F@cking-A...I died. This book killed me. I'm not even joking...GOOD LORD was this book SMOKIN...Dr. Jackson Reed..your dirty foul mouth had me squirming. I'll be your dirty slut. I'll call you GOD...I'll call you whatever the hell you want me to call you...
I am not even going to write an in depth review because it can basically be summed up in quotes and gifs...
"Never in my twenty years on this earth have I been the type of woman who bows her head and keeps quiet. Brought up in a home where my mother was outspoken and made no apologies for it. No pretenses. Sorry, but for me it was just too ridiculous even for a smut read. Hardly any story development, and I found myself skimming through even though the book was a short one. I have loved the Marked Series from this amazing author, but this story not so much.

I read a review on this today, and decided to read it as it was quick. My first ever book read on a Kindle. I never read this genre so I thought I'd give it a whirl. It was a bit funny, sentences were short and there was a twist at the end. The author started with fan fiction and has grown from there. I don't know how to review erotic stories!! It was a good hours distraction of harmless and very different reading on a lazy Saturday, and I finally met my Kindle for the first time. I think I got it last Christmas, or was that the one before?!

2* not that Erotic STARS!
The last book that I've read before my busy weekend and definitely sucks. I didn't enjoy it at all. I skipped a lot. In short, it was predictable and didn't make me hot and bothered at all.
Yeah, a quickie between dominating doctor and unreasonable childish patient. It was too unbelievable even I already predict the story. Both MCs didn't meet my expectation and failed to deliver the dirty and erotic side. They're both acts like horny teen.

Just a doctor sex book. It was not my thing here. Where do they have a real relationship in the story? Well I could not find it in this book.
Just a smut book for me. With an add a little marriage for five years and finally having baby. But the in-between what about her parents,the school,the cops, her going to jail, and all the things leading to the marriage. What does she do for work? Does she work as a nurse in his hospital?
Just not a story.
It's totally safe. Nothing to this story but them. So...if you are looking for a doctor smut fix this may be your deal!

Again it's all about the anal! Seriously, rectal exams, going to claim your ass, wow I guess it's the new smut here. I don't mind some of this but seriously when it's always mentioned and a preoccupation in the story, not so much.

I read my friend Eve's review for this "book" (mini-novella). I had to take time out from my mafia book & read this little short story. This is Kindle Unlimited available.
First person POV Nora. The story starts off with her being brought in to the ER by a by the books police officer. Apparently Nora was caught with other new college graduates defacing their beloved professors classroom. Only Nora was caught.
Nora's ankle is sprained and she needs "medical attention". Jackson Reed is the attending ER Dr that finally examines her.
Nora's internal thoughts are a crack up. This is one case where an internal monologue really makes the story. Nora is immediately attracted to Dr Reed. She keeps quiet about it. Soon, Dr Reed makes it known that he's attracted to her.
Since this is a very short novella, they get busy. Wow-do they ever. I kept waiting for them to get caught. I worked in the medical field and I kept waiting for HIM to get arrested/fired. The ethics! Out the window. OMG, yeah and wtf. But............... not yet.........
I just loved the twist at the end. DO NOT bail out before then. DO NOT skim....you will miss it.

Doctor's Orders is a great short read that I devored quickly. I have been waiting for this book since the first time the author announced she was writing it and gave a teaser for it.
Nora is a fiesty independent woman who doesn't like or follow orders, until she meets the one man her body cant deny obeying orders from.
Dr. Reed is a hot dominate alpha that doesn't take lip from anyone.. especially a sassy mouth patient that he craves, just from one look.
Halfway into the book there is a twist that leaves you wondering what will happen.... and the ending... well it is an ending I wasn't expecting, but loved!
This is now one of my top favorite reads of 2016 and I will be recommending it to everyone!

This book was a quick read but it was oh so f**king hot ! The ending was a total surprise for me and I was shocked because usually I see that coming a mile away. Nora is almost 21 years old, and a college student with a bad attitude and a foul mouth. Her and some friends sneak into the college at night so they can prank their art professor by painting the classroom. This is a tradition among the art department and each class tries to out do the other but the new security guard didn't know and he called the cops. While running from the police one of Nora's friends gets stuck climbing a fence so she helps the girl but that causes her to fall and hurt her vagina and ankle. She is furious that she's being arrested but before the officer takes her to jail he brings her to the emergency room. That is where she meets Dr. Jackson Reed, the very gorgeous on call doctor who is not impressed by her sassy mouth and bad attitude. I don't want to say anymore except if you're looking for something short and steamy then this book is it.

Elena has done it again! A smoking hot short story with Nora and Jackson that starts with instant attraction, becomes every woman's Alpha doctor fantasy come true, and ends with a twist that makes it even hotter! One of the sexiest books I've read this year and now has a permanent place on my reread list.

Short and sexy yes but other than that nothing like I expected. There were parts where I had to roll my eyes but the cute little twist made it all make sense. I loved Jackson with his over the top

Nora gets caught by the police while vandalizing her school and injures her ankle when trying to help her fellow accomplice leave the scene of the crime. She is brought to the hospital where Dr. Jackson Reed tends to her injuries in more ways than one. She's distracted enough by her attraction to him that she's able to withstand the debilitating pain of a sprained ankle and allows him to thoroughly examine her while she's handcuffed to the gurney. All sorts of foolery in this book but it was fun to read despite all of the noticeable editing issues at the beginning of the story. The cute twist in this story at the end made this a satisfactory read.

This book is my first Elena M. Reyes read and I am intrigued by her writing style, specifically her phrasing. Maybe this was intended for this particular book, in relation to the singular POV of Nora, who had a smart mouth. But I personally think that my reading pleasure would have been smoother if some of the sentence construction were complete and not phrased short. Thus, this book is one star short of becoming perfect.
Be that as it may, sexy Jackson Reed was one hot alpha male and dominant doctor. And the plot, and its twist, was a unique, "oh, that's why" moment. This book was wickedly sweet. I was pleasantly surprised in the end.

Doctor's Orders is quick, it's hot, it's dirty and I suddenly felt the need to scope out my local ER.
This quick read heats up quickly and ends with a twist.
Nora's internal monologue is a trip, she's got a lot going on in there! And Jackson Reed. That man could quite possibly make me beg.
Throughout this story I kept picturing him as Dr Travis Stork from The Doctor's talk show =)
