The last thing Jay wants is to spend his summer holidays with his parents and sister in not-so-sunny Bournemouth. Until he meets sexy ice cream seller Aland. However, Jay isn’t looking for a fling, and he worries that Aland has a one-track mind. Should he give in to temptation or hold out for something more?
This story also appears in the Beach Rental Anthology.
In this cute short story set in Bournemouth, UK, Jay is not happy about going on a family holiday with his parents and sister – after all he is twenty-one, not twelve. But then he goes for an ice cream, meets Alland, and suddenly the holiday becomes a lot more interesting. Jay’s initial resistance to a summer fling melts like snow in the Sahara when he finds out more about Alland.
A very enjoyable read that is entertaining, hot, and left me hopeful that Jay and Alland might have a shared future.
