Masoul wasn’t just an uprising, it was the starting of a war. Harmony didn’t start on Masoul; they were using it as a testing ground.
Moretti has a lead on where Harmony might have come from. First they need to defeat Harmony’s forces in Osdal.
Nerva’s not going to throw his people at Harmony, this is not just a colonist uprising, this is a well-armed and backed military. They need more information. It comes down to the Triple-Two’s to find out that information.
Once again the Victor brothers and their platoon will be right at the heart of Harmony.
Michael Chatfield is a Canadian Army veteran and international bestselling author who writes the kind of books he always wanted to read—character-driven, gritty, tactical, and grounded in reality.
He doesn’t write one-dimensional killers wrapped in plot armor, charging toward an objective without thought. His stories are built for readers who want earned progression, tight, understandable logic, and realistic strategy. Every stat system has structure. Every decision is deliberate (except when there is Jaeger involved).
And the pacing? It's locked at two hundred percent. From alleyway brawls to starship armadas clashing over galactic sovereignty, from tactical dungeon assaults to city-states warring over a continent’s fate—Chatfield commits to every battle like it’s his last.
With millions of books and audiobooks sold, and tens of thousands of reviews his work spans LitRPG, military sci-fi, fantasy, and post-apocalyptic survival. He writes for readers who value systems that make sense, loyalty that lasts, and power that’s earned, not handed out.
Whether you're listening on a long drive, grinding through a shift, or up past midnight planning the next in-game raid—this is where you’ll find sagas to binge. Where strength is earned, logic rules, and camaraderie is forged in fire.

There was a sad bit that totally got me. Of the three books I've listened to, this one had the bets mix of plot elements, character oriented scenes & action.
Great series. If you're reading this you already know. If you're reading ahead to see what the reviews are. The series is great, many emotions, and backroom intrigue to keep you turning pages. Along with great battle scenes. Typos are getting rarer as the series progresses.
The war on Osdal was won - but at what cost? Is winning as important as how you win? Or is the goal worth winning at any cost? I don't know. And it isn't answered here. But the dilemma is coldly presented.
The action is great. Characters are still evolving and changing. The action sections are the only thing worth reading. I wish they'd hurry up and get to the Legion part that he's hinting at throughout. I'm skimming portions that are not really necessary for the plot or story.
