Dr. John Blanchard is an internationally known Christian preacher, teacher, apologist and author. I used Blanchard to supplement Lloyd-Jones. I found this book my second placed resource for understanding the beatitudes. While the commentaries go to great depth, it was refreshing to see how others applied the crux of the text to the Christian life.
