I'm guessing I'm not the only reader who was looking forward to the stalwart and often serious Sev aka Blaze finally getting his turn in the spotlight. He's the protective one, the big brother type and yes he's constantly watching out for those with him who somehow winded up on Earth but it's not exactly been what they expected. Time and time again the misinformation they've been given has tripped these three guys up and it's often been with hilarious results.
Blaze may not think he wants what Earth has to offer anymore but meeting Cynthia gives him a whole lot of new ideas! Perhaps being a groom isn't the worst thing that could happen . Certainly Cynthia seems persistent but what if she hasn't exactly been truthful with Blaze? After all the craziness that's happened the government types are bound to start sniffing around and no matter what they say not everything that happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!
These stories are short, connected and at times silly. If it's heat with a side of mirth you fancy then this author delivers. I really liked that the heroine Cynthia had an interesting back story and it played out quite well amidst the Galaxy Brides scenario although frankly it took me a little longer to get gripped by then some previous stories. It's a romance so you know it's going to end with a smile but unfortunately not my favourite by this author. Still as a precursor to all the goodness that's to come it's a good mixture of steam, danger and of course honourable hot aliens!

This is the last book about two Alien brothers and one cousin from a mining planet who come to Vegas the way we might pretending we are interested in a condo to get a vacation.

In their case it is pretending to being looking for brides. I love me some Science Fiction Romance Mail Order Mate fun and even though this one dodges the trope because they are pretending, it is fun romp.

This last book in features the most serious brother and is less slapstick. The romance is fast and the tale a bit short but it is a good ride.

What a fun book!

This is the third book in the series, and gives us Sev's story. And solid, stoic Sev has an exceptional time while he is in Earth trying to keep his brother and cousin out of trouble. Instead he finds his own trouble with "the government" . This book is well written, with good characters. The ending was a bit fast, but enjoyable.

Sev is the more buttoned up of the 3 hotties but his story is just as humorous, sexy, happy & sad. it ended in a different way which was very nice. I do have to say one thing: Sev thinking a waffle was a form of liquor had me rolling on the floor laughing like a mad woman. I even cried a bit during Chapter 13. There is enough backstory so it could be listened to as a standalone but I recommend all 3!
Michelle M Pillow and the narrator knocked this out of the park. A definite must listen to!!

The book was fun and had a lot of great settings. Low ratings based on the romance. I didn't buy Sev and Cynthia's connection since a lot of the initial stuff was off page. The ending didn't quite sit right, either.

This review is from: Blaze: Galaxy Alien Mail Order Brides (Intergalactic Dating Agency) (Kindle Edition)

Blaze is the third book in Michelle Pillow's newest scifi romance series. They center around the Intergalactic Dating Agency's idea that bringing possible grooms to earth to seek brides would be great business. Not everything goes as they expect and taking these hot alien males to Las Vegas to seek their brides may have been a good idea as far as blending in and of course things don't go as smoothly as expected.

Blaze has come to earth with his brother and cousin. He is the only one that has not found a bride as the serious one of the group has him running all over trying to keep his family from getting into trouble and losing them to earth for good.

In his quest to keep his brother and cousin in check Sev finds his has been suspiciously running into a beautiful woman named Cynthia. Tired of being the unappreciated serious guardian one of the group Sev decides to let loose and get to know Cynthia a lot better. Cynthia though, is not as human as she looks and there are some secrets she is hiding from him. Torn by her growing attraction and feelings for Sev, Cynthia has some choices to make and dangers she has to face.

Although I felt this book was a bit shorter than the first two it was a great read and addition to the series. This whole series is very humerous and lots of fun. The stories all have excitement, some dangerous people and groups as well and of course a nice dose of sexy romance and hot alien men. I think reading the series in order is the best way to enjoy the storylines.

I think I was most excited to read about Sev/Blaze. Sev is the responsible one, he watches out for his cousin, Kal, and tries to protect his brother, Vin. Both Kal and Vin have found an earth woman to love. Sev is seriously worried that he will lose both of them to Earth, that they will choose to stay on Earth instead of taking their women home with them. Earth has more opportunities for these men, instead of constantly mining ash underground.
Cynthia is a fun character with a compelling backstory. There is instant chemistry between Sev and Cynthia and the passion between them gets pretty steamy! As a character, I liked her, she wasn't a pushover and knew how to make a situation work for her. Sev has some hard choices to make, he continues to help Vin and Angela, which calls him away from Cynthia, but he also wants to take time for himself. Sev also has to decide if he is willing to give his heart away. Will he convince his cousin and brothers to go home or will they stay on Earth? Will he find love like Kal and Vin?
Highly recommended, the side characters are fun and the dialogue is witty and snappy and some of Ms. Pillow's best. Loved it.

