5 spectacularly dirty, do love right, stars

Wilson Carter fell hard for Tabitha Leyton from the moment he set eyes on her. Their chemistry could be felt jumping right off the pages. Their journey was not an easy journey. They were forbidden. She was untouchable and he was unreachable .. until they weren't.

I first met Wilson in Hate F*@k: The Complete Story and instantly fell in love. The alpha who learned how to knit for a girl :) **swoon** He was a loner. He seemed to be more of an introvert than the rest of The Horus Group men. Well, I couldn't have pegged that one more wrong! There is not a single thing that is shy about Wilson Carter. He is sexy and commanding and endearing and what he wants, he gets .. eventually. Cue, Tabitha Leyton. The minute he steps in her hotel suite he's a goner. And lets just say that that night was epically hot and also seared in my heart forever.

Tabitha has a very complicated life with a very broken past. I knew this going into this book because I read Dirty: a prequel a few years back. Her past may be broken, but she is not. She's a strong complicated woman stuck in a situation that seems solid and concrete but as I mentioned before ... What Wilson wants ....

The end of the book ties together with some unfinished business we have left over from Hate F*@k, so it gets a little messy and suspenseful for a bit there but as a whole, it's a journey of two souls living in the dark until one day they met and saw the light <3

There's also a #secret at the end that you will DIE over but you gotta read the book to find out :)

Ainsley Booth takes a page out of today’s political headlines in Dirty Love, the third story in her sexy and intense Forbidden Bodyguards series. It centers around The Horus Group, men from several different backgrounds who make up a Washington, D.C. based private security firm. While providing bodyguard services is their main stated mission, behind the scenes they are also instrumental in removing big players from international crime syndicates. It’s in the course of one of their ongoing investigations that this story plays out.

Wilson Carter is the team’s cyber security and tech expert. He keeps to himself most of the time, but when he wants to let off steam, he has a place and a name for himself on the underground fighting circuit. And when he sets his sights on a woman, he’s all in. When the Horus Group’s investigation into a human trafficking ring leads them to Tabitha Leyton, singer-songwriter extraordinaire and a possible witness, Wilson can’t get her out of his mind. She’s a mystery he wants to unravel, one piece of clothing at a time.

Tabitha’s public persona masks her real life turmoil. A teenage runaway, she was found by Grant Derew who became her agent and propelled her to stardom. He also married her as a way to control her. A marriage in name only, Grant doesn’t care what or who she does on the side, and Tabitha has blithely used her bisexuality to live the life expected of a rock star. Wilson gets to her in a way that is both frightening and exhilarating. He’s the first man to look beyond the persona and see who she really is. A secret affair between them heats up as Tabitha goes on the road and Wilson finds ways to keep in touch whether by text, by phone, by camera or in person. But when the case he and his team are working on takes on some new dimensions, will Tabitha be caught in the crossfire?

Sexy, action packed, and exciting, this story is hard to put down! It’s got a timely plot that delves into a presidential election campaign, a white nationalist organization, and the seedy underside of the rock and roll world. The romance between Wilson and Tabitha starts out as a steamy sexual attraction but becomes more when they start to share more intimate emotional moments. The sex scenes are hot and dirty – just what I’ve come to expect from this author! The fact that Tabitha is married might give some readers pause initially but it’s clearly not a love match, nor is it something that Tabitha wants – for reasons, she can’t get a divorce. Wilson is not going to settle for that though – he knows something is up, that her past is too clean on the books, and he’s not above getting down and dirty to find out the truth and free her from her marriage to her controlling manager.

The scenes with the other Horus Group members feature that male camaraderie that’s lots of fun to read as they banter back and forth, while still having each other’s backs when it comes to serious business. The second half of the story, when the pieces start to fit together ups the suspense and the danger quotient, and there are some interesting characters that will hopefully make their way onto new book pages. I enjoyed every minute of this sexy thrill ride!

Oh my, these two were just….they were just……so deliciously strong shards of broken glass! There was something fragile yet strong with them both, and while whole, there were fragments of themselves that were still sharp and biting. That they met each other was chance, that they connected unrealistic, that they fit, undeniable. They were apart more than together, but the together they were was more than most people ever experience. They weren’t a storm of emotions, but a wide ocean with hidden depths and strong riptides, and I loved every moment of their story <3

I loved Wilson, but it took a while for Tabitha to grow on me. She was all kinds of messed, but Wilson fell for her and protected her until she was safe. Their relationship started weird and didn't get much better.

