Various is the correct author for any book with multiple unknown authors, and is acceptable for books with multiple known authors, especially if not all are known or the list is very long (over 50).

If an editor is known, however, Various is not necessary. List the name of the editor as the primary author (with role "editor"). Contributing authors' names follow it.

This is a collection of poetry about Love from poets all before 1900. I did enjoy these poems and some of them are very beautiful and some of them are dated. They have Romantic ideals about love.

There are the bigs like Shakespeare, Dickinson, Shelly, Wadsworth and many many more. I enjoyed Shakespeare and Dickinson the most.

This is a beautiful pocket edition to bring anywhere.

Most of the poems were too romantic for my taste. But there were a few that I actually really liked.

*3.5

This was very nice at times, but there's just too many men being weird. And not in a good way.

So many wonderful poems in a stunning leather bound book. I got a taste of so many prose, I'm excited to look into authors I was, prior to this ,not very familiar with.

Are you interested in reading about reading about love in a fun way? If so, “love poems” is defiantly the book for you! This amazing book is about different authors views on love. It uses a lot of beautiful imagery and metaphors to keep you interested in the poems while reading. There are also many different love stories they tell about their loved ones and they describe them in very interesting ways.
The book “ love poems” does not just have one author, this book is composed of many different authors and their Poems. This book is extremely powerful and enjoyable to read. It has many different poems about love, some good and some bad. It has a lot of diversity with the type of poem and author, which helps the reader stay connected and focused on the text. This book doesn’t have a specific plot or setting. It is mainly a different variety of authors expressing their feelings towards love.
Since their are many different poems and differ authors, the poems are written in 1st or 3rd person depending on who the author was. What makes it fun to read was never knowing what your about to read next. You could be reading a beautiful poem on how love is so important or how in love one person is with another and then go to how much the author hates love and how ugly his or her lover was. It is fun to s the different point of views o n love depending on the many different experiences there has been. The tone of the book was bth happy and disturbing at some points but is still interesting and fun to read.
Due to the fact that their is a variety of different authors and writing styles, each author has different literary devices that consist of mostly imagery, metaphors, personification and simile. They all use positive and negative attitudes throughout their writhing so the ready really needs to pay attention to their tones because they can change through the poem very easily. Some of the authors purpose is writing their poems are to express their feelings about love, weather good or bad. Some others choose to talk about their loved ones or their lover. The main idea most authors focused on was hoe beautiful their lover was and how strongly they felt about them. The book was organized randomly with a different poem every page, they all had different stories and meanings behind them.
Overall I loved reading this book. It was enjoyable and for some of the Poems i could relate to certain lines. The book really spoke to me because I love love and reading about the power of it. Before reading this book, i knew i would enjoy it because it has a happy feeling to it. I would defiantly recommend this book to Myone who believes in love and enjoys experiencing and reading other peoples feelings. This a positive review.

I'm new to poetry and haven't quite figured out what I'm actually looking for. Some of these works made no sense to me. They became a puzzle and I enjoyed learning their meanings through Google searches. But not all were winners with my heart. And that's okay too.

The other plus with this book is its size and cover. It's just a really cute book to own.

I recommend this small poetry book if you are new to love poems. It's a nice book to read before going to bed or bring with you on the train. I have read poems from the famous Shakespeare and Dickinson before, so I felt like I was introduced to a lot poems that I have read in the past. However, I was pleasantly surprised to read the poems of Christina Rossetti and William Butler Yeats which I had never read previously. Overall, some of the poems and the language used are somewhat dated and very old-fashion, which makes some of the poems hard to understand. I will say I do admire this book for what it represents.

Rating collections is difficult. Three stars because I can't be bothered to try to sort out an average. A fun little collection of poems, all of which are European/American in origin, so...not great on the diversity level. Some of it I had read before, some of it was new poems by authors I'd read before, and some of it was new poems by someone I'd never heard of. I definitely got an idea of some new poets I want to read more from, so I'm counting it as a win.

This book is a beautiful addition to my collection, And so are the poems in it! I enjoyed re-reading a few of my personal favourites such as Shakespeare and the Bronte sisters, As well as discovering a few new writers that I cannot wait to explore further. It has to be 5 stars from me!

I really like this collection because of the range of authors it takes the poems from. The range from Dante Alighieri (1265-1321) to William Butler Yeats (1865-1939). I knew many of these authors, so it was a delight for me to read their poems.

This book, like Gangsta Granny, really is priceless because the love of my life gave it to me at Valentine’s Day. I enjoyed reading a poem or two a day as well as refreshing my memory about poems and poets that I learned about long, long ago.

I love poetry so unless it’s very bad it’ll get a decent rating from me regardless. I liked this collection though. It’s short and a tiny book so I can take it with me places easily.

It’s also just a good selection. A lot of favorites were in it. I very much so enjoyed

Like with any collection, I've found some poems that I liked and some not so much. Unfortunately, the former category was smaller than the latter. There's nothing really wrong with this collection, but most of the poems simply weren't for me.

I wanted to get one more poetry collection read this month and this one is full of love poems. What did I learn? I learned never give all of the heart for “he gave all his heart and lost.”