I received a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review.

Funny and so good! Well writen with great detail. Michelle once again gives such pleasure in her story's.
Blaze follows his brother to Eath when he goes to looks for a human wife. Earth woman are very compatable to thier race. His brother always seems to get into trouble and Blaze has to bail him out every time. His brother this time goes to Earth with the Galaxy Mail Order Brides ship to find his wife.
From saving his brother and friends to sugar over load and addiction Blaze has his hands full. All Blaze wants is to get his family and go back home. But his brother found a woman and Blaze also found one when he was not even looking. And then trouble really started. He found Cynthia .
Seems someone was trying to capture the men and keep them from returning home and it seems it only happened when he was with Cynthia.
What was going on?Was Cynthia in trouble and was that why they were being followed or was it something else. All Blaze knew was he was going to get his brother and friends and the women and go home. No matter what

I loved this series it had me smiling and laughing out loud in some places, in others shaking my head! It was a great read!!

Galaxy Alien Mail Order Brides has taken males to Earth to find brides! Sev aka Blaze hates Earth and can't believe what his cousin did! Well he hates everything that is until he meets Cynthia!
Cynthia is not the little human Blaze thinks her to be....she is actually only half human and the other half is Killian. When the government figured out what she was she was taken away and tested on. :(
Just when Blaze and Cynthia are starting to make a connection the government comes looking for all the alien grooms so the couples need to leave Vegas immediately!
Blaze wants to leave earth but not without Cynthia and she can't go without her medicine.....What will they do? Will they get caught?

Sev AKA Blaze is sane and sensible compared to his brother and cousin. He is levelheaded and responsible and no way is he marrying an Earthling! He'll seem them safely off the rock that is Earth and be happy to get back to his Ash Mines. But Cynthia keeps popping up wherever he is and he is drawn to her but he is leaving and she has no clue he is an alien.

Cynthia needs to land Sev for her shadowy bosses. Just why do they need him - testing and experimenting are high possibilities but she is stuck if she can't go through with it. They'll withdraw her meds and she'll be outed to the world as ...not quite all human!

Sev and the boys are comic relief in a hot package! They are big kids let loose on the world and I loved seeing Earth through their eyes. They are sweet, naive and alpha all at the same time! I have enjoyed this wee foray into this Dragon Lords adjacent world.

Sev (aka Blaze), always the serious one, would find the only women to be his match on Earth. Cynthia’s new assignment, an alien called Blaze, holds a strange connection to her and may hold the key to her past but the more time she spends with him the greater the conflict of interest she has with her “Bosses”. Against orders Cynthia tells Sev exactly who she is and what her bosses have threatened Sev and his family with, now the only safe place is to run back to Bravon, only that would me splitting up family. Great end to the Glarkenbauer boy’s stories, a really fun series in the Intergalactic Dating Agency collection.

This is the 3rd and last book in the Galaxy Alien Mail Order Brides series, here we learn a little more about the planet they are from and about Blaze aka Sev Glarkenbauer and how he feels about his planet he didn't realize that the vacation they took was really a trip to earth to find brides to bring back home but his cousin Kal found his bride and his brother Vin found the woman that he could not live without but Sev was still trying to get them both to go back home with him at the time he had not found a woman that interested him enough to even talk to he didn't seem to like anything about Las Vegas planet earth and wanted to disparately go home so he was busy getting in his family out of trouble here and there and trying to keep them together so that they could go but they didn't want to return and he was trying to help his brother prove his love to Angela the security guard he met when he went viral over the ice cream fiasco after that he kept running in to the woman that he was sure was following him but she finally approached him her name was Cynthia who reminded him of the old world glamour they looked at on their way to earth he noticed that she had been following him and he would see her in different places but never really talked to her it just so happened that the people she worked for were a secret part of the government and they were trying to expose the Galaxy Alien Mail Order Brides tours she was surprised that blaze aka Sev was a gentlemen and treated her like he really cared because he did and he would never take advantage of a lady but his family came first then there came a time when he put her first and she took him to the Hoover Damn because her bosses were sure that is where they let the alien passengers off once they arrived on earth and she was suppose to get Sev to show her where the location was but after they kissed she realized that she couldn't use him because she was falling for him she took him to a motel and told him the whole story about what she was doing how it came about that she was working for these people and what would happen if she didn't do what she was required to do. Sev is quite head over heels with Cynthia and he couldn't image spending the rest of his life without her but the people she worked for would destroy them all rather than let them get away so she left Sev at the motel and went to talk to her handler he was not pleased that she didn't come with any important information but she was about to pass out from the lack of meds required to keep her alive because she had been given a sickness that could kill her to keep her in line her handler gave her another chance to fix things with Sev she went to see him at his hotel once he returned she came upon him fighting and she didn't know it was his brother and cousin she thought he was being attacked and jump right in to save him because she and Sev belonged to each other now even if it wasn't forever. Turned out to be a very interesting and happy ending to this series for all the Glarkenbauers. I willingly provided this honest review on this book.