This is a super entertaining book with its elements of mystery, romance and good versus evil. The main characters, Tabitha Leyton, rock star and spy gadget guru Wilson Carter were introduced in the previous books in this series. This book is all about them and their relationship. The characters are very well developed, the writing flow exceptional, and the reader gets surprises as the story unfolds. This is a stand alone novel but characters from the previous two books are in this one.

LOVED IT!!! Well what can I say, Wilson definitely measured right up there with Cole. The chemistry that Wilson and Tabitha have was off the charts. I loved this story. The Horus Group is definitely loaded with some hot, steamy, amazing guys. Wilson was the perfect match of dominant and sweet. Ainsley killed it again with this story, she is definitely a one click author for me. Read this book, I promise you won't regret it.
5* read.

received an advanced reader copy from the author. All i can say is HOLY F*%K!!! what a riveting read, i couldnt put the book down!!! We got a glimpse of Wilson and Tabitha in the previous book that kept your interest peeked because you knew smtg would go down! There is more to both Tabitha and to Wilson then meets the eye. Tabitha is a superstar drowning in the sorrows of her past and Wilson is an enigma! Both know that "them" is a bad idea but cant help wanting and lusting after one another, even when sh$t hits the fan. Wilson wants to protect Tabitha at all costs...even from Grant, her manager and Tabitha thinks she doesnt deserved to be saved. Wilson, being the hawt super techy spy that he is, uncovers a dangerous secret that will only lead to destruction. Will he be able to help Tabitha? Can he distinguish between work and love? Will Tabitha tell Wilson of her horrid past what whats against her? Like a said, a riveting book full of drama, intrigue, bad guys, lust, deviousness and sadness! Another great job Ainsley!!!

Hopelessness and failure is all Tabitha has known in her personal life. Wilson was optimistic in his youth; life has turned him disenchanted. That apathy changes to tingling awareness, for both, upon meeting! And when they get together, passion ignites to a scorching, fulfilling gratification! They fill the needs in each other. They yearn to be together. What stands in their way?
Fanning may be required cause the heat between Wilson and Tabitha is on High! The characters aren't only introduced but developed, the story isn't only told but sold! Enjoyed cover to cover!

Tabitha Leyton is not perfect. She is actually the best example of perfectly imperfect. On the outside she is beautiful and on top of the world rocking the charts and touring the world. On the inside she's broken and scared and the only one that sees that she needs someone to see past her hard shell and into her heart is the one and only...Wilson

Wilson has his own secrets but he can't help but figure out all of Tabitha's and make her his the only way he knows how.

The real question is can two broken people that live their loves hiding who they are finally find solace in each others arms? Read and find out!

I voluntarily reviewed this advanced review copy of this book.

This book was really good. I loved both Wilson and Tabitha together but the star of the book to me was Tabitha. I loved everything about her because although she was scared...alone... and at times broken she never just gave up. She kept fighting... at times in small ways winning small wars even though she lost the bigger battle...but I continued to loved that fight that she had in her.

One thing that can not be denied in this book is the explosive heat. I read the last book in this series and when I got the preview of this book at the end, I kind of thought it may go into some M/F/M action but sadly it stayed M/F. Now you may be asking yourselves if I loved this book so much why didn't I give it 5 stars. The only complaint I have about this book is that in the end I still had a couple of questions I wanted answered.

Overall, I loved the book and can not wait for the next book in the series!

LOVED loved loved Wilson and Tabitha. I wasn't sure at first of Tabitha....I honestly was gonna stop reading at one point as she starts dout on the wrong foot with me...but the more and more we got to know her and the more and more of her and Wilson's interactions....holy hotness!

This author can write, not just sex BUT the most delicious sensual and erotic sex with SOOOOOO much meaning! As always great storyline, great characters and yeah...the intimacy was just so super duper spot on:)

Ainsley Booth has done it again with this series of books. These can be read again and again and out of order. We first met Wilson in Cole's book and I loved his character in that book. In Dirty Love Wilson is back in all his shady glory. And I mean that in the best way. I had such fun reading about his sneaky ways of getting what he wants. I was gifted this book for a fair and honest review.

Sorry to the Tabitha’s of the world but I cannot picture anyone other than a 90 year old knitter when I hear that name. That threw me off the entire book and I honestly forget her name over and over again. The book jumps right in with no world building and was overwhelming in my opinion. Wish I hadn’t read it

I really enjoy this world. The spice scenes were great, the plot was a good story, but the character development was lacking. I feel like this one got written in a rush. I just want to know more about Wilson. I feel like the question of why has not been answered and he was my favorite mysterious character from the previous 2 books. I generally liked the book but it almost feels like I missed him.

