At the luxurious Hotel Indigo, the staff is attentive and the heat is always on.
Between her father's funeral, stress from work, and her mother's guilt, Lucy White has hit her boiling point. Something's got to give, so she books a room at the exclusive Hotel Indigo spa to let it all go, and leave her worries behind.
Dark and brooding Marco is Indigo's best masseur -- always in demand, always under pressure to "make the ladies feel good." According to the boss, Marco's pay depends on talented hands and loose morals, but lately Marco has had enough. He'll take one last high-paying client, then leave his tired past behind.
But paradise has other plans for both of them.
Once Lucy checks in and falls under Marco's strong touch, she just may never check out.
I love to write stories with characters that feel real enough to friend on Facebook, or slap across the face. I write to make you feel, think, and burn with the thrill that can only come from getting lost in the pages. I love to write unforgettable characters who wrestle with life's largest problems. My books may always end with a Happily Ever After, but there will always be drama on the way there.
We briefly met Lucy in Gagged (a standalone erotic romance that focuses on Caspian White), but she goes from sister-PA extraordinaire to a woman who just needs to focus on putting herself first, for once. After the death of her father, she finds herself in Inferno Falls to check in on her mother. But she soon finds herself in need of a vacation, from her vacation.
Marco is the hot masseur who might be trained to work out all those painful knots, but is pretty much just getting paid to pamper rich, bored housewives and ensure their stay at Hotel Indigo is a pleasurable one.
I have to admit, I was intrigued by Lucy immediately. With Caspian being such an odd character, I wasn’t quite sure what I was going to get with Lucy. Would she be as eccentric as her brother, have her own set of kinks, or would she be a normal girl surrounded by odd and peculiar?
Marco was aggressive, in the way that you love. Tired of being pretty much being used and prostituted out by these women who are superficial as could be. Enter Lucy. He may assume she is just like the other women at the resort, but he soon discovers that there is much more to her than he originally gives her credit for. I loved watching these two maneuver around each other. They may have jumped into a hot little affair, but they took their time getting to know one another.
I am a sucker for a romance that gives you complex characters and a story that showcases them having break down their walls and get past their own assumptions. Marco is so headstrong in his opinion but watching Lucy destroy everything he thought about her, over the course of the story was such an enjoyable journey.
I also admit that the whole massage turns to sex theme... this is a major turn on. It’s taboo but still sensual rather than all and out dirty. And Hotel Indigo balances the story with the sexy perfectly.
If you want more story with your romance, this is an author you must read. Strong plots, developed characters and steamy scenes.
Hotel Indigo has every thing you want in a book... angst, instant chemistry, steamy sex scenes, romance, a great story-line, and characters you can't help but love.
An ARC of this book was provided for an honest review.
I’ve read all of the author’s books and I’ve loved them all. They are unique and each story is very different than the previous one. They all have great characters, a great plot and steam. I always look forward to her next release. Hotel Indigo is my favorite book by the author so far!
We are back in Inferno Falls and I’m happy to be back. This book is Caspian’s (from Gagged) sister’s, Lucy, story, but it can to read as a standalone.
Lucy has been working for Caspian from the start of his company and she’s important to the company. She also takes care of her mother. Lucy desperately needs a vacation. She will stay in Hotel Indigo, a resort, for one week to escape her hectic life. Marco works a masseur at Hotel Indigo. One day, he needs to massage Lucy, but Lucy isn’t too happy with the massage. Marco sees Lucy again and they get to know each other.
Lucy and Marco are amazing characters. Lucy loves her family and would do anything for them. She would never abandon them. She also works very hard. She needed an escape for a few days and she found that in Hotel Indigo and with Marco. Lucy is a smart woman who knows what she wants. She’s rich and everybody knows her because of her brother, but she is actually a very down to earth woman.
Marco is tall, muscular, charming and gorgeous. He is an amazing masseur and all the women want to have a massage by him. Lucy is different than the other women he knows, but he treats her the same way as the others. Marco quickly realizes she’s different and likes to spend time with her. Marco wants Lucy to be happy. He pushes her and gets her out of her comfort zone. She wants to chase her dream again because of him.
There aren’t really secondary characters in this book, but I didn’t need them. I loved spending my reading time with Lucy and Marco. They belong together. They don’t like each other at the beginning, purely based on what they think they know about the other person, and I loved watching them fall in love with each other. We do get to know Hunter better. He is mentioned multiple times in some previous books, but I didn’t have the feeling I know him as much as I do now. I hope there will be a book about him!