Love For the Grumpy Alien?

Sev/Blaze is on earth with his brother and cousin courtesy of the Galaxy Bride Corporation. The trip has not gone smoothly for Sev. He has spent all of his time trying to keep his cousin and brother out of trouble. Who knew it would be so easy for them to get into so much trouble in Las Vegas! During the little time Sev has had to himself, there has been a woman following him around. They finally actually talk to each other and Sev is intrigued.

Cynthia has been following Sev/Blaze around because she is working for a government agency that knows what the Galaxy Brides Corporation is up to and is trying to shut them down. They are also trying to capture as many of the aliens that they brought to earth to experiment on. Cynthia is half Killian and was taken by the government as a child and “trained” by them as an agent. Once the government has you there is no way out, other than death.

When they finally have a little time to spend together they are both hooked. Cynthia finally tells Blaze that she is half Killian and wants to find out as much as she can about her kind. She warns Blaze what the government is up to and warns them to get off the planet immediately. Flame and Spark refuse to leave earth without their brides, who don’t want to leave earth. Sev/Blaze has always said he wouldn’t leave without his cousin and brother. They all have some tough choices to make and no time to make them!

This is a great book and I loved seeing Sev/Blaze finally loosen up and have a little fun. This is book three in the series but is written so it can be read as a stand alone. I look forward to the next book in the series! A fun series!!

In this book we get to see what happened from Blaze’s point of view. Sevglarkenbauer is his real name and he is from Bravon, where he is an ash miner. With his brother Vinglarkenbauer and his cousin Kalglarkenbauer, they went on the ship for Galaxy Alien Mail Order Brides to Earth to Las Vegas. Kal had gotten their fingerprint signatures while Sev & Vin were drunk and they got a discount on the trip, as long as they tried to find brides, and a few other things like reviews. His human ID had Blaze Glarken on it. He wanted to round up his sugar addicted brother (see his book for ice cream incident, lol), and Kal (see his book for the kidnapping rescue and brawl), so they could be picked up Gamob’s Bob, etc. In Las Vegas, a woman had been following him, and they talked and hit it off. Her name is Cynthia. She realized that Blaze was of the same alien species as her father, Bravon/Killian. Because of an incident in her past, she was found out and now worked for the ‘government.’ They had done something to her, that forced her to do what they wanted or she could get really sick and die, without the inhaler, that healed her for a while. I was livid at what they were doing to her and the other savants and hybrids. Finally, Cynthia and Sev get together, and since she knows about aliens, Sev can be himself with her, and they talk and get to truly known one another. A shocking thing happens while they are ‘together.’ Sev figures out from what bloodline she is from. The book is fun, funny, scary, romantic, steamy and a bit heartbreaking. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Not My Fave, But Still Good

Audiobook Review:
Generally, I adore the novellas set in this author’s Quirilixen world. They usually laugh out loud funny with heroes who are charming in their naivete of Earth customs, yet they are fiercely protective and loyal to the women they fall for. I've read or listened to close to a dozen books across several series, and this is one of my least favorite. Don't get me wrong; there’s nothing inherently bad about it. Sev, AKA Blaze, is a hero as I've described. The story just didn't have the humor I've come to expect (and enjoy) from these novellas, and it had a bit of a darker edge at times, which isn't typical of these books. The heroine is certainly unusual… but in a way our hero appreciates. I also enjoyed seeing Cal and Vin again, and even they showed deeper aspects of their characters, especially at the end. I'm certainly not saying you should avoid this book, but if you come to expect and enjoy the sometimes slapstick humor and relative levity of this particular series and many of the Quirilixen world series, just be prepared for something a little more serious.

I received a promo code for this book, but that did not affect my review.

