In Search of Truth and Love is a quest to find, understand, and live by the principles that govern life. The search*begins by understanding truth and its corollaries, such as that truth is independent of time; that truth can be learned; that eternal values, laws and commandments that joy and evil exist because truth and that suffering exists because eternal laws exist. The journey continues as we learn the process by which true principles are discovered. Probing deeper, we gain insights into the nature of God and Jesus Christ, their nature and responsibilities to mankind, and the glorious plan of salvation. And finally we discover the purpose of life; the meaning of charity and wisdom; the importance of the personal perfecting process; and the value of the Church and the family.

This would be a good book for new members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. But for me, it was just okay. Not a lot of new stuff, just basics.