I really liked gagged. And I liked Lucy in gagged. I even like Marco. But I wasn’t a huge fan of this one. It was ok and then the cliche over hearing a conversation and not understanding the true feelings....not my fave.
This book can be read as a standalone, but I have read a couple of this authors books and I'm going to say, I have an addiction to his books! No spoilers in my review, so you are safe to read this or any that I write! Many secondary characters, actually I would call them less than that in most cases so far, are in other books. In this book, the main female character, Lucy, has only been in the previous book, Gagged. That was the first book I ever read by Aubrey, and probably one of my favorite books ever, which is why I never stopped reading his books. Again, you don't read any previous books to read this one! I always read a book from a readers perspective, who hasn't read anything by the author, unless I have been told or I know that I have to read other books prior. Since I've only read a couple, I can actually say that this is true. In this book there are a few key characters, who are really in it. Lucy, as I stated, was in another book, but only enough to know that, I really wanted to have a book written about her! Now that I've been rambling, let's get get into the book! Lucy is amazing and beautiful, but the type of woman who doesn't need a pound of make-up to be pretty. She is always taking care of everyone and everything. She has a few fears, but I won't tell you what the biggest one's are. I will say, she decides that she needs a mini vacation and checks into Hotel Indigo. Marco is the masseuse at the hotel. His job is to make sure that the upscale hotel keeps their rich, mainly lonely housewives happy, while their husbands are working. He is in high demand, but has a history, fears of his own, and doesn't want to do what his boss is hinting at. What happens when two strong headed people collide? What if one or both is stereotyping? Can one help the other get past their fears? There's one thing I will mention, always read the Authors Notes at the end! He gives you insight and perspective on how the book, characters, and other information about the way everything came to be! Once again Aubrey, you may not have intentionally done it, but you have my brain thinking about some of the lines. I realized that I'm not much different! Another amazingly beautiful book! This book is a must read!
***Received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.*** A book about how past current/experiences transform into stifling fear that denies one's ability to move forward in life - Hotel Indigo resonated with me in so many ways. Lucy White, holding what seemingly is the weight of the world on her shoulders, feels pressure in both her personal and professional life. She is stretched so thin. Between helping her brother's business maintain its success, and being an emotional rock for her mother, she finally gives in to a long, overdue vacation. She needs to relax and recoup some of her sanity; and she sets out to find that at Hotel Indigo. As an introduction to her week of R&R, getting a massage is first on her list. However unbeknownst to Lucy, stumbling upon a masseur with a chip on his shoulder suggests she may have a more difficult time unwinding from her troubles. Meeting Marco, Hotel Indigo's highly sought after masseur, proves to be more than she ever expected. In an angsty love story, Hotel Indigo tells of two people whose worlds clash, expecting to use one another for what they want and need. Although neither anticipates feelings to develop, they both have difficulty denying the obvious. Both have family obligations and broken hearts that have been shielded. And neither one gives in easily. Lucy is the woman that many can see as themselves. She struggles with placing others' needs above her own. Marco is set on her path to show her different. He is commanding and firm in his pursuit. By showing Lucy a different way; he, unknowingly, opens himself up. Hotel Indigo is a story of two people that fight with the idea of being vulnerable with one another. Their idea of a basic, flash-in-the-pan week develops into something neither one saw around the corner. I utterly enjoyed this book. As a reader, I always look for a book that conjures some emotion in me, and Hotel Indigo did not fall short. This is such a pleasant read, and I would definitely recommend it to any Romance reader.
The first thing that I like about this story was how real and relatable the character were. I could feel how overwhelmed Lucy was because of her family situation, I think anyone who has pass for what she did would comprehend her feelings. The same could be said about Marco, Italians prife themselves by being family oriented people and I feel for Marco and all the decision he did, good and bad, for what he thought was best for his family.
In conclusion this is book has a great story line, it had angst, super hot sexy scenes that will melt you and leave you craving going to a Spa get a massage and get your happy ending!!!
Lucy White has reached the end of her rope, she just can't take anymore. Life has been too much and she needs a break from it all. She plans a week long getaway to the Hotel Indigo, once there she turns off her phone and tries to relax and forget about her troubles. But, a phone call to the front desk to ask for a massage will change her life in unexpected ways.
