Insightful!

Helped me understand the dire need of Muslims becoming financially wealthy so that they can better impact the Ummah. Packed with concise yet powerful stories about business successes and failures to learn from.

Having a lot of wealth is thought of in a negative way in the Muslim world, but this book helps to change that mindset.

বইয়ের নাম দেখে মনে হতে পারে যে, এই বইয়ে মনে হয় কীভাবে বিলিয়নিয়ার হওয়া যায় বা কোটিপতি হওয়া যায় এ বিষয়ে বলা হয়েছে। কিন্তু আসলে তা নয়।

এ বইয়ে স্পেসিফিক কিছু মাইন্ডসেট এর ব্যাপারে আলোকপাত করা হয়েছে। কীভাবে গৎবাঁধা চিন্তা থেকে বের হয়ে আরও বৃহৎ পরিসরে চিন্তা করা যায়। মুসলিম সমাজের চিন্তাধারা ব্যবসার প্রতি অনেক সংকীর্ণ হয়ে গেছে। এর থেকে বের হয়ে এসে ছোট থেকেই ব্যবসায়িক মাইন্ডসেট গড়ে তোলার প্রয়োজনীয়তা এবং পরিবার থেকে সাপোর্ট দেয়া ইত্যাদি বিষয়ে বিভিন্ন উদাহরণ এবং কেস স্টাডির মাধ্যমে আলোচনা করা হয়েছে।

ব্যবসার মাধ্যমে মানুষের, সমাজের বিভিন্ন সমস্যার সমাধান করা যায়, মানুষের উপকারে আসা যায়। ইসলাম থেকে, রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম এবং সাহাবীদের থেকে আমরা বাই ডিফল্ট ব্যবসায়িক মানসিকতার অনেক উপকারি রিসোর্স পেয়ে যাই। ম্যানেজমেন্ট বিষয়ে, কাস্টমারদের সাথে আচরণ, কর্মীদের সাথে ব্যবহার, উপার্জিত অর্থের ব্যাবহার ইত্যাদি অনেক কিছু। বর্তমানে ব্যবসার ক্ষেত্রে দেখা যায় অমুসলিমরাই সুন্নাহ’র অনেককিছু অনুসরণ করে, অথচ আমরা মুসলিমরাই আজ সুন্নাহ’র প্রয়োগ থেকে অনেক দূরে সরে গেছি। ফলে আমাদের ব্যবসায় বারাকাহ কমে গেছে।

১২২ পৃষ্ঠার ছোট বই। লেখক, খুরাম মালিক। পড়ে ওভারল ভালো লেগেছে। বইয়ের একটা উক্তি দিয়ে শেষ করছি,
“মিলিয়নিয়াররা নিজেদের আর্থিক স্বাধীনতা তৈরি করে। তারা ভালো গাড়ির মালিক হয়, বাড়ির মালিক হয়। অর্থাৎ মিলিয়নিয়াররা নিজের দুনিয়া বদলায়। আর বিলিয়নিয়াররা বদলে দেয় সারা পৃথিবী।”

Most of the books of this genre don't explain the work process. They only put together chapters after chapters without holding any clear concept and understanding. Here in this book, the topics and discussions are limited, but everything is put down in detail holding a clear and composed idea. You almost won't have questions after finishing any of the chapters. I loved this short but wide inside book.

I appreciate the idea behind the book but it fails in my opinion to deliver. However, there aren't many books on the topic and the author has a good aim. I appreciate his work and concern.
