Kaz, I don't even know where to start with Kaz. A rocker, a lover, a protector, a fighter...all rolled up in one swoon worthy package.
SL Scott has outdone herself once again. Her story telling is amazing and makes it easy for you to get lost in the words and feel like you are there with the characters in their world. You feel their heart ache and you feel their triumph. 5+ stars!!

Ohhhh myyyyy life.....Kaz freaking Fabian.

HO-LY HELL!! This book was everything I wanted and didn't expect all rolled up in a sexy, sinful package. Every book in this series has gone from strength to strength. I've loved each and every book more and more. The Revolution continues that cycle. SL's writing is stronger, the story telling solid, the characters, perfect. EVERYTHING was PERFECT.
I expected to fall for Kaz. I expected to love him. What I hadn't expected was how quick I fell for him. Jeez, the man just overtook every single sense, stole my heart and devoured me whole. He's dangerous to the heart. His words were like molten lava, flowing through me, burning himself into every part of me.
Lara was the best counterpart for Kaz. I had no idea that Lara's story would break me as much as it did, but damn, the heartbreak and devastation was HEAVY! Kaz & Lara's relationship was on fire, wickedly hot and soul searing. These two ingrained themselves in me and didn't want to move. I breathed with them, I felt with them, I loved with them and I also hurt with them.
The whole premise of The Revolution was intense, deep and at times, hard to process. The twists and turns that SL threw out were gutting. I had no idea this story would go where it did, I had no idea that the hurt would hurt as much as it did. I want to say Lara was reckless but when you read the love her and Kaz share you'll totally understand it. I never got to the point where I felt mad at her, I just wanted to help her.
The Revolution is a heart breaking, soulful read that stole my breath and left me in a daze. Days later and I'm still feeling this book. Prepare yourselves for one hell of a journey because this is one of the best!

Let's start with the fact that S.L. Scott has quickly become one of my favorite authors! I absolutely loved The Resistance, the first book in the Hard to Resist series, and this story of Kaz and Lara is no different.
Kaz Fabian is a sexy rock star who is swoon worthy beyond belief that is not afraid to put his heart on the line! Lara is in a relationship she's not sure is working out and is not immune to Kaz and his charm. They've known each other for about a year now and have been friendly, but is there more? Even though Kaz is a famous rockstar who has many female admirers, there is something sincere and gentle about him that is so lovable. He knows he can get any woman he wants, but he doesn't act out on every whim.
Lara gets in a relationship situation that is very difficult to get out of and Kaz does not hesitate to be there for her every step of the way, even though this may cause him heartache in the process. This is a great story of "family" and those coming together for the ones they love. The emotional feels in this story are high and you wonder how you will survive when it comes to an end!
This is a must read series for 2016!

This is my first book by S.L. Scott and it certainly won't be my last.
I was mesmerised from the start to finish.
S.L. Scott knows how to transfer emotions to paper, and this one was one hell of an emotional roller coaster.

Loved Kaz
Hot rockstar so swoon worthy I loved Kaz & Laras story.

And there it is one of the swoon worthy moments Kaz delivers as he declares his love for Lara.
This is a journey of growing love with hindernces along the path. A plot filled with hotness, angst,drama and hidden pasts.
The Revolution is a page turner and I couldn’t get enough.
"Our love is unique Lara. Our love is a world of undiscovered prisms fighting to be seen for the first time. Together there is only good".
Told in dual pov's leading to hea, I'm certainly looking forward to more in this series and intended on reading the books I have missed.
I read book one and that also blew me away, how could I forget the boys of The Resistance, such hot and great characters and I loved S.L Scott's writing style that balances out the plot brilliantly with drama,angst and hot moments in all the right places.

The Revolution by S.L. Scott is a stand alone novel and fourth book in her Hard To Resist series. Yet another angst ridden, heart achingly beautiful story of two people fighting against circumstances, difficult pasts and other obstacles in order to find their way into each other's arms, lives, and hearts. Kaz & Lara's story is a tough one. It's like missed connections and lost opportunities until finally the timing seems right. It isn't but they get another step closer. I love S.L. Scott's writing, I love this band in general and I can't wait to read more from her.

His words are poetic. He's protective to those he loves. And did I say a sexy rock star? Well yes he's that too.
Lara is caught up in a relationship that she's trying to navigate out of. All the while trying to protect her friends and the man she see's she could have a future with. When that situation gets out of control she ends up in the middle of a tornado that she can't get control of.
It may not always be as easy as it seems to escape.
This was a great story and a terrific read. I can't get enough of those rocker boys.

