A 40 Something's Dream

Rate this book
Radiah Brown was born with many gifts. The gift of love and caring for those close to her, and the gift to sing.

As a 40 something curvy single woman, most of her time was spent either working or taking care of her ailing mother. After her mother's stroke, Radiah knew she had to step up and take care of her as much as she could.

But there was something inside Radiah that wanted more from her life, and she found herself wanting to chase her dreams of becoming a singer. Always one to shun the spotlight , she reluctantly found herself on the Golden Voice as a contestant.

But what she never would have expected was how much the audience loved her, or how much attention she got from one of the most notoriously mean judges, Cyril Evanston.
Something about her strength, her resilience, and her resolve drew Cyril to her. Cyril was the most hated judge on the show, but he couldn't help but feel attracted to Radiah.

While they both find more in common than they could have ever thought, their love grows as the competition progresses.

But Cyril and Radiah can't predict the drama and heartbreak that waits for them in the shadows, but can only hope that their love is strong enough to help them both pull through it all.

Three stories in one book.

The first one good. The second I had read before and it was okay. Do nurses do what she did after helping him with his recover at his friend's house? I think not. The third one, what can I say about the third except too narrative. This story has more thoughts than conversation between the main characters which was boring.