Marco is Hotel Indigo's most in demand masseuse. He has grown tired of all the "special" attention he must give to all the vapid, vane, and spoiled rich women who just want to use him. When he meets Lucy, he mistakenly thinks she is just another spoiled rich girl looking for a quick thrill from his masterful hands. What he gets is Lucy's ire, and that sets him ablaze. He also sees that she is a girl that needs to let go and relax, and he's just the guy to make that happen.
What starts off as just a week long fling quickly turns into something more. But, can these star-crossed lovers find enough common ground to make it something more? Read and see!
This story really hit the spot for me, it's funny, sexy, and has just enough angst to keep it interesting. Even though it's a quick read I didn't feel deprived at all. There was just the right amount of everything. I enjoyed Lucy and Marco's love story. Star-crossed lovers are always a favorite for me.

I want to visit Hotel Indigo! I really enjoyed this story! Poor Lucy! She really did need a break! And wow! Marco! Hot! Hot! Hot! This story has great characters and a good storyline. I would recommend!
I've been wanting to read Lucy's story since I read Gagged. Lucy is a people pleaser. She wants more for herself but other people's needs have always come first. One would think she would then come across as mousy and a pushover. However that is not a way to describe her even though sometimes that's how she feels about herself. In the beginning of the story she decides she needs some me time and books a stay at the luxury spa Hotel Indigo. She needs a vacation from her demanding mother and to regroup before heading back to her equally demanding job at her brother's company. It is while staying at Hotel Indigo that Lucy meets the extremely sexy masseuse Marco, the Italian Adonis. This man is everyone's fantasy at the hotel. He is good at his job but he really doesn't like being treated like a piece of meat. He needs the money and this job pays extremely well. But his boss wants him to make the guests "happy". This is what he is told to do for their most important guest, Lucy. But he soon realizes Lucy is not their typical VIP, she is something special. I recommend this book. Read the story of love and betrayal of Lucy and Marco. It's a sexy good read! I received an ARC for this honest review.
Ohhhh how I love me an Aubrey Parker book. Marco and Lucy were the cutest. Marco is a very proud man who like to make it on his own merits. Lucy is a proud women who also like to make it on her own. Together we will find out if they can make it together. I love this story because its has all the things you love about and AP book......its got a bit of mystery, its got sex, hot dirty sex, and it keeps you reading just one more chapter. I love that Lucy got her own story, but I will tell you that I hope that we get read more about her and Marco at some point......I would love to see what they are up to a few years down the road. I mean Marco is just so dreamy, I mean hello he is Italian after all. The other think I love about AP's books are that they set you up for the next book, she gives you all the deets about the next character which I can only assume is Hunter and of course I want to know everything about him! If ya'll have not read any of Aubrey's books I suggest that you get started stat!!!!!
I couldn't wait to read Lucy's story. Lucy is overwhelmed and can't take her mother anymore so she does something she hasn't done for herself, go to a spa. She is hesitant but Hotel Indigo is what Lucy needs and that's where she meets Marco. Marco is a masseuse and hates that his boss has him close to crazy certain lines. Marco is feed up but needs to money for his family back home. Marco and Lucy's first encounter was horrible, and Marco's boss told him to make her happy or he is fired. Marco does everything to help Lucy and make her happy and can't seem to stay away. With both being hurt from previous relationship's and both agreeing that they are just hooking up but when certain circumstances come up feeling get hurt. Can Marco & Lucy finally get their HEA or will the past haunt them both? I love Marco & Lucy's story and couldn't put my kindle down.
I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review
I have been waiting for this book to be released since I feel in love with Lucy's character in Gagged.
I was not disappointed this is truly a great read that is quick, witty, fun, serious, sweet, angsty...you get it a gamete of emotions.
Mr Parker delighted me with Lucy and Marco's story...Lucy having such a hard time and needing a break decides to go on vacation not fr from where she is living with her mom. Low and behold Marco is the hot masseur that Lucy is annoyed with. Annoyance does not last long and the sparks fly..kudos to the author for some great steamy scenes.
This book will grab you right from the beginning and keep you going until the very end...I can hardly wait to see what comes next from this creative and talented author!!
It truly is an honor to have been able to read and review this book!! EXCELLENT angst, emotional filled romance!!
I received an ARC in exchange for an HONEST REVIEW for Rockstar Book Muse
Every single time Aubrey Parker manage to exceed my expectations, and I found myself getting more addicted to his stories.
Hotel Indigo is a tale about two unhappy souls that found each other when and where they least expected it to happen. Lucy and Marco's chemistry is scorching hot, but what I love about this story the most is that this was more than physical attraction because they completed each other, even though they thought theirs was a simple arrangement with an expiration date.
