Sam is at a crossroads. At one end he has the defeat of not going to the Olympics; his life’s dream. On the other end however, is Brett; who has taken command of his heart. Right in the middle is a myriad of decisions to be made. First and foremost is college or the agonizing option of trying for the Olympics again. Both would be grueling and both would not allow Sam much time with his Brett. Will things heat up just to cool off and go down in a blaze of glory for Sam? Or will they stay the course for the young figure skater? It’s time to make some decisions.
aka Stephanie L. Danielson. I've been an avid reader since a small child. My first loves were science fiction as well as general fiction books. Later, I began writing my own stories with a romantic flavor to them. With influences running the gamut from romance,sci-fi, and drama, my muse was found. In 2007 I was first published with Love Resurrected, and have since released over a dozen other books, mostly in the contemporary gay romance genre. I am particularly fond of young adult/college age boys to write about.
When not working on a new book, I can be found shooting pool and darts, hanging out with my husband, parents, and cat, cycling, skating, or spending way too much time playing computer games.
This book is an important and accessible look into what it means to be two virgin boys on the cusp of adulthood, taking their places in the larger world as who they really are.
Fortunately these two are both well-off and talented, with loving families, yet there are still major hurdles-- thinking clearly, standing up for themselves, financial and career decisions, being honest about their hopes and fears, especially with each other-- to which any reader can relate.
The 'ice fairies' strive to encourage both family and friends to believe in their love, and to foster trust and love in their friends and family. And because it's realistic about the teen POV , they get to relieve their acute horniness at last :)
