Stuck on You
A hilarious love story for anyone in search of a happy ending.
At last, it’s the day of the interview, and Sara absolutely must get the job. It’s two years since she graduated, and she's had little success in her career or her personal life. Much to her dismay she is desperately late, teetering on her heels, soaking wet and out of breath by the time she arrives at the offices of Inside Look magazine.
Things are going from bad to worse and when the receptionist tells her the job has already been given to someone else, Sara tries to slip away without being noticed. The leads were so cliche. I mean, the premise isn't something new but I didn't find the characters particularly likable.

Firstly, i really loved the cover. It draws you in with its summery feel, a beautiful bright Yellow.
Stuck on You is about Sara and Daniel. When Sara turns up to a job interview for Inside Look Magazine, late, soaking wet, and looking a mess, she is swifty told by the receptionists that the job has been given to someone else. Trying to keep all her dignity Sara, walks away and steps into the lift. She finds herself sharing the space with hunky famous male model Daniel Gant. When they get stuck and Daniel suffers a panic attack, Sara acts quicky to calm him down!. I laughed out loud with what she did and i wont spoil it, so you have to read it for yourself.
After the event, Sara thinks she has seen the last of Daniel, but when he tracks her down and offers to take her for dinner she thinks all her Christmas's have come at once and cant quiet believe he would be interested in plain old her.
With Daniel appearing on the cover of every magazine, his photograph everywhere, invites to red carpet events and the talk of the town, Sara realises there is more to him than meets the eye and gets to know the real Daniel Gant.
I really enjoyed how their relationship developed and they seemed to understand each other. I felt at times Sara just needed to chill, she could see he was interested but still she played it down that she wasnt good enough for him!. Come on, where is the girl power?. I wanted to shout - Just take it for what it is!. Patricia Mar wrote an interesting love story and brought the characters to life. A great read.

This is a cute piece of fluff that was perfect for an afternoon in the garden. Sara and Daniel are meant to be and this is all about getting them there. Thanks to netgalley for the ARC_ this isn't deep nor is it serious but it's a well written and cheery read.

The book covers the relationship between Sara and Daniel, starting with how they meet, how they get to know each other, evolve as a couple and how they react when faced with different obstacles. Daniel is a very successful model and spends his life traveling from place to place and taking part in a lot of photo shoots in extraordinary places. On the other hand, Sara is struggling to find a job and prove to her family she can maintain her financial independence.
The story is told on the third person, but follows Sara’s life and emotions. We do not get to see Daniel’s point, though the author has done a great job in giving him the ability to express his feelings loud and clear. Also, the way the two characters meet is a memorable scene, full of funny actions. Sara is a lovely young woman, Daniel a public person with a hidden private life, but the way their dialogue flows, the way they act around each other is as natural as can be found outside of the covers.
Daniel has always been in the spotlight. Either the pictures from his latest photo shoot or images from the last social event he attended, he was always on the covers of magazines. Still, he keeps away from prying eyes the things he loves most, his true personality, his failures or disappointments in life. Surprised by how natural Sara acted around him, he decides to get to know her better. He is willing to open up all his private moments and share them with her. Will this be enough?
Sara is looking for a relationship close to perfection. She has tried to find her perfect guy, but until now, none of them reached her standards. Her bad luck in finding a job did not do well to her self-esteem either. So when she meets the perfect model Daniel, she does not have such high hopes, even if he promises to call her. Imagine her surprise when the guy not only calls, but does whatever is necessary to convince her to accept his diner invitation. I can say that most of the issues they have come from her insecurities. She believes she’s not good looking enough for him and that her low (or lack of) interest in the fashion industry will be the two things that will separate them. But she is not at all overreacting, she is not the whiny type of female character. I mean, I would feel the same if my boyfriend were super-hot model with his picture everywhere!
I liked the book very much. It is a clean love story that brings butterflies and gets you dreaming. The sweet and easy ways in which Sara and Daniel get to understand each other’s fears and emotions was very well put in words. I recommend it with all my heart.