Kaz and Lara’s story will grab you from page one and I promise, you will not be able to put this book down. Kaz and Lara will grab a hold of you and will demand that you devour every word. Kaz is everything that you could possibly want in a book boyfriend. He’s sexy. He’s a musician. He is confident. He is kind. He is patient. He is the entire package and then some. I couldn’t have picked a better partner for Lara if I tried. And Lara…She is an amazing friend and cares deeply for those who she lets into her life. While, I didn’t agree with some of her actions, I totally understood where she was coming from and why she made the decisions that she did.
Now, as far as Kaz and Lara go, these two were going to happen. Their chemistry was so intense and so scorching, you’d have to be out of your mind to think otherwise. Kaz and Lara were like magnets and I couldn’t get enough of the pull they had. Their story had a lot of ups and downs. Some downs harder to deal with than others. But, their love held strong the entire time and I couldn’t help but fall deeper and deeper in love with Kaz.
The Revolution was everything I wanted and everything I never knew I needed. This story is filled with lots of love, romance, hope and angst. Lara’s story isn’t always an easy one, and it does have some dark moments, but I am here to tell you that S.L. Scott did an amazing job with those dark moments. She made them intense without going over the top and she showed you that there is light, even in the most darkest moments.
I loved everything about The Revolution, from beginning to end. I loved spending time with old friends and meeting some new ones. Fans of the Hard to Resist series, you are not going to want to miss out on this. I hope that you will fall in love with Kaz and Lara just as I have.

This book! This. Book. It was amazing. Utterly stunning. Heart stealing. Soul searing. Gut wrenching. Beautiful. The feels? I felt them all. Heart. Body. Soul. I'm just gone over Lara and Kaz. I'm completely in love with The Revolution!!!
Kaz. My god. What a sexy, naughty and talented man. Talented on the stage and between the sheets! RAWR. He's funny, caring and has the most gorgeous things to say to Lara. I cannot even. CANNOT. EVEN. My heart! My heart! His soul is GOLD. Fucking gold. *clutches heart* HE. MELTS. ME.
Lara and Kaz together had me burning. Burning with passion. Burning with desire. Just burning in all the best ways possible. It was like been at a rock concert and suddenly...the pyrotechnics are scorching you. Ouch. Their chemistry could be felt from my Kindle. Hell. Yes. These two together. My god. Their journey. The boys of The Resistance are back. This time S.L. Scott gives us Kaz’s story in The Revolution, the new standalone in her Hard to Resist series. Kaz is a recent addition to The Resistance and was very excited about the opportunity. Ready to keep his past a secret and move forward with one of best bands in the world, Kaz has the world at his feet.
Lara Kessler has fantasized about Kaz Fabian, the famous guitarist, since she first saw him. What is there not to love? Famous, gorgeous, charming…the list goes on and on.
Their timing has been off since they first met, but with recent changes in their current situation, has their time finally come? As they spend time together and get to know each other, sparks flies and their connection becomes stronger.
But when you get involved with the rich and famous, eyes are always on you and the consequences can be detrimental. With the secrets they keep, can their love survive? What will happen once the secrets are revealed and start unraveling their lives?
I loved Kaz. He was sweet and honest and stands by the people he cares about, even if it means hurting himself in the process. He was strong, sexy and so very caring. It was not hard to fall for him. Lara started out weak and cautious, but as you get to know her, you understand why. But as she spends time with Kaz and begins to believe in herself, we see her start to grow stronger and more determined.
It was great to see how two people who love each other can stand by each other and grow, even when they have both been hurt deeply in the past by those who said they loved them. But is love enough to carry them through all that is about to come their way?
There is so much more I want say about this story, but do not want to give it away. It is the kind of story you have to experience. Just know S.L. Scott treated the subject matter with honesty and insight.
I have truly enjoyed all the work I have read by S.L. Scott and she did not disappoint in The Revolution. This was a great story about overcoming hurt, pain and loss, but also of love, support and fighting for what you want. A great read that will touch your heart.

I loved Kaz. He was sweet and honest and stands by the people he cares about, even if it means hurting himself in the process. He was strong, sexy and so very caring. It was not hard to fall for him. Lara started out weak and cautious, but as you get to know her, you understand why. But as she spends time with Kaz and begins to believe in herself, we see her start to grow stronger and more determined.
It was great to see how two people who love each other can stand by each other and grow, even when they have both been hurt deeply in the past by those who said they loved them. But is love enough to carry them through all that is about to come their way?
There is so much more I want say about this story, but do not want to give it away. It is the kind of story you have to experience. Just know S.L. Scott treated the subject matter with honesty and insight.
I have truly enjoyed all the work I have read by S.L. Scott and she did not disappoint in The Revolution. This was a great story about overcoming hurt, pain and loss, but also of love, support and fighting for what you want. A great read that will touch your heart.

The Revolution is a great addition to this series. We get Kaz's story, the very sexy, very determined yet quiet guitarist for The Resistance. He has had a thing for Lara for a long time and he doesn't hesitate to finally stake his claim.
With Lara trying desperately to end things with her famous baseball player boyfriend, it's Kaz who she seeks out for comfort and ultimately for love. Theirs is not an easy journey with Lara trying so hard to stand on her own and Kaz never wanting her to fall. They have a definite chemistry and as much as they have obstacles thrown in their way, I loved that they never gave up.
Although each have secrets that could threaten their happiness, their ultimate revelations only made the story that much more interesting and added definite elements of surprise that caught me off guard more than once.
There is a lot of side stories all going on at once in this book but the author manages to present all of it effortlessly. A good story that I really enjoyed, I look forward to more in this series. The rockers that are The Resistance are one sighworthy group.

