Shire of Middle America (otherwise known as Telluride, CO) and spend her childhood hiking, sightseeing, and exploring the wilderness around. As a young dreamer and creator her favorite pastime was and still is to sit on the moss covered banks of San Miguel river to write and create her fantasy worlds.
As a postgraduate she spent much of her adult life working at Amnesty International, doing research into women's rights abuses around the world. Ruth continued to write fantasy as a means to escape the harsh realities of the world around her.
This is the reason Ruth likes to incorporate strong and savvy women in her fantasy works.
The boring part: Now a full time author and artist, Ruth can usually be found hunched over a keyboard or tablet, frantically trying to get the images and words in her head out and onto the screen before they drive her mad. She's addicted to coffee and can be found at the local coffee shops. :)

This is a continuation of the Uoria Mates series, a collection of 10 fantastic books. This author has created such a unique and captivating world, where the characters are both fascinating and intriguing. The storylines throughout this series have been interesting, humorous, emotional, and action-packed. All of the characters are amazing for various reasons and are well defined and likable. This authors attention to detail and style of writing is expressive and descriptive, keeping you gripped throughout its pages. This is such a awesome series and I can say there is not one book I didn't love. A very exciting and entertaining read!

Okay so it's not that I'm getting tired of this book but the author tends to rehash on what we already know. And they do a whole lot of talking about none sense stuff (eye roll). So I skipped over a lot of that trying to get to the conflict. By now, one couple is going back to Earth to get married and has invited the others to come with her. Last half of the previous series they were fighting the Covra and unlocked the humans from the lost missions. Some of them are going back to Earth with them. Another group has headed back to the Mikana kingdom. It gets better at the end of the book where we see the leader Criea get freed and the fight is on with that crazy fool from Earth. I guess I'll have to wait and see how the kick his butt.

Intriguing, fascinating, engrossing sci-fi alien romance, mystery and adventure. The first half of the series was a little boring and slow, but it got a lot better and entrancing when it progressed. There are still the familiar sweet and sexy romances, but there are also a lot of very delightful mysteries and histories, we get to know more new species, and very surprisingly there even emerges a despicable villain. This series 3 is by far the best so far. Highly recommended!

It getting better and better.
So many intriguing plots and characters in this story. So many new species and the bad guy is getting worse and worse. I am so looking forward to Uoria Mates 4. There are so many ways this story can turn out. I can't wait to find out!!!

The Uoria Series continues with Uoria Mates III. This series definitely must be read in order from start to finish as each story builds upon the other. I have really enjoyed this series and cannot wait to find out how it all plays out.
The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is that there are so many characters and different species to keep track of. Every addition keeps adding more and more. Thankfully though there is repetition with most of the characters and they do really have a role to play in the plot but it can be a bit overwhelming at times.
Overall though this is a great series and I do look forward to the next addition.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Wow. I really love this book series. One minute you think that you've got it all history figured out and the next minute something new is added to the mix to change it all up. I can't wait to see what is going to happen in the next box set. I hope it comes out soon.
