Hi! My name is Anne Berkeley. I'm a full time cubicle dweller, wife and mother of two beautiful children. I do all things creative. Photoshop, photography, scrapbooking, decorating, barbering, and I would like to think...writing.

I dream up most of my material during my seventy-five minute commute to work and home again. Some of it comes to fruition and other times it's edited out again. But I hope that what made the cut is worthy of note.

I write paranormal romance novels for adults. No not erotica. Though there are some steamy scenes. I'm working on several novels at the present. Yes, more than one. I jump back and forth as my mood dictates. It's the way I work best. Tempestuous, my first novel, released in 2012, Torrid in 2013 and Feral, the first of a new series in 2013. I'm working to complete Turbulent (Third and final novel for the Tempestuous series), a second novel for the Feral series, and two standalone novels. And yes, I work full time too, so please have patience, my plate is full.

In short, that's me. You can follow me on Facebook, Twitter and Goodreads. The links are below. And if you enjoyed my book, it would be appreciated immensely if you would consider leaving a review, or better yet, tell your friends and family.

Thanks for your support, Anne.

Again I absolutely loved Torrid. This is the best sequel to follow tempestuous.
I loved the characters in this book, and they are definitely still drool worthy.
I read Torrid in one day because I literally could not put it down.
Anne has written another exceptional book to add to the wonderful list she has going.
She is a very talented author, and an exceptional writer with a huge amount of talent.
I would definitely recommend Torrid. I have given 5 stars because it is worth it.
Congrats again Anne on another wonderful book.

I really enjoyed this second book in the series, but do feel you really must read the first one to understand what is going on in this one as there is quite a bit that is unexplained, assuming that you know about it already. I always read books in order anyway, but for those of you that may just pick this one up at random, thought you may need to know that the first book is quite essential reading.

Brynja is accepting her new position as Master of the Hunt and queen of the Athar throne quite and is readily accepting her new life as wife to Galinn, but her happiness is very short-lived. Turin, king of the elf cuirt, decides to claim Brynja as his bride, as betrothed by her father many years ago before his death. Galinn fights back against him, but things don't quite go to plan and Brynja has no choice but to go off with Turin and accept her place by his head, as reluctant as she is. I was hoping that Brynja would have been a bit stronger here and fought against Turin a bit more. I know it was the way of their world, but she grew up in the modern world and shouldn't have been so ready to accept her predicament.

Even though she doesn't want to be with Turin nor in his court, she copes the only way she knows how with everything that she has lost and basically goes into a depression. Not a good thing for her health at all, but eventually something happens that makes her and Turin both realise that what should have happened at the beginning to Galinn didn't really happen. Galinn had a secret plan, none of which Brynja knew about, but on which now changes absolutely everything.

She manages to return back to her proper role as the Master of the Hunt and after a great deal of persuasion, attention and time, she begins to forgive Galinn and starts to become the old Brynja once more. Galinn's plan was ingenious but at the same time very hurtful towards Bryn and I'm not sure I would have been able to forgive him so easily either.

The ending was a bit of a shocker - I did kind of guess what would happen, but it was a great cliffhanger for the next story in this series, which I can't wait to read. I did miss the sexy Gaelic accents though as the beserkir were not in this book as much as the first one.

My only issue with this book was that I wished there were more details for the major fight scenes between Galinn and Turin and when Turin went off as well. It was a bit of a surprise to find out that he had died when there were no real details about it.

I did receive this book free from the author in return for my honest receive and I would like to thank Anne for another great read. This is one series I know I will enjoy more and more with every book.

I LOVED this installment of the Tempestuous series!!! I was given a copy of this book in exchange for beta reading for this brilliant author(thank you very much!!!!)

This book was sooooooo exciting as the second book!! I found the depth of the characters and the plot twists thrilling! The first book was really good, this one was great!

Finding herself in a unique situation of having been placed in the custody of the Teine King she is forced to make decisions that will push her to make difficult choices.

I honestly don't want to put any spoilers in because this was such a great read! Beautifully written in vivid detail, I couldn't put this story down!

Can't wait to see what Mrs. Berkeley writes next!!!

I want to give this book 7 stars! I received this book for free from Ms. Berkeley in return for an honest review.
This book was Amazing!! I loved the first book and loved this one even more . I was so engrossed in book that I felt like I was feeling everything Brynja was feeling. I was so angry at Galinn for deceiving her and really didn't like Turin. I was happy Daniel stayed to watch over her and when the battle scene of the hunt was detailed I was so engrossed I could picture it all in my head and I was in awe. When Galinn reappeared I wanted to cry then I wanted to kill him! Men! Even berserkers. I'm anxiously awaiting 3rd book. I need to find out what happens!!
