This summer, the temperature’s rising in Rio . . .

Olivia Russell is a little desperate. What’s a girl to do when the excessively hot, sorta shy swimmer she’s always pined for finally appears to return her feelings? Right before he heads to Rio and the Olympic Games?

Tweet him, of course.

Chris Muller doesn’t know he ended up here. He’s been in love with Olivia for three years. But @ArieltheMermaid is funny and clever and doesn’t make him sweat. Should he holdout for the cool blonde he’s wanted forever, or fall for the cute, spunky girl he only knows through Twitter?

When Chris discovers the truth, even the pool won’t be enough to cool him off.

Once I picked this book up, it was so hard to put down. Olivia and Chris are both likable, well fleshed out characters. I like that they both had their own lives and dreams outside of one another...although it's their killer chemistry and shy turned sizzling sexual tension that kept the pages turning.
Definitely my favorite by this author.

I am the kind of person who enjoys watching the Olympics for the sport but even more for the personalities. This book is perfect for me. There is the backdrop of the Olympic games and one half of our couple is an Olympic athlete. The beautiful thing is that he is not that typical, herculean, larger-than-life Olympian that jumps out of the pool and claims the most beautiful girl as his due. No, he is a handsome but very shy man who has worshipped his hair stylist from afar for 3 YEARS without being confident enough to make his move. And the hair stylist? She is his perfect match, unfortunately, also shy and waiting those same 3 years for him to notice her. Well, with the Olympics ahead she realizes that his life will soon change in a big way and her window of opportunity is closing. Luckily, they each have a hilarious friend pushing them towards each other to move this romance along! I love this story because the characters are so ordinary in many ways and have the same issues with romance as the rest of us! This is a great summer read!

Quick easy read. Relatable characters. I enjoyed watching the romance blossom between Olivia and Chris. It shows that not all romance is as easy as what you see in movies. There are awkward moments, shyness, wasted opportunities, etc. Thank you for showing these kinds of people that love is still possible.

•”Mermaids are very tough to spot in the wild. A thing of rare and dangerous beauty,”•

This was a cute quick story with shy characters working through some awkward feelings to get to a point of feeling comfortable with each other. I really enjoyed the fact that Chris had insecurities and wasn’t your typical Alpha H, he was very sweet and easy to love.

This was a well written M/F romantic comedy. It was a sweet story with adorable protagonists, but that's all it was. There honestly wasn't much of a story here, but it made me smile.

I really enjoyed Chris and Olivia's story. It was cute and hot. I wanted it to keep going.

I had to put it down least night, though I didn't want to, thinking I had another 30 ish % to go. I read this morning only to find it was only two pages left and done at 77% with a preview of another book at the end.