Sara is admiring a photo of male supermodel, Daniel Gant, in one of her younger sister, Virginia’s, celebrity magazines. They both laugh about how sexy he is and what a great body he has. The next day Sara shows up for her interview at a gossip magazine an hour late and when she’s turned away because the candidate has already been chosen, she leaves, gets on an elevator, and gets stuck–with Daniel Gant. Unfortunately for Daniel, he suffers from claustrophobia and starts having a panic attack. The only way that Sara can subdue him is by kissing him. And, then the story starts.
The beginning of Stuck on You has a lot of promise. The dialogue is snappy and the characters have fun with one another. Again, this is another case in which the blurb uses the word “hilarious” (publicists or whomever is responsible for writing these book blurbs: cut it out unless a book is truly, truly hilarious. It raises expectations. Hilarous means: hysterically funny. If you’re not rolling on the floor (or maybe just laughing out loud a lot would suffice) while reading it, don’t describe a book that way. Please!) The beginning of the book is funny, but hilarious not so much.

I didn’t like it. I loved the cover though. And there is a small amount of humor. However...
I couldn’t connect with the characters and a lot of the time I was confused, one minute Sara was the narrator then it went on to “the girl” or “They smiled” (I mean who is talking here??) then Daniel's point of view. Too confusing.
I found the characters quite uninteresting and had no uniqueness to them.
Sara was a romantic but also quite put off.
Daniel was well lived and shared his experiences with Sara but I felt the connection was forced or weak.
I didn’t get the why Rome was where the story is set, there was no real mention of the landscape or anything to link it other than saying they were in Rome.
All up I don’t think this was a very good story and not very well written. I wanted it over but I continued to the end. I will not be continuing on with any of the authors future works

This book was a lot of fun! The characters are all very likeable and feel very real. When overcome by cautiousness, Sara shows a true vulnerability that I found very endearing. Daniel is portrayed as one of those celebrities who is desperate to find someone to show his real persona under all the glamour.
I would have especially liked if there had been more Italian in italics, or acknowledgement of which language the characters were speaking in - being set mostly in Italy, the book did lend itself to more of this but unfortunately the reader is left to figure out (or assume) which languages the characters speak.

Good and enjoyable book. It's fluff but I still found it a fun read. It isn't hilarious but I did find myself smiling. The characters are pleasant and entertaining. Also the book was originally written in Italian so Rome is a natural location setting, and at times it seems as if some parts are lost in translation. If you have time and looking for a cute romance to read, I'd say give the book a go.

This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. This book will keep you reading long into the night. This was such a great read and full of surprises. When this book started off in an elevator that had broken down, I thought it was a cute, unique idea. The famous model stuck in an elevator and melted down from claustrophobia. When Sara grabs Daniel and kisses him to calm him down, I thought I was in for a fun story.
That is not what I got.
Sara is neurotic and insecure. I get it, I couldn't date a male model, but I don't think anyone wants to read 300 pages of my thoughts. Most romance novels let us get in both characters' heads ,so we get to see both of their insecurities, but this book is told from watching just Sara. I do not understand why sometimes the author wrote " the girl." That was weird.
I honestly halfway through gave up this book, but Daniel brought me back. He really is a wonderful guy, and I wanted to see where his story would go.
I spent most of the rest of the book yelling at Sara. She drove me nuts. I'm glad that Daniel loved her because she was more than I could handle. The climax seems to think that sonehoe they were both at fault. Where was any of this his fault? Because he said he would understand if it was her job? Seriously? That is what she cries about the rest of the book. Ok.
Anyway, happy ending! Yay! The epilogue is adorable. Nice tie-in with another part of the book

It took me a bit to realize this was actually set in Rome with characters that are natively speaking Italian! The translation to English is for the most part seamless, so it wasn't obvious at all. Once I got past that confusion it was easier to follow. I found the heroine immensely relatable. I totally sympathized with her issues, tbh, and was happy that the hero finally thought it through and understood what she was trying to tell him.