I had to finish it, it was one of those books. So I burnt the midnight oil. Well worth it.

Wilson and Tabitha's story. She's a rock star and he's a hacker.

So what I loved. The characters. Both are broken, although we get a lot more insight into why Tabitha's broken. Wilson remains something of a mystery even at the end of the book. The sexy times. The inclusion of knitting (although that's probably just me).

What I struggled with at times was the plot. There were quite a few twists and turns, and its been a while since I read the previous book in the series so I struggled to recall the story from that. It would have been helpful to have a bit more elaboration and reference to the past. There were some calls back to the plot developed in Hate Fuck, but I could have used more.

I loved Wilson and Tabitha together. Both are broken, but they fall for each other fast and Wilson will do anything to protect her. I really liked how they handled everything and couldn't believe some of the things that Grant had done to Tabitha in the past. Neither of them were looking for each other and were surprised when they found love, so I think that their story had the perfect ending.

I can't wait to see what happens in the next book.

There are way too many things that don’t make sense. I can't take it anymore. I’m also not comfortable with Wilson’s methods for taking care of bad guys. This series has been a miss.

Characters: Wilson is a white hacker, crisis management firm founder, and former spy or special ops. Tabitha is a 25 year old bisexual white singer-songwriter. This is set in DC and Seattle, along with tour stops.

Content notes: emotionally and physically abusive manager , past grooming and child sexual abuse , past teen pregnancy and miscarriage , infertility (FMC believes her bad C-section led to the inability to get pregnant), reproductive assault (FMC thought she’d been getting B-12 shots but really she was getting depo-provera shot without her knowledge, as arranged by manager), sexual misconduct (FMC strips naked in front of MMC and his partner while they’re conducting an interview), past forced marriage (manager’s parents insisted he marry FMC after she got pregnant and got a judge to sign off on an exception for the pregnancy as she was too young), underground fighting, physical assault, surveillance, blackmail, MMC breaks into FMC’s hotel suite as does secondary character, abuse of power (MMC sets up secondary character for gambling and other crimes he didn’t commit), MMC tracks pedophiles online, misogyny, slut-shaming, sex worker shaming, white supremacist secondary character, racism, secondary character was a 19 year old au pair while her eventual husband’s then-wife was dying of breast cancer (they married three months after she died), sex crime/human trafficking/abduction case, FMC ran away from home at 15, on page sex, role play, mirror sex, phone sex, voyeurism, exhibitionism, anal play, past orgies, past drug use, alcohol, inebriation, excessive drinking, toxic masculinity, casual ableism, gendered pejoratives, gender essentialist language, ableist language

Dirty Love is the third book in Ainsley Booth’s Forbidden Bodyguards series and this time it is Wilson’s time to shine. This is a series that keeps getting better and better with each new release. New characters. Old characters. It doesn't matter who they are, if Ainsley Booth puts them in the story, you will instantly fall in love with them. All books are stand-alone reads but each brings a different perspective to these wonderful characters and their stories.

Wilson Carter hides in the shadows, skirting along a number of peripheries until he meets enigmatic singer Tabitha Leyton in her hotel room as part of a PRISM investigation for the Horus Group. Immediately he recognises multiple layers to Tabitha, which she is sex and secrets personified, and an instant and undeniable attraction begins.
They are two people who were never looking for love, who found something even deeper, more meaningful than they had ever known before.

Sensual and passionate love scenes mixed with toe-curling drama and suspense made Dirty Love a favourite of the series for me. There isn't a page that's not full of emotion or heart. This scorching HOT page-turner will leave you gasping for air and craving for what happens next. Tabitha and Wilson are a match made in heaven! Their banter, their sexy as sin chemistry exploded off of every single page.

I can’t wait to read the next Forbidden Bodyguards story!

For everyone who's ever felt alone. That is the dedication at the beginning of this novel and it is such a poignant one. Wilson and Tabitha are very alone and mostly of their own desire. They have been through some horrible tragedies and keep everyone at arms length. A necessary tactic for their own survival. They seem to recognize in each other the same loneliness and survival instinct and despite the fact that Tabitha's life in particular is so messed up, they can't help but want to be together.

This story introduces another level of political and criminal intrigue for the Horus Group to unravel. This instalment gives us more information but just leaves us with more questions. I can't wait for more books in this series so I can find out what happens to all these corrupt people. The romance with Tabitha and Wilson is a standalone so don't worry about cliff hangers.

