I was still nursing a bad knee when I read this one. This book really educated me in what it takes to build endurance, power, and speed. I have had a tough time finding the time and energy to train like I need...but I am entering a stage in life where time is swinging in my favor. I'm going to try and implement some of it's teachings this year (08').

I'm training for the Leadville race in July (50 mile one), and wanted some ideas for regimented, self-coached training. This is just the book!
Lots of good advice, several charts to use etc...

This book helped me to climb the amateur ranks like a mountain goat. When used together with motivation it delivers.