Story: Sev (Blaze) (H), his family, Vin (Flame)and Kal (Spark) have come to Las Vegas for a vacation courtesy of Galaxy Brides - they're supposed to be looking for mates and giving the company promotional reviews. Cynthia (h) has been following Sev around Las Vegas and he finds himself attracted to his somewhat stalker even as works to keep up with Vin and Kal's goings on. Cynthia has secrets of her own that could threaten the safety of the Killians. This third book in the series wasn’t quite as funny as the previous two, though it did have some moments. It was a nice wrap up to the story of the three Killians looking for love in Las Vegas. Having read some of the author's later works, I think she's definitely become a much stronger writer since this one was written. It doesn’t feel as well developed as some of the other works in the Qurilixen world which have developed more fully as the author has matured.

Audio: The narrator did an okay job. There were some awkward timings that made some sentences feel robot like in their delivery. Some of the characters voices just didn’t resonate well with me.

*Spoilers*
Blaze has always taken care of his cousins, and although they are on Earth, he is still looking out for them. When he bumps into a beautiful woman called Cynthis, he decides he is going to take some time for himself not realising that she was a plant sent to find out information.
Cynthia is park human part alien and the Government control her with a drug. She has to do what they say or they will withhold the drug and she will die. As she gets to know Blaze, she realises that she wants to help him and his cousins and sets out to do just that no matter the cost to herself.
This was such a fun read: Blaze doesn’t smile much as he has taken on the role of protector to his cousins and people on his planet, Cynthia has been controlled for most of her life and doesn’t know anything else although she has dreams. The misunderstandings between Blaze and others is a constant reminder that Galaxy Brides are idiots, but it does make you laugh.

Last but not least we have Sev's story. He is the oldest and most responsible of the three. He watches out for his Brother and Cousin. Ever since his parents died in an accident he lives his life watching out for others. He has a great sense of responsibility and honor. He's on Earth against his better judgement and wants to leave to go home as soon as possible. However, he has made a promise not to leave without his family. He has been followed by Cynthia. Little does he know she has been assigned to watch him and find out how to get to Galaxy Brides. She is a "savant" who has been enslaved by her bosses keeping her sick. She falls for Sev and they find out that her father is from Sev's home planet. Will they be able to escape her bosses? Will Cynthia finally be able to escape her past. This story is amazing! Michelle does a wonderful job closing the series and makes you want to read it again.

Love this book! It’s well written, has some great characters, steamy scenes and a happily ever after guaranteed.
Blaze, whose real name is Sev, is on a trip to earth with his brother and cousin to find a bride. Sev is adamant he’s going back to his life as an ash miner and he’s taking his brother and cousin with him. That is until his brother and cousin finds their soul mates. Sev doesn’t think he could leave earth knowing that his brother and possibly his cousin are still on earth. Then he meets Cynthia. All Sev knows is that Cynthia is a lady of leisure, not everything is as it seems. Cynthia is working undercover, she knows he’s an alien and he’s here with the Galaxy Alien Mail Order Bride company and she’s working to shut it down, her bosses aren’t satisfied with the information she’s getting and threaten her.

I loved Blaze’s big-brother vibe in this third of Pillow’s Intergalactic Dating Agency stories, and the mysterious, sassy heroine, Cynthia, who he falls in love with. This story is tied in nicely to Pillow’s other IDA stories, Spark and Flame – which feature his brother and his cousin and their romances. There is some overlapping of story and some details that readers didn’t get from previous stories, which is really neat for readers of Spark and Flame, but there’s a lot going on with Blaze/Sev that make this story a great read all on its own. His dislike of Earth and his attempts to corral Kal and Vin were are hilarious, and Cynthia poured on the heat. They clicked almost audibly, and the secrets in Cynthia’s past made everything just perfect for them both. I really enjoyed how this trilogy wrapped to a close, and would definitely recommend it fans of alien-romance-on-Earth stories.

BLAZE is a Galaxy Alien Mail Order Brides novella and part of the Qurilixen World's Intergalactic Dating Agency series by Michell M Pillow. This is a fast-paced read full of fun interactions. There's not a lot of depth here, but so much fun to read. If you're looking for a quick story, that doesn't take itself too seriously, this is it.

Sev (aka Blaze) was tricked by his brother Vin and cousin Kal into a vacation on Earth, a planet with lots of women. Blaze never expected to meet Cynthia and fall in love, but he did.  Now a quasi-government laboratory wants him and the company that brought them to earth so now they are on the run and must find a place to stay until The Galaxy Alien Mail Order Brides returns to pick them up.

This was a sweet ending to this Trilogy about three hunky Killian miners discovering the many delights of Earth and literally making for some laugh out loud situations.

