Dominic “Dig” DiGiacomo is looking to make some changes. After an almost career-ending injury, he’s ready to get serious about winning a championship belt, and nothing is going to distract him from meeting that goal. Well, nothing except DS Fight Club’s sassy new manager, Nanda Maldonado.
Fernanda Maldonado came to Atlanta for one thing and one thing only: a fresh start away from the drama and danger of her old life in New Jersey. Nanda is determined to follow the rules this time, and her number one rule is: Don’t date a Fighter.
When Dig proves too tempting for Nanda to resist, she propositions him, warning him in advance that he’s merely “scratching an itch.” But one night with Nanda is enough to hook Dig, who gets frustrated when she insists on keeping him at arm’s length afterwards.
Unfortunately, Nanda’s past bad decisions affect her new life in Atlanta, and when her ex’s enemies track her to DS Fight Club, Dig will do anything to make sure Nanda stays safe.
Josie Kerr is a transplanted West Texan living on the edge of semi-profoundly rural Georgia, a.k.a. the southernmost edge of the northernmost county in Metro Atlanta.
She has an M.Ed. in Secondary English Education, but discovered that she hated high school more the second time than she did the first, so she decided to meld her love of technology with her education background and became an Instructional Designer. When not writing articles about how to fire someone without getting sued or why you should really not apply for jobs using your SexxyStud99@aol.com email address, she writes steamy romance novels that feature grown-up Heroes and Heroines.
This was a great book. I was drawn in by the characters and personalities from the beginning. I voluntarily received and am reviewing an advanced reader copy. Nanda has been out through the wringer by her ex, Gene. After the last experience, her brother takes her back to Atlanta with him to live while things settle down. There is definitely a lot of chemistry between Dom and Nanda, but she has sworn off fighters. After becoming good friends, they have a weekend of fun, but he has to train for an upcoming fight and she doesn't want to be a distraction. With lost of scary twists and turns...things finally work out for the best for Nanda....but will her and her brother stay in Atlanta or move back up north and go back to work at the gym where she use to work? Must read to find out all the details and what happens with this hot and steamy story.
I loved Dominick and Fernanada's story. It gives you the emotional feels. I felt like I was Nanda waiting for the man to pI'll his head out of his rear. I can't wait for more from the DS Fight Club Crew.
This. Book. If you are a lover of fighter romance, or a lover of fighters, then you need this book in your life.
Nanda is a down on her luck 36 yr old woman. She's just went through one of the worst experiences of her life. The man she thought loved her pretty much set her up to take a beating. Her brother comes to rescue her and take her back to Atlanta where he trains fighters. Enter Dig. That sexy as hell fighter. Who is as cocky as the day is long. Loves women. Loves karaoking. And. Has taken a liking to Nanda.
This book had me falling in love with characters. It was sexy as hell. It has fighting. It has love. Another amazing job by Josie. She truly captures an audience with these books. I can't wait til the next one comes!
Trouble is still following Junior's little sis... Some ends get tied up while others are still hanging. I don't do spoilers, so you just have to read to find out. I am looking forward to everyone's favorite Cutman's story.
