Meet the man, take the ride.

They call me “The Stallion,” and every girl knows why.

I go hard, whether it’s on the field or off – catching that game winning pass or scoring with the hottest girl on campus, everyone knows I’ll do whatever it takes to get what I want.

I’m on my way to the NFL, and all I need is a good girl to bring with me. When Emmy Hutchinson, smokin’ hot reporter from the campus paper comes looking for an interview, I know I’ve got the leverage I need.

She thinks I’m cocky. And maybe I am.
She thinks I’m used to getting what I want, and she might be right there too.
She’s hot, she’s professional – but she has a boyfriend.

But what Emmy should know from watching me on the field, is that nothing stands in my way.

STALLION is a stand alone flirty, steamy, titillating romance with no cheating and a guaranteed happily ever after!

This book has it all... a cocky, hot-shot football player, sizzling chemistry, a great story-line that keeps you turning the pages, some hot sex, which all leads to love and a HEA.

I volunteered to review an advanced readers copy of this book.

Stallion is the taming of an arrogant prick of a football player by the strong willed yet some how naive virgin college reporter. The story was a fast read and was entertaining. Walker is one of those characters that just irritate me the entire book because of how he acts. Emmy is by far my favorite character. She is strong and knows what she wants, most of the time. Some parts seemed just a bit too implausible to believe (even in fiction) but I still enjoyed the story despite this. I look forward to other books by this author.

If you love sports romance you can’t go wrong with Stallion. Autumn Avery knows how to pull you into a book from the very beginning and hold on to you throughout the whole book. You will feel their nervousness, the excitement, the adrenaline rush, and most importantly the ecstasy of Walker and Emmy. Walker is the “big” man on campus in more ways than one. (wink, wink) He is always “up” for his game and the ride a lot of the girls like to go on with the Stallion…okay, enough of the word plays!

Walker is looking at the big leagues and that has been his main focus…well, along with living in the football house that holds constant parties which includes more girls than any college boy has a right to. Walker doesn’t get attached though; it’s usually one and done and on to the next girl that throws herself at him...that is until Emmy shows up. Emmy is a homebody and a very serious writer for the college newspaper and loves to write about stories that matter so when her editor gave her an assignment to get a story on the college football star making ready to sign a deal with an NFL team Emmy hates the idea of having to do a fluff story on a womanizing football star. When Emmy’s roommate, Abbey, hears of Emmy’s new story Abbey predicts that Emmy will sleep with Walker. Emmy more or less just laughs at Abbey because why would a stud like the Stallion even look at a plain girl who happens to be a reporter…oh, and with a boyfriend (even though he’s lame) even think twice about her.

Walker is more than surprised when the “rack” girl shows up at one of the football house parties and she wants an interview with him and doesn’t want to go for a ride on the Stallion. The chemistry between this two is hawt, hawt, hawt!!! How does a womanizing football star that seems nothing but shallow even have a chance with a girl like Emmy? Walker is surprised himself that he is so drawn to a girl like this who only wants his story for the college rag. And poor little Emmy doesn’t know what hits her when the Stallion is showing any interest in her. Bet he wouldn’t be thinking like he is if he knows she still holds her v-card!

This is another out of the park book by Autumn Avery and will pull you in and keep you captivated the whole way through even if you may need a cold shower a few times! Walker and Emmy are both very lovable and will have you cheering for them both on and off the field.

Walker plays college football, wide receiver for the Colts. Walker, aka the Stallion, for obvious reasons, spends most of his time partying at the football house, when not on the field. So much so that he is in jeopardy of being benched due to his low GPA.
In the offices at The Tribune, Emmy, a shy, nerdy staff writer with the Houston University Orient, is being told she should lay off the heavy pieces she usually writes and write one on The Stallion instead. Walker Johnson. Emmy does her duty and heads to the football house to interview Walker. She can't believe the world she has just entered - jocks and sorority girls everywhere.....and Walker. Walker is gorgeous, a fact Emmy cannot dispute. Oh and he's cocky too. Emmy writes a piece on Walker that reads like a gossip rag story. Walker sets out to prove to Emmy that he is more than what was written by her. Could there be more to him than all partying and girls? Is that who Walker Johnson really is? Could she be falling for a meathead jock? Not so fast, she has a boyfriend....right? An unexpected incident brings Emmy back to the football house. She spends the night with Walker, but quickly denies it, something he is obviously not used to. No one denies they spent the night with The Stallion! Emmy decides it's best to keep Walker at a distance, just hold on to the memory of their night together. But life isn't always that easy. Life throws too many twists into your plans, some you never see coming.
I LOVED THIS BOOK ! WELL WRITTEN WITH GREAT CHARACTERS ! IT FLOWED WELL !
Once WALKER AND EMMY met, their CHEMISTRY WAS EXPLOSIVE ! LOTS OF SHEET RIPPING, BED BREAKING SEX ! ! !
GREAT READ ! DEFINITE ONE-CLICK !

