Lyrics and bright, happy illustrations for Zanes' song "Jump Up." Also included is the musical score, plus the score and lyrics for four more songs.

What a joyful book this is! Great colors and art and includes a cd with songs from the wonderful Dan Zanes. I have used it multiple times for my baby rhyme time program (for babies and young toddlers) with great success. I suggest reading it first and then later have them dance and move about - I pass out instruments as well. The song moves too quickly to actually read with the book at the same time - more fun to point out the toast people etc.
Besides the fun song, Jump Up, there is also Going to Boston which is a fun song as a follow up (not as lively but a great tune and harmonies), Hal-an-tow, Mango Walk, and Sail Away Ladies. A great way to introduce folks to a fun musician they might not know besides a good picture book.