The story line is beautifully well written, well plotted and with characters you'll find yourself falling in love with. Aubrey's writing just make me feel as one more of her characters and I thank him for that.
I highly recommend this and any of this authors books. Can't wait to see what's next.
I received this book in exchange for a honest review. It's the story of Lucy who been burned in love et in the tech world loosing her sense of self. She has a overbearing mother she thinks. A brother who doesn't care. Sounds familar lol. Marco is the man she meets, when after her fathers death she goes home to help her mom. Then it's time for a vacation at the "Hotel Indigo" Marco is a masseur there. They meets it goes from there to hot after a massage. She thinks it's a week fling. He falls in love she falls in love. She goes to leave he overcomes a fear to win her over for a happy ending. Definitely recommend, I love HEA❤️ Aubrey did a great job making the characters fun. I'd love a book on Caspian , Lucy's brother Mmmmm.
Simple right? Go on a mini vacation at an exclusive hotel, get relaxed and get away from an overbearing mother who likes to lay on the guilt after your father's funeral.
Marco is a man who is as hot as sin and under the thumb of a boss who expects him to give more than just a massage to the female clients at Hotel Indigo. When Lucy arrives at the hotel Marco is told to make her happy at any cost or find a new job! But what starts out as a job quickly leads to something more. But Marco needs this job and when the boss gives him an ultimatum regarding another hotel guest he is left with a very tough choice.
I love Aubrey Parker! I have been waiting for Lucy's story and she didn't disappoint. The sex is hot and the story is wonderful!
MY PANTIES MAY BE ON FIRE WITH MARCO AND LUCY. LIKE HOLY SHIT.
I CANNOT STOP MY REVIEW FROM BEING IN ALL CAPITALS BECAUSE THAT'S HOW MY MIND IS WORKING RIGHT NOW.
GET THIS. BUY THIS. LIVE THIS. LOVE THIS.
I want Hotel Indigo in my hands so I can have Marco's face all over my bookshelf. He is so hot and so beautiful that I can see why he is always in demand. People treat him like crap but I knew that there was something there that needed to unlocked.
Lucy did that for him.
Okay, I don't know what else to say other than to get this book because you will NOT be disappointed.
This is a story you can relate to from the start. The characters are real. There is Lucy, the people pleaser and Marco who has just about enough of being treated like a piece of meat by rich woman who want more than a massage. Lucy though has reached her boiling point when she decides to get away from life and checks into Hotel Indigo away from a demanding mother and her demanding job with her brother's company. From there the story gets really interesting including some steamy sex scenes. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Hope you do as well.
I received an advanced copy of this book for an honest review.
I enjoyed this one. Lucy was always trying to please everyone. Unhappy, she decides to take a vacation. When she meets Marco, the chemistry is instant and strong. Marco is the bad boy everyone wants to schedule an appointment with. Two people so different but could they want similar things in life? Could there ever be more than a week long fling? I enjoyed this story of personal growth, steamy chemistry and finding happiness.
Hotel Indigo is another work of art by Aubrey Parker. This story is full of drama, angst, love and steamy sex scenes. It has a whirlwind of emotions from the main characters and you can't help wonder if they will end up together or will just have what they started from the beginning and just end there. Both overcame their own fears and hurts to start their lives together.
another win! I received Hotel Indigo for an honest review and let me tell you this is a must read! You meet our heroine Lucy in Gagged, but can be read without. Hotel Indigo has what I look for when I read a book. a great story, characters you love, hot sex scenes, and it hits the feelings buttons. This book draws your attention and keeps it There til the end. great job Aubrey.
Steamy and hot but a sweet love story on the inside. They teach each other how to live a better life and in turn their own improves immensely. Great follow up to Gagged but definitely not a prerequisite to this book. Sassy and tortured secondary characters that I hope are explored next. I was lucky enough to be given this book in exchange for a fair and unbiased review.
This was a quick read. I loved Lucy in Gagged and I was so happy that she was getting her own book! Marco was perfect for her, he helped her so much and I think while he was helping her she was helping him and he didn't even realize it! I loved it!! I can't wait to see what's next!!
I was excited to read Lucy's story. Marco is a perfect counterpart to Lucy. Well written, great plot and good storyline. I've loved everything I've read by Aubrey Parker. I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
I find this author writing witty and adventurous. The story was sharp and grabbed my interest from the beginning. His Characters are well developed and come alive for the reader. It a great read.