Received ARC in exchange for honest review. I really enjoyed this book! Loved the insta-love element of it. It is different from Autumn Avery's other books that are more like second chance love stories. The chemistry between Emmy and Walker was great! I really like how Walker decided to open up to Emmy about who he really was inside. I also liked how Emmy realized that there was something deep inside her not allowing her to go further with Ronald and that he would never be the man for her. Loved that once Walker and Emmy were together he was unable to go back to his bad boy ways. Realizing he was in love with Emmy. This book was a really fast and good read and I look forward to more books from Ms Avery!

This was a fast paced story, where the shy, studious Emmy must interview Walker "The Stallion" Johnson for her college paper. They both experience some insta-lust which will develop to much more. We have the opportunity to see stereotypes at there worst, and how not everyone is who they seem.

It was a fun love story and we get a sweet HEA, where the pieces fall into the proper place.

Emmy works at the university paper and tries to write things that matter so when she gets her next assignment she wants so bad to refuse, a piece on the hotshot football star Walker "Stallion" Johnson. Yet when she gets the courage up to go to the football house she finds herself drawn to the man that Walker is, even when he tries to push her out of her comfort zone. The more time she spends with him the more she is drawn to him and has to keep reminding herself she has a boyfriend. Walker loves football, partying and the women that flock to him just because of who he is. Yet the first time he meets Emmy he can tell she is different, but he's not ready for what that could mean yet. Like Emmy, though, the more time spent with her the more he is drawn to her and what she could mean to his life. After an amazing night together they both say things to goad the other following a football game. A month without the other has them both pining for the other, yet the thing that brings them together is the one thing neither were planning on. I loved the latest from Autumn Avery! I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

When I started reading this I was a little concerned that it was going to be one of those so-so books that are just like every other one out there but I was pleasantly surprised at how this book drew me in and kept me reading. The book is about college football star, Walker and straight-laced good girl Emmy. I have to admit that I absolutely hated Walker in the beginning because he was such an ass and a major player but I suspected that there was more to him than just that and I was right. Emmy is a smart girl who was easy for me to relate to. She feels such a pull to Walker, even though she rightly fights it for a while she eventually gives in and is shocked to find that Walker doesn’t treat her like he does every other girl.

Emmy just wants to graduate and write for the paper and when the boss gives her the assignment to do an interview on Walker Johnson aka The Stallion she is reluctant. She wants to write about the world not some overly full of himself football player but she agrees and goes to his football house.
Walker can and does have any girl he wants and when Emmy walks in to get an interview in the middle of a raging party, Walker realizes she is different but he tells her she has a nice rack. He tells her he would give her an interview if she strips naked and cannonballs she gets embarrassed and leaves. Something about Emmy calls to him but he isn't sure what so when he sees her again he gives her a little insight into his life.
Emmy and Walker each want each other but she has a boyfriend and he never settles for just one. Can they find a way to meet halfway or are they destined to be on opposing sides.

Another great story! I totally love this sport romance.

Walker Johnson aka Stallion is the sexy cocky star running back at the University of Texas. Every women at the school knows of the Stallion and that he doesn't do relationship. However, that all changes for Walker as soon as he lays eyes on Emmy the school reporter.

Emmy is the school reporter for The Tribune who spends most of her time dedicated to her journalism. She's not the type of girl who goes to parties. Until her boss Peter gave her an assignment to interview the one and only Walker Johnson.

Meanwhile as she gets to know Walker they become close. She tries to fight her feelings for him but is having a hard time. Will they be able to figure out how they feel for one another before it's too late?

Stallion is about an over-confident football star that meets his match in the spunky college newspaper reporter. Walker Johnson is all set to go into the NFL. He is the college star that gets a different girl every night. Emmy is assigned to do a puff piece on Walker, which she detests. She is all about writing real stories and doesn't want the gossip piece. Walker thinks Emmy will fall to his charms and when she doesn't Walker is completely stupified. Emmy has become a full blown distraction for Walker. The funny thing is that as much as Emmy doesn't want to do the story on Walker, she can't deny her growing crush on the football star.

