This volume ends with Sawako freaking out because she and Kazehaya just had their first fight. I had to go back and reread the previous scene twice to figure out what fight she was talking about. I've had bigger arguments over what to get on pizza. There are nuns in cloisters who aren't as sheltered as this girl.

Nevertheless I love Chizu and Ryu. Their simple love and outright expression of honesty are what made me give this volume a 5/5 😁

What. A. Whirlwind!!
WOW! So many feels in this and thankfully as the cover does reflect, we DO get some happy feels! Though they are mixed in with everything. I feel like the more the series progresses, the more emotional I get. LOL!
I have loved Chizu and Ryu from the get go and seeing my ship FINALLY sail was beautiful. I loved the openness, the honesty, and new realizations. Just all of it was deeply moving and I am so excited for them!
Now with all this happiness, we do get quite a bit of tension at the end. That was pretty intense and proud of Sawako for sharing her heart! And I agree with her right now that Kazehaya is an idiot. LOL!
BUT! He's got time to change and I'm a little nervous about this next volume, but I know good things are in store for these two!

Buenísimo tomo, amo la relación entre Chizuru y Ryu porque se quieren muchísimo.
Por otro lado, me gustó que Kazehaya y Sawako hablaran finalmente sobre lo que a ella le gustaría, lástima que Pin los interrumpió y ambos se fueron enojados. Que, en sí, también es una demostración de cómo hasta en las mejores parejas existen las discusiones.

A bit less of a fun/good volume than the previous one.
And well, that was actually for one reason. Kazehaya. I did like him when we first met him, I liked how he was later on when he started his relationship with Sawako, but by now I just want to hit him in the nuts for being how he is. He is saying he is supporting his girlfriend, but what we actually see (and also is noticed by others) is that he is actually not doing that. He is distant, he is closed-up around Sawako, and then later after the fight he actually says something mean about her while she is not there. Yes, boy, too bad, she wants to follow her own path, and not just stick to her boyfriend. It sucks, but I am sure in a time like this, with everything possible in communication and also transportation, that you will be fine even if you aren't together 24/7. Just be there for her, be nice, lovely, show her you love her. Show her you actually care. Give her a hug, take her out to a date, do something. Because sorry, out of all the couples I still don't believe these 2 are a couple at times.
And really, if it is such a problem for Kazehaya, just be honest with Sawako. Tell her you hate it that she picked something else, hate that you won't be together. I am sure that Sawako will be sad, but at least you are being honest, and I am sure she will appreciate (maybe not immediately, but later) that as well.
By now I am more and more looking forward to the other couples. My dream-couple of Pin and Ayane. Only 6 months to go, and I do hope something will happen after Ayane graduates. It would be the perfect time, and with all the small hints.... Arghhh. The fit together so well and do hope that one day they can be together.
I always loved Chizu x Ryu, and I so happy to see them get so much of the spotlight in this one. There is also a very important couple of scenes happening, and boy, I was just crying so much. I am happy for both of them. They are my second favourite couple, and I just want to see them both happy.
Chizu really has grown up from the first volume were she was prickly at times, a big tomboy (I loved her for being that), but by now she actually understands her feelings, and she is just so sweet now. She is still a tomboy, but you also see a whole different side to her. The way she comforted Ryu, oh my, I just melted and cried. So sweet!
I am also guessing that either the manga is going to stop soon (as we are nearing the graduation) or (which would be fun) go on to college. But I am not sure, it feels like the loose ends are being tied up. Like the last parts of the puzzle are finally going to click together. Chizu x Ryu are now pretty much solid. But we still have Ayane x Pin, and of course the whole mehmeh stuff with Sawako x Kazehaya. I will be terribly sad if the manga ends, it has been quite a ride, so I will miss the manga.
All in all a pretty good volume, I just hope that Kazehaya gets his head in the right place, or else...
I can't wait to see these last few months of High School. To see them work hard for college, for tests, for a new story in their lives. It will be exciting.
Also I just have to mention the cover to this volume. *sniffles and cheers* It is so beautiful. <3

The cover is so nice <3 Chizu may be the craziest girl in the trio, but her scene with Ryu was one of the most mature one <3

I love that they were both angry enough to say "Stupid Kuronuma/Kazehaya" when they were apart. And that Kazehaya hears from Kento that he looks "gloomy" XD

Que si son peras o son manzanas. La decisión de ir a la universidad siempre trae consigo una serie de responsabilidades y hasta sacrificios.
Sawako y Kazahaya están pasando por esa etapa, deben enfrentar obstáculos más grandes y mantener su relación.
Por otro lado, Sanada ya ha avanzado con Chizu y estos dos tortolitos, personajes principales de este tomo, te enamoraran con ganas.