Yes! I am excited The Revolution is now live. Congratulations S.L. Scott. This book was definitely worth the wait.

Lara is trying to find the one thing she lacks in life, passion. Without any spoilers, she is at a dead end for her love life. She is fiery, loveable, kind, and loves with her all. She thought she could live life through the motions and be content, until she met him.
I loved Kaz and Lara from the beginning to the end. It was so emotional. I cried a few times, laughed, got angry, then loved these new characters that came into my life. I recommend you getting this book now! This story is part of series, but can be read as a stand alone. I really, really want to say so much more, but it just is not possible without any spoilers. I hope I have helped enough to help you make that decision to get this book. I know you will love Kaz!

This is the fourth book in this series, and the first which I have read. I will certainly be going back and 1-clicking the others as soon as possible. This is the story of Kaz, rock musician, and Lara. These two have had a hot and intense chemistry between them since first meeting, but Lara is in a difficult relationship which she know is not working, but unable to get out of.
I was hooked from the very beginning of this book, and thoroughly enjoyed the emotional, rollercoaster journey which this author takes the reader on. This is an amazingly well written story, and I highly recommend this authors work for all, and I look forward to reading more of her work in the future.

Wow! Katz and Lara’s story had such a different tone than the previous books. A tad of suspense and danger for our heroine. One thing that remains true...the men of The Resistance continue to be just as swoony and poetic with each book.
These musicians just warm my heart and make it melt with all their beautiful words, protective embraces and sexy personas. I think they’ve reached the status of being my favorite fictional rockstars to date. They can’t get any dreamier than this.

It was great seeing the gang back together, it was like like having the Friends Reunion! I love their camaraderie. If you mess with one of them, be prepared to battle all of them.

This book has something that I didn't want to put down (and read it in one sitting). Something that keeps me flippin' my kindle pages and makes me happy, excited and swoony reading it. A storyline that just made me freaking melt.
I got really attached to Kaz (the dreamy, rock star guitarist of The Resistance) did i say dreamy? yeah! swoon..

Oh S.L. Scott you have written rockstar gold with Kaz and Lara’s story! This right here is what rockstar romance is all about! I devoured it. So much intense feels, all the angst and emotion! I was CONSUMED by these characters and their love story. I couldn’t get enough and didn’t want it to end. The way these two characters picked each other up and become a stronger couple in the end I loved so much.
Kaz is a former musical prodigy who is now a famous rockstar. He is insanely attractive, charming and protects those he loves.
Lara is a super sweet. I found her to be a bit timid and shy initially but she is also resilient and a fighter and became stronger and more determined after all she went through. I loved her character growth.
Through all the angst and pain Kaz and Lara found beauty within each other. So much love and passion.
The journey S.L. Scott takes you on in this story will leave you breathless and wanting more. It is the best in the series in my opinion and get ready for a whirlwind of feels! This one has it all.
Jason Clarke and Savannah Peachwood were the perfect voices for these characters. Both do an excellent job with the male and female parts narrating in dual POV and I found they added to the intensity and emotion of the storyline at all the right times.

Hope, Love, Passion, and Stength
Each character created by Ms. Scott has been amazing, and Kaz and Lara were no different. The depth this author puts into her stories just blows me away.
There was suspense, heat, swooning, tenderness, guilt to overcome, healing, heart breaking moments, passion and jaw dropping sexiness - so many feels, but is was an amazing ride that I would ride over and over again.
Lara Kessler had a successful business that she worked extremely hard to build, and had a beautiful man America loved by her side. But, the life people envied and thought was beautiful wasn't as it seemed.
Kaz Fabian was a part of the world famous band The Resistance and felt he had everything he would ever want. But, sometimes our souls call for something deeper and reveals that we have many holes to fill.
Although Kaz and Lara have met before and have hung around each other several times at band events, it's one moment that gives them both pause to reevaluate what is important in life.
Kaz's determination to make Lara see how strong and beautiful she was made my heart burst with happiness.
One of my favorite quotes in the book, “Sometimes the exceptions are what the journey is all about.”
The other amazing Resistance characters make appearances throughout this story, and once again we get to witness the bond between this group of friends which is extremely heart-warming.

Lara at a concert with friends eyeing Kaz but knows there just friends but her gut is saying hmm I wonder but she has a man so it passes. Mark is major baseball player and Lara is noticing him changing and her feelings for him just aren't there anymore. Lara is a house decorator and ends up helping Kaz and there feelings start to come out. Has Lara finally found her dream man in Kaz? Will Lara be able to break up with Mark? Will Kaz be able to open up to Lara about his past? Drama, romance in this book never assume people are fine until you truly see it with your own eyes.