I love that these individuals, despite being messed up, own their mistakes. I love that they realize that patience and forgiveness are necessary to make a relationship work. This is a very enjoyable book I highly recommend reading.

Find yourself and Love where you least expect it! Add a sexy bodyguard and OH MY!

Ainsley Booth has done it again! Another great addition to the Forbidden Bodyguards series.

Wilson Carter is that bad boy that every women secretly wants to meet just once in her life. He's tough, sexy, secretive and can keep you safe no matter how far away he is. Tabitha Leyton is the women that all of us secretly want to be like. Famous and a star. However, like the rest of us, things are not exactly as they seem from the outside. There are things that even Tabitha may not know until Wilson brings them to light.

SO how exactly did these two meet? Can their relationship survive through all of the twists and turns that pop up in their worlds? You have to read it to find out the answer to these two questions plus some that you may ask along their journey.

Make sure that you have a lot of time when you begin to read this because you won't be able to put it down. Can't wait for the next Forbidden Bodyguard story.

I received a gifted copy of this book and am VOLUNTARILY leaving this awesome review!

❤️🌼🔥IT’S ALWAYS THOSE QUIET ONES YOU HAVE TO WATCH❤️🌼🔥
In the previous books of this series (and if you haven’t read HATE F*@K and BOOTY CALL, stop, now, and do that), I pictured Wilson as a nerdy IT guy....What a surprise to find out Wilson may be my favorite of The Horus Group (Elite DC fixers...think Olivia Pope on Scandal) so far....There’s just something about him...HOT!! ❤️🌼🔥
Smart and sexy Wilson Carter, the computer genius (he takes hacking to a whole new level) and partner, Jason Evans, have to interview rock star Tabitha Leyton for a case, and Wilson and Tabitha have an immediate connection and begin a relationship almost immediately.....(and I have to say, Wilson is no computer nerd...he’s also a cage fighter, and he’s just hot)...After Wilson is already “all in” in this relationship, he discovers Tabitha is in a marriage on paper (due to blackmail) to her sleazy manager, Grant, and, because it’s what he does, Wilson decides to “fix” it....But the deeper he digs into Grant’s life, the more he realizes Tabitha needs to be protected, and Grant needs to be in jail...❤️🌼🔥

Dirty Love by Ainsley Booth is book three in her Forbidden Bodyguard series. Wilson is the Brainiac of the Horus Group, if you need info he will find it by using his computer hacking skills. Tabitha is a singer in a Rock Band that the Horus Group would like to use to help catch a bad guy but she is unwilling to help for fear of what will happen to her. On Top of that she is in a bad relationship that she cannot get out of. Wilson uses his magic to show that he can protect her no matter where he is located. Wilson wants the girl, is obsessed with the girl but does he get her in the end? You will have to read the book to find out! This book was awesome with lots of twist and turns! This book is VERY STEAMY! Just put it this way, some scenes will leave you hot and bothered. There is some violence and a lot of sexual content. This book was very well written and was a very quick and easy read. I absolutely loved this book and I have loved the whole series so far. I highly recommend it this book!

This is the 3rd book in the series. I have enjoyed each book a little less.

PROS: I liked the characters, even liked the premise of the story. This writer can write good sex scenes and this kink is not the same as everyone else writes.

CONS: way too many holes in the story. I am happy to give an author some wiggle room, but nothing was explained. Why the stalker after 3 years? What prompted it? After being strategic and a player her entire life, why did her mother crack? That so didn’t make sense and wasn’t even needed in the story. Another useless tidbit was the reporter. Are you kidding me? How did Wilson not know who she was? Why add this to the story if you can’t successfully weave this believably?

There's a Story Somewhere in Here

Tabitha and Wilson's story is not really believable. Wilson is the archetypal super macho character who is also a first rate hacker and Tabitha is supposedly a messed up, on again-off again homosexual singer/pop star who is emotionally bullied by her crooked, domineering husband/manager. Aside from the cliched main characters, the numerous typos and dropped words was very distracting and took away from what should have been an overall pleasurable reading experience.

Wilson, the mysterious computer hacker of the Horus Group, gets his romance when he stalks, them rescues the beautiful Tabitha Leyton. Tabitha is a successful rock star being held hostage in plain sight by mistakes of her past. She didn’t know how much she needed a “Wilson” in her life until he showed up undercover on a Horus Group assignment.

I just LOVED their long distance, covert love affair. So forbidden and sultry! Their story is full of intrigue and suspense. I think I liked that more than the erotic parts, some of which I had to skim over for being too long and repetitive.
