Are these two men too lost and broken? Or can these two somehow find each other in the darkness of their souls and find love? This book is 96,574 words long and approximately 533 pages. This is an adult M/M romance with male/male sex. It mentions PTSD, has light BDSM and mentions of past sexual abuse and trauma. It may contain triggers for some. It has HEA (happily ever after) for the main characters in this book but introduces new characters that will be further explored in future books that some may consider that a cliffhanger.

Pacific Northwest author Kendel Duncan offers insights into her literary career in her brief bio, stating that ‘Kendel Duncan is the pen name for Dara Nelson. Why did I choose a pen name? In Kendel’s case her ability to transfix the reader with her m/m erotica is evident when you check the following she has established – especially for this BLACK OPS SERIES of this book is #6 WIND CHILL LESS THAN ZERO. She offers a prologue to set the mood – ‘Cooper Thompson kept his eyes trained on both the bar across the street and on the red dots on his iPad screen. One of them, the one attached to Riley Miller’s Harley, was unmoving. The other, the one that Cooper had managed to tuck into the collar of Riley’s shirt after they had kissed each other in the bathroom in that bar, a kiss so hot it still had Cooper hard in his jeans – that dot was slightly moving as Riley moved around in the bar. Cooper was still coming to grips with the fact that Riley had kicked him out and not come with him even though he knew his life was in grave danger. Cooper had kissed a lot of men in his life but never had a single kiss turned him inside out the way Riley’s kiss had. He wanted more, craved more but the man had also said that he never slept with his partners, he never crossed that line between work and personal. So what did that mean for them? Wind Chill Less Than Zero, the sixth book in Kendel Duncan's Black Ops series, picks up right where Hazardous Weather Conditions ends.
Of course, as part of the Black Ops series, this tale includes undercover work, murder and rape situations. There are so many couples, so many emotions, and so much sex!!! The BDSM dynamics are great, and definitely hot.
This story's about taking a chance on love again, allowing yourself to be happy.
Drake's story is heart-breaking, yet full of healing and love.
I seriously can't get enough of this series. Every character is easy to fall in love with and root for throughout. Every couple has an extremely strong connection. And, yes, the sex is insanely hot. Every story is full of emotion and action. And twists and turns. I love the constant addition of new characters, along with the lead in to the next book. I definitely recommend Wind Chill Less Than Zero!

An amazing series
These books get better and better or is it just that the reader knows these men so well and have become invested in their world. The addition of the new members of the team keeps the story fresh and interesting. It's hard to put the book down and you keep reading just so you can see these men happy as they were supposed to be. I can't recommend this book or this series enough. I'm off to read book 7!

ABSOLUTELY FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC SERIES
WOW!!! Here it is book #6 and every story is unique, emotional and the characters have a fantastic, addictive connection. I can't say anything more because I don't want to slip with a spoiler. I will say this is a BEAUTIFUL, TOUGH, BUNCH OF SEXY, FUNNY, POSSESSIVE, NO NONSENSE MEN, who live, love and learn. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND THIS INCREDIBLE, AFFORDABLE SERIES!!!!!

I love this series! I love the mix of characters throughout this book. Adventure, love, hot sex and unexpected twists from beginning to end. Can't wait for the next one!!!

Chilly
I think I should have read at least the previous two books but did not. So initially took a bit to figure what in the what was going on. The MCs are very emotionally and they fall in love with in 24hours. But I liked the twists that the author included .
