Sushant Singh is Associate Editor of the INDIAN EXPRESS. He served for two decades with the Indian army, including several stints in Jammu and Kashmir and as a military observer with the United Nations
Though a short read but a thoroughly crafted and well researched book. It delves more deeply in procedural details and preparedness than ground action by Indian military. But still every bit of it is worth the read.
I Loved reading this book. A Quick read . I will probably read it again .It is interesting to know about the operations that are less spoken about . Not much of facts and figures are portrayed, but it covers the overall happenings of Operation Cactus.
Though the topic of the book is quite interesting since not many are aware of this operation, the book overall is just an ordinary read. It doesn't capture much details about the operation. This book is written as a short-read and doesn't do proper justice to the readers excitement.
