Still enjoying this series although this particular book feels too much like a catalogue of disasters. It's one thing after another with a bit too many coincidences (for example, after wading through sewage the group, by chance, happen to find themselves in a place with working showers and a pile of clean clothes that fit them!). I also feel that when there's no let up from the pace then that actually starts to feel "normal" and you don't get the same sense of danger, tenseness or suspense. It's also obvious that there's another book which means you don't really get a complete ending to the story. That said, I'll be reading the final one ...

One of my favourite books. I couldn't stop turning the pages. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone. I wish the book was longer.

It was a good book, but I felt like it was a lot slower pace than the last two books. It didn’t really grab my attention like the other books did.

Liking the mix0media approach and an exotic destination on the journey, Turkey this time and its important sites, like Hagia Sophia told in detail within the alchemy narrative plus it feels tense because the deadline is almost up and you can see it happening.
