The Jane Austen Miscellany is the ultimate guide of everything Jane Austen for those who just can't get enough!
"For reading Jane Austen, to those who love her, is like mounting with wings as eagles; we cannot tire." -G.B Stern
Still trying to clear my home shelves- who knows how long this was sitting with my JA novels. But this was even less satisfying- random quotes from JA novels, quotes from other famous people about JA novels or herself, random facts. It was not new info and very choppy for me. I guess that's why its called miscellany, so the warning for me was right there on the cover.
Delightful.....tidbits about Jane's life and times, quotes from favorite characters and a look at films and books that have been inspired by Jane's writings.
This is a must for any Austen fan. I love being able to pick up this book and read a quote from one of her books or a little historical tid-bit about her time. It's a great book to keep handy at all times!
