A good basic overview of the doctrines of the Christian faith.
My only complaint is that this book marketed itself as practical application to theology, and I don’t think it fulfilled that purpose. The application sections focused more on analogies between everyday life experiences and complex theological topics. I wish there was more teaching on how these doctrines actually impact the everyday lives of believers if it’s goal is being applicable.
This book breaks down different parts of theology and explains it in an easy way. Best for those who are new Christians and didn't grow up in the church/you want a refresher in theology without having to read hundreds of pages (*cough* Grudem *cough*).
Recommended 13+ for topics younger readers may not understand.
