#2 in the The Directorate series A Novella. Ebsa, Paer and Ra'd have survived their first year at the Directorate School. No doubt this summer internship will be boring. It's not like they'd let them do anything dangerous . . . like assist in a study of dinosaurs.
More of the first book, but it's all good. Have I said yet that I don't like doing reviews? The fact that I will probably read all this series means I like it. So far. I've said before, it's the people in a story that's important. If you don't like the characters, you probably won't read any more.
This book follows the adventures of Paper, presidential daughter, Ebsa Clostuone, who is constantly underestimated because of the silly naming conventions of his society, and R'ad, a descendent of the prophets of the One World who had been in a stasis bubble for 1000 years.
In this story we get a mash-up of the worlds from Uphoff's Wine of the Gods series and Jurassic Park. Not a bad idea and it's a fairly good story.