Stallion was a fun read. It was also HOT. Emmy and Walker were sizzling in their scenes. I enjoyed the banter between the characters, as they made me laugh. A fast feel good story

Walker is a star footballer both on the field and off. Arrogant, proud of his skill and his package, Walker loves to party, drink and score with the ladies every night. Emmy is totally opposite. She has no desire to party, get drunk or chase sexy players. Emmy takes her studies and her career goals seriously. That's why she was so upset to be assigned to write an article for the college paper on Walker, the Stallion, Johnson. When these two opposites attract, the reader is entertained by the inner mental turmoil. Walker knows she's attracted to him and feels it's only a matter of time before he scores. Emmy is equally determined not to be sucked in by all the hype, feelings and emotions. Excellent story. Loved it. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Five stars.

Stallion: A Bad Boy Sports Romance is a stand alone playful, red-hot, intersting and sexy romance with no cheating. The plot has a guaranteed HEA! I received an ARC copy from the author in exchange for an honest review, also borrowed in KU. She doesn't want to do it but when she gets to the football house and met Walker, she finds herself taken and attracted to him. What will happen when this two gets to spend time together? Stallion is a steamy, funny romance with great characters. As much as Walker is the ultimate cocky jock, it's hard not to like him. His observations are self-centered but humorous and his burgeoning feelings for Emmy reveal another side to him. Emmy is the nice girl, the straight-laced girl, who suddenly finds herself out of her depth and unable to resist "the Stallion" who is shaking up her world.

This is the first book I have read by Autumn Avery and I can't wait to read the others now. The writing is good, the story so enjoyable. It's a sexy romantic comedy with heart. I received a free copy of this book in return for an honest review and I loved it.

Ideal for a week end read or just a feel good sports romance, "Stallion" will put a smile on your face! When cocky, self absorb, rising star and super sexy alpha male, Walker Johnson meets driven, serious and unaware of her sex appeal "normal" girl Emmy Hutchinson, a crazy chemistry comes out of it!!! Interesting with a good plot and a few twists, Walker and Emmy's story is sweet, hot and perfect as a "pick me up" story!!!! I enjoyed it thoroughly and wouldn't have minded at all if the story or even the happy ending was stretched a little more.... Recommended to all sports/alpha male lovers with two thumbs up!!!!!

Received this complimentary arc copy from the author for an honest review.
Oh boy, does this story have everything, sexy guy Walker , Sweet sweet Emmy, action, good friends, laughter, sex, passion, drama and that's just for starters. Emmy just wants to write decent stories, so getting to write about him...Walker Johnson is just a turn off, or is it. Walker is getting fed up of all the meaningless hook ups so when he meets Emmy, she is so different. Problem is Emmy has an idiot boyfriend Ronald. A good storyline, it made me laugh as well which is good and the ending was even better than I hoped for. Brilliant.

This storyline reeled me in from the very beginning. Walker aka Stallion, is the typical cocky, manwhore, party lover, bad boy football player. Emmy is a shy studious reporter who is sent to write a story about Stallion. When Emmy walks into a frat party to see Stallion, she sees a lot more than she ever expected. This is a story of instant lust / love.
Autumn has done a great job in writing this storyline, and I recommend her work to all lovers of bad boy romances. Look forward to reading more of this authors work.

Walker is a college football stud and gods gift to woman. Walker expects to go pro after graduation. Emmy is a reporter for their college newspaper. Emmy is also a virgin. Emmy editor assigns her to interview Walker. Emmy is unhappy to find herself attracted to Walker. This was a great book. I couldn't put it down until the end. It's full of surprises and laugh out moments. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

A sexual new adult romance. College students Walker the star football player and Emmy the nerdy college paper reporter meet when she is sent to interview him. Walker knows no bounds and has no filters and soon takes Emmy along for the ride. A fun, hot, feel good story about falling in love.
The book was well written but ending felt rushed. I received a ARC copy from the author for my honest review.

I love College sports stories, however, while there was nothing new from this story, it was certainly a bit of cheesy fun and a nice quick read. I really liked the plot but fore me, the story and characters needed some further development. The story went from 1-100 and the romance was too insta for me.
