False Dialogue

Rate this book
Seventeen-year-old Betsy Lane is a hardworking high school senior who waits tables at a small eatery in a picturesque town. Cheerful and honest, she is happily going about another day at work—until notorious hoodlum Duane Washington and his two friends sit in her section.

As Betsy bravely attempts to rebuff Duane’s unwanted advances, she has no idea that Dan Icor, a business leader with secret abilities, is watching from a distance. When Dan and Sheriff Jack West are forced to intercede in an attempt to save Betsy’s innocence, their actions trigger a series of catastrophic events that include a brutal attack, an abduction, a dramatic rescue, and a killing. But just when Dan thinks the crisis has ended, he is led down a new path where he must utilize his gifted warrior talents amid a chaotic political environment where nothing is certain.

False Dialogue continues the gripping tale of one man’s journey as he learns to rely on his special abilities to battle hoodlums and rescue those in need.

The only book I have ever snuck time to read at work

I have read a few of author Travis Pearson’s books before and related how he was now my favorite author . False Dialogue solidified that opinion. To me this was his best work ever and I can’t wait to read book 3 of the trilogy “ Deception “ .

While a work of fiction anyone who reads “ False Dialogue “ will have a much better appreciation about the way the World works in real life . This book expands on the characters from “ The Detour “ and thrusts them and their whole town into unfortunate circumstances . False Dialogue covers topics people will find relative . Topics that this Country has grappled with in reality in recent years . Without giving the story away this is why I believe everyone can appreciate this book.

False Dialogue revolves around an unfortunate situation that the administration in control tries to manipulate and capitalize on for their gain. This thrusts all the characters you have become attached to from “ The Detour “ into a type of Hell no one should have to go through and it endangers their future but that of their whole town . In the midst of all the chaos I didn’t see how the characters , who now seem like friends to the reader , could save the situation . I found myself cheerleading for them like I would family even though it seemed they were all doomed . I have become particularly fond of not only Dan Icor and his wife Jennifer but also Jack West the town Sheriff ( oh we find out so many surprises about Jack’s past that forge who he is in the book ) . In my mind I find myself fantasizing about who should or would be perfect to play them in a Movie version.

In summation my advice is run , don’t walk , out to buy this book . I liked it so much that I can’t wait to read Deception but more than that I can’t I can’t wait to reread all 3 . I have given copies of these books to friends so that is the best endorsement I think anyone can give .

Great story! Foreshadowed events that actually happened. I thought it was amazing how the author portrayed our media as no longer objective but instruments of propaganda. They advance a dialogue a False Dialogue and don't care who gets hurt. I thought it was a very interesting adult book and look at our current leaders and politicians. The world could use a moral unwavering hero like Dan Icor! Also great setup for the end of the trilogy.

Falls dialogue was quite a nail-biter! It had action, romance, and a lot of surprises! It's a book you want to read. Reading these trilogies is great because after book 1 you want more, which makes you want to read book 2 and 3. To all you readers out there you will not be disappointed it's an excellent book to read.