Blazing hot

This book was so funny that I felt so sorry for Sev (blaze) because he was always fixing up the mess that his brother Vin and cousin Kal caused while on there supposed vacation on earth but was really a mail order bride service. But through it all Sev never expected to meet Cynthia and fall in love, now the government wants them and the company that brought them to earth so now they are on the run and must find a place to stay but not everyone wants to stay on earth Sev wants to go home but Vin and Kal want to stay with there women and so with a sad heart Sev decides that they can look after themselves now he has done his job looking after them after there parents where killed, but it’s not all bad he now has Cynthia his wife to go home with him. Will they all meet again in the future I hope so and carn’t wait.

I enjoy quick reads. They are a great way to still get your book fix when you don’t have a lot of time. This story is of Sev the serious one. He is over the crazy antics of his brother and cousin and the whole let’s find mates. Cal and vin have found mates and Sev is just ready to go. He keeps being followed and occasionally talked to by a an earth girl. Turns out she’s more then he bargained for all the way around. This story is funny, has a completely different feel then the first two and shows how different “blaze” is. There’s bot as much slapstick and much more intrigue. I enjoyed it. It’s got some heat and a fun story line I just wish there was more because Cyn is definitely an interesting character and the story line could have easily handled it. Kylie Stewart knocks the narration out of the park like she always does.

I looked forward to read this story about Blaize after reading the previous two and I found this quite enjoyable. The characters - Cynthia who is dependent on the drug given to her by the Government and Blaize (Sev) were very likable. Then the humor, drama and the romance kept my interest in this story. Blaize is tricked to going to Earth to find a bride. Blaize (Sev) with Kal and Vin select Las Vegas. While sightseeing the guys notices a women following them and when they split up she follows Blaize. Cynthia was sent to gather information about the Galaxy Brides for the Goverment. When they meet sparks alight between them but the Government wants them to make super soldiers. Will Blaize who was always looking after everyone, save them from the Government plans? Aliens are bride hunting in Las Vegas. Just that phrase is enough to warrant reading this book, but it gets much better. In this third book, Blaze is the oldest and is looking out for his brother and his cousin as they look for their mates. He comes across Cynthia and they click, but each have secrets and hers are a doozie. The situations and banter are hilarious as they try to fit in with the humans. A government group is after them and they are on the run with their women beside them. Who stays on Earth and who will go home to their planet?
The characters are terrific, with great backstories and family loyalty. The storyline was action packed and steamy. Loved the couples and the ending. Can not wait to read the next part of this series.

This is the third installment in the Galaxy Alien Mail Order Brides. It is Sev "Blaze" and Cynthia's story. Sev, the older brother of Vin isn't looking for a bride on Earth and is intent of getting himself, his brother and cousin back to his home planet of Killian and off of Earth and it's chaos. However he keeps running into Cynthia who he finds he has an interest in. He finds out she is half Killian and half human and has been trailing him on purpose. She was involuntarily recruited by a human agency that wants aliens off of Earth and who has a somewhat questionable agenda. Will Sev and Cynthia escape those who are following them and will they have a future together or will Cynthia's employer put an end to that dream. Check this story out to see.

I’m going to presume you’ve already read the blurb for this book, and maybe even read the first two books in the series. If you haven’t read the others, go do that, they are awesome and this one will make more sense. So this is the third in this series that I’ve read. I had a little bit of a hard time in the beginning of this one, as the woman Sev meets when he lands in Las Vegas appears to be deceiving him, which I didn’t like. Having said that, I really did love this book and things work out ok. I went say any more as I don’t want to give anything away. There are lots of shenanigans, some sexy times, a little family drama, a moderate amount of action, and fair amount of comic relief. It’s a really fun read, with a little more feels than the first two.

Michelle M. Pillow is one of my favorite writers. I love how she brings new ideas to the idea of space travel. Sev is protective of his brother and cousin. He has made it a point to protect them ever since his parents died. And it's not just them but their whole planet. When Kal tricked Sev and Vin into going to Earth as grooms looking for brides he went along to protect his brother. He did not expect to find Cynthia. She was from Sev's home world but was raised on Earth. When she was told to find out about Galaxy brides by her bosses she did not expect to fall for her mark Sev. Sev was very protective of her and helped her when he found out about her. This book was very hard to put down.

I loved the added twist to Cynthia and Blaze's story. It brought an additional element of danger to the story that added another dimension that guaranteed to keep you engaged from begining to end. Cynthia has secrets that she is keeping from Blaze and Blaze doesn't want a bride, so he can't tell her that he's a Killian, even though she seems to keep popping up when he least expects it and he finds her intriguing. He likes being around her. Cynthia knows that she has a job to do, but she likes being around him too and doesn't want it to end. Can they be together? Great characters, love the ongoing worlbuilding and the action and adventure is spot on. Bravo!