Allora, forse Sawako non riesce sempre a dare voce in maniera chiara ai propri pensieri, ma pure Kazehaya non è che ci va tanto per il sottile...il confronto tra i due non va come previsto, anche perché Shota decide di saltare subito alle conclusioni. Sawako non ha ancora deciso cosa fare, se puntare a un college locale o a un'università a Sapporo, deve fare chiarezza dentro di sé. Una parte di lei vorrebbe mantenere lo status quo, perché ha paura all'idea di allontanarsi e di perdere le amiche e il fidanzato - paura di perdere le persone che le sono state accanto e che le hanno permesso di uscire dell'isolamento, di fare tante nuove esperienze. Shota, invece, è convinto di sapere quale sarà la scelta della ragazza e si dice pronto anche a sostenere la distanza e a non fargli mai mancare il suo supporto. Tutto molto bello, però non può prendere lui le decisioni al posto di Sawako. Se lei dice che non ha ancora deciso, è inutile saltare subito alle conclusioni. Con l'inizio delle vacanze estive, un po' di distanza potrebbe aiutare i due a pensare con calma a quanto è accaduto e a cosa li aspetta in futuro. Probabilmente Shota ha ragione e Sawako andrà a Sapporo, ma questo deve deciderlo lei, non lui. Insomma, ci siamo beccati pure il momento "trouble in paradise".
Leitmotiv di questi volumi è l'ansia legata al futuro, un ansia con cui tutti devono convivere. E qui passiamo alle note liete del volume. Anche qui i lettori hanno dovuto sudare le proverbiali sette camicie, ma finalmente l'OTP suprema ha trovato il suo lieto fine. Anche se Ryu andrà al college per continuare a giocare a baseball, una volta terminato, farà sempre ritorno da Chizu - la sua casa, il suo porto sicuro, il suo futuro, la sua fan numero uno. Chizu è pronta ad accettarlo, perfettamente consapevole dei suoi sentimenti. Quattro anni separati, ma poi li aspetta una vita insieme (certo, sono pur sempre degli adolescenti, quindi certi struggimenti mi sembrano un po' esagerati, ma facciamo finta di niente...non si può mai sapere cosa ci riserva la vita, però mi piace pensare a Ryu e Chizu come a una coppia indissolubile).
Una coppia è implosa, un'altra ha trovato il suo lieto fine. Resta da vedere come procederanno le cose tra Sawako e Shota.

3.5/5 Another volume that feels really short, downed in a half hour. The first half of volume 25 is better. Covering Ryu's final Baseball game in high school and Chizu addressing her feelings about it and about him. While Chizu is a little denser than I personally think she should be these 2 chapters were really nice and I like how they ended. Chizu and Ryu seemingly figured out things more maturely than the rest of the group.
The 2nd half involves Sawako and Shota getting in a fight over a lack of communication "surprise" we're still having to address this 25 volumes later. Figure it out you two. The chapters aren't terrible but they're a bit predictable and something you wish they'd have figured out by now. Especially since the last 4-5 volumes now have been about preparing for what's to come after high school.

This volume is comprised of two arcs: the Chizu-Ryu arc, which is cute and fluffy like a bunny, and the Sawako-Kazehaya arc in which they fight about...well, I guess about whether or not she's going to a college far away?
It's another one of those "misunderstandings" that were a plot device at the beginning of the series. But whereas at the beginning they were understandable due to Sawako being a social outcast and all, at this point, after she's been dating Kazehaya for over a year already, I don't think it was a smart move on the author's behalf to put in another misunderstanding there--it just didn't make sense.
Ranked one star down because of this.

ew sports but i love how all the couples turned out!
i rly hope kento & ayane find love otherwhere bcuz most high school couples rly don’t last 😅 idk WHAT they r doing with pin but it’s ok.
chizu and ryu make sense to stay together bcuz they grew up together and would never forget abt each other. also they’re opposites n it’s so cute!!
and sawa & kazehaya.. i mean they have plot armor and would probably find each other regardless of anything but like;; in sawako’s case i don’t think she would ever forget/stop caring abt kazehaya. their personalities just cause them to be very attached to one another.

Meanwhile, summer break is starting, and Sawako & Shota just had their first fight (at the root of which was … you guess it … a misunderstanding). The misunderstanding was different though. It was purposeful, in that they are both getting to speak the words they want to, but one person is being a bit more honest about their feelings and indecision and the other person is (being honest but) not saying everything they feel because they are either too scared or trying to “not burden” the other person or something. Shota really is an idiot.

Ahhh chapter 101 was lovely! I adore Chizu and Ryu’s relationship (I’m weak against the childhood-friends-to-lovers trope) so I’m so happy about their development.
And (after a year in the series) Sawa and Kazehaya finally had their first fight (it bothers me that they still call each other by their last names even though they’ve been dating for over a year now!).

Sawako, my sweet baby girl. I was a little confused about why was she so upset that Kazehaya kept saying she will be going to the school of education, then I understood. It was because she has yet to make her final decision and since she does not want to be apart from him she is having a hard time deciding but Kazehaya just asume that she will leave him and is dismissing her turmoil.

Ryu and Chizu are one of the best couples, I love them so much.
The fight between Sawako and Kazehaya was actually kind of intense. Sawako thinking she will let go of him?????? I WAS SHOOK. I love that they are finally addressing their future though. Ryu being dragged away from his rice balls was so funny. And Pin treating it like a wrestling match 😭

shota and sawako calling each other idiot was so adorable ngl 😭 the thing that upsets me the most abt knt is how slow their development is, it's alr the end and they're only just having their first fight, i wanted them to become comfortable around each other sooner. i still root for them so hard tho, my fav shoujo fr. i'm glad ryu and chizu sorted everything out they are adorable and love my girl ayane sm as always. wish we got to see kurumi too 3

November 7, 2020You can cheer for someone without wanting them to leave. I was a bit confused as to why Chizu wouldn’t cheer him on - yes, doing better could lead to him being scouted, but losing wouldn’t stop him from going up college. Also not clear why he has to go to college to continue to play baseball...if he’s planning to come back and run the ramen shop, it seems like a bit of a waste.

Nunca creí Sawako y Kazehaya, que ambos terminarían insultando al otro llamándolo idiota🥺, lo gracioso es que después ellos mismos se sorprenden de ello, es tierno pero a la vez es serio, teniendo en cuenta que es la primera vez que se pelean.

Sawako, my little bird is growing up. I am so happy that she talked with Kazehaya and did not let him get away with his assumptions about her future. You go girl. And Chizu… I love her chaotic energy and how when she loves she loves hard. I’ve been rooting for her and I am so very pleased with her arc in this one. I am a big fan of Ryu so I am even happier with how this one ended.
